I would go to Southwest.com on a computer and when you log in to to your account and look for the promotions tab. You should see a button to register click it and it will take you to a screen that explains the terms and conditions of the promotion and you click register again and you will be all set. Keep in mind for the 2X tier qualifying points you would need to register then book then travel to get the promotion to work so if you have flights already booked you would need to cancel and rebook after you register to be eligible. -Blake

I would try going to southwest.com on a computer or tablet (use the full website not mobile site or mobile app) and under your account it should show the promotion. Another thing to check is make sure the email has your name and RR # in case you got an email for a spouse or child instead. One example I set up my sister's RR account years a go so i still get her account emails she got the promotion I didn't (I already earned A List so it would be a useless promotion for me anyways) If the email says your name and RR# and you still don't see the promotion I would Contact Customer Relations so they can investigate. Keep in mind with this promotion it is a register then book then travel so flights already booked wouldn't qualify unless you cancel and rebook after you register. -Blake

Southwest doesn't have a policy on saving seats so yes a person can dave a seat for a family member if they want. Another instance where a seat would be saved/reserved is when a customer of size buys 2 seats then they have 2 boarding passes and place one that says seat reserved on the seat next to them and that middle seat would remain open on the flight. -Blake

Pull out of Texas yeah right. In that case you should never fly again because every airline flies to Texas and 3 of the big 4 have hubs in Texas. Your welcome to share your feedback with the airline directly though one of these contact methods: Contact Customer Relations And honestly choosing to support or not support a business over politics is silly and ridiculous I support a business because of the product not how the state that they operate in does business because businesses don't make the state laws. -Blake

As @TheMiddleSeat stated that shouldn't be a problem as i personally have gone with my grandparents to pick up my cousins and I was 18-20 years old they let all 3 of us get a gate pass so you shouldn't have any problems especially since you would have a baby.

LUV vouchers are usually issued as compensation because of flight delays they are valid for a year. Other times the voucher could be issued as a way to extend travel funds that type of voucher is valid for 6 months but usually vouchers because of flight issues or baggage issues are valid for a year.

So I was able to connect to it and it took me to the SW portal and SW community but other sites like Twitter it didn't work unless I paid for the Wi-Fi. Normally if I'm not connected to the southwest network I won't have access to the in flight portal. In this case I could also see the movies, live tv, flight tracker using this network but never seen the network before this flight. Maybe if I see it again I'll stay on the plane and let everyone else get off first when we arrive to see if the network vanishes once other customers are gone.

Just curious has anyone else seen Southwest WiFI-Highspeed on any flights recently? My flight from AUS-LAS this afternoon has it and at first I thought it was a hotspot from someones phone but I was actually able to connect and the WiFi is actually working. -Blake

Some airports call it the premium passenger lane. Keep in mind if you use the flyby security it usually won't include the pre check access so if you have pre check you will be better off going to that line. -Blake

At this time there is no vaccine mandate for employees. With testing for passengers no airline requires all passengers be tested unless the destination requires it (return from international destinations as an example) Your welcome to share your thoughts with southwest though one of these contact methods though Contact Customer Relations -Blake

35min should be enough time for a connection in Kansas City. Airlines won't sell a connection if you won't be able to make it. If you notice your first flight is late you can speak to a gate agent at the airport about alternative flight options. If you get to Kansas city and miss your connection (because of a flight delay) you will be booked on the next available flight. If the next flight is not till the next day you can inquire about a hotel and depending on why your first flight was late they might be able to get you a room at no cost to you. If your first flight is on time you should be good to go just bring a snack with you as you probably won't have time to eat in Kansas a city. -Blake

I know TPA and SRQ are co terminal/sister airports I don't think RSW and TPA are co terminal/sister airports so you may be stuck with a flight to/from RSW or you can request a refund and book to TPA. Since your flight was changed by Southwest you can get a refund to your original form of payment if you choose to go that route you would need to reach out to Southwest by phone, on Facebook/Twitter, or you can use the in app chat feature. -Blake

You would need to call reservations to make this type of change because if a difference in fare would need to be collected the app chat feature won’t work for you since they can’t process payments and same with Facebook and Twitter. You can reach reservations at 800-435-9792 your other option is to cancel the MCO-STL return online and book a new one way from MCO-MDW this would save the phone call -Blake

In my experience prior to covid when the airport was going to give out vouchers it was done at the airport before you depart (they print them out and hand them to everyone on the affected flight) I’m not sure if that process changed but your best bet is to Contact Customer Relations and they can look in to your flight and hopefully get you the voucher that was promised at the gate. -Blake

I would search your email for the subject line of “Here’s your Southwest LUV Voucher” and this should pull it up if you happened to miss it in your email if using Gmail be sure to check your promotions folder and the spam/junk folders as emails sometimes go to the wrong place. if you still haven’t received it after checking the folders and trying that subject line in the search bar of your email then I would Contact Customer Relations again and make sure they have your email address right and ask them to resend. A friend of mine had a voucher resent last week and got it the next morning. I also just got a voucher last week and it went to my regular email folder so double checking couldn’t hurt. -Blake

Only small cats and dogs can travel onboard the plane in an approved carrier. Emotional support animals are no more on most airlines (if not all) in the United States thanks to people who abused that to bring animals like birds, turtles, peacocks on planes. Southwest now only allows trained dogs and miniature horses to travel as service animals to help with certain tasks (dog for sight impaired as one example) -Blake

For what changes southwest is making you can always Contact Customer Relations to see what they can share however since this is a customer to customer forum you probably won't get those answers here.
