Yeah on your phone will be a lot more clearer ! Technically the app is not an iPad app so you had to check iPhone app when you downloaded it . For me it just presents as smaller, formatted for a phone. I would say use it on your phone or stick to the web site !

Ahh yeah it’s been out of commission for a while and I find myself missing it. I wonder why it was retired. I still try to do this by hand going back and forth selecting different but it’s a much more cumbersome process

Should be fine ! Sometimes that happens to me and I just have to find a piece of ID that has that spelling whether it be a library card, member card etc only one one did I have to go back and get a new boarding pass so you should be good

Haha yes! A lot of Airlines now have their signature snacks from Delta’s Biscoff boi cookies 🍪 to the Stroopwafel United takeover! I like the pretzel but also hope southwest will get a new signature snack ! For now I’m enjoying the pretzels and belvita crackers !

If you’ve done this and are already in the position I would suggest boarding as soon as you get there ! Just a couple minutes can make a difference and I’ve dodged my way through airports because I knew I was cutting it close ! Remember if you’re a-list you can board in between a and b and if you’re early bird 🦅 even if they’ve passed your number you can go up and don’t have to wait at c60 or something to board 🙂

Something else that sometimes works for me is making a flight 3 instead of two trips. As it stands I’ll have 24/25 qualifying flights (maybe 30 total ) so I am adding a leg to one of my trips. My travel will take me to DC for work so I’m booking MDW-DCA and BOS-MDW on the business side and then getting a cheap flight on my own DCA-BOS(around 60 bucks ) and doing a little day trip in Boston good luck! 🍀

Hmmm good idea ! Yeah I have definitely mostly seen SWA flights being close to full but here and there, there’s a lot of empty seats 💺. Usually this happens on very common, week-day direct flights in the morning. I think the dynamic pricing works pretty well with southwest and encourages folks to book early but I agree some of it should go down close to the end. The hard part is timing it just right so the airline doesn’t end up losing money with everyone waiting for prices to drop at the last minute

This is great ! I knew a lot of the coffee came from this region and it’s great Southwest cares about the community that makes up its coffee production. Most of my family is in Mexico City so this is especially close to my heart !

I think go to your settings in your iPhone then scroll all the way down to see all your apps and click on southwest. From there the first line should be location services and you can togggle on and off

A lot of people have been asking about the new priority events in different cities around the country. It looks look like its different in every city but I had to find the rules to get the details for Chicago! The event is happening from 11:30am to 5:30pm at Pioneer Court(401 North Michigan) on the Mag Mile on Tuesday August 14th, 2018 It looks like with a valid rapid rewards account you can register and if you are selected to play you can win things from speakers to hamilton tickets to rapid rewards points !

I had heard a lot about this happening and I think it'll be a good decision! Many people have peanut allergies. There will still be the belvita snacks on the plane I presume which are pretty healthy and tasty!

I’d like to thank Darlene at BWI ! After a ton of delayed flights due to heavy rains it looks like she stayed a little late tonight at the priority check in line . She helped me figure out my itinerary and how I was going to make my connection the following day . more importantly she kept her cool when she received verbal abuse from the customer behind me! This customer refused to be serviced by another ticket counter serving the “regulars “ and was angry Darlene’s shift was over even though she was already staying late ! I believe she stayed for her as well . Thank you Darlene and I hope as passengers we can maintain civility whether we are “priority customers” or not

I tried it but the $100+ fare difference wasn’t worth it! I was flying from MDW to LGA with a connection in STL. Both flights from MDW had the same connection flight so I was wondering if I could take the late one to reduce my layover from 4 to 1 hours . I asked and it Didn’t work ! But it was fun trying

Does the A-List Standby Policy apply to flights after the on you are scheduled for? I have a flight at 3:45 that gets in at 11pm to my destination and there's another flight at 5pm that gets there at 8 Thanks!

Even if you didn’t know the username and we’re looking for the number I was saying you could use the fact that the number is on all your boarding passes in your Apple wallet and just copy/paste into the app to login

If you mean the Rapid Rewards number, it's on every SWA boarding pass in apple wallet. Simply click the i button on the lower right hand corner of the pass, and you can see confirmation number, rapid rewards number, drink coupon, etc
