Just looked it up and for tomorrow it is double the price of just the one ticket. The first flight has a layover of over an hour in STL. You can try talking to the ticket agent at New Orleans and try to get it changed. I managed to get a longer layover once. You may have to pay for it though.

What has happened to all the non-stop flights? I have absolutely no desire to fly north to go southwest. I really liked the non-stops because you can get there faster without worrying about your luggage making the connection with you.

I didn't lose them after all. I found a flight to ORD instead of MDW for just at $16. I went from non-stop to stopping at LAS for 2 hours but VEGAS and you can smoke in the gaming rooms.

Oh @TheMiddleSeat I wasn't complaining. I was hoping that they would change my flight to something I liked better but when they just changed my flight I got the one I wanted. The weird thing is I couldn't find the flight that they changed me too. Weird.

I want to go from STL to MCO to MDW. Just changing the last part. I didn't realize what time I was leaving to fly back until just now and don't want to be in the airport at 430 am. But the other options are not in my price range. The train ticket only adds $29 to my budget instead of $94 for the other flight ( or a later one for same price with hotel at the other end).

I buy early bird so I don't have to remember to check-in at 24 hours. I could care less where I am in line because I chose it for conveince(sp) not to get on early. If I wanted to get up at 6 am merely to check-in I wouldn't buy it but I'm lazy like that.

well I thought that I was safe from changes since I don't fly until November but got a notice today that my flight was going to be 40 minutes later. It was already a evening flight so I was able to change to a morning flight (on the same day) with no charge on line. Thank you for letting me do this Southwest.
