So for me, Chrome operates as it should on all Operating Systems.: Windows, IOS and Android. There is something unique about your setup that is causing your problem.. The problem is not endemic to Chrome. See the suggestions earlier in the thread to make sure that your Chrome browser is not set up in portrait mode, and to try reloading Chrome.

If you'd like to see the airline institute lifetime awards, you probably should tell the airline. Here's how: https://community.southwest.com/t5/Knowledge-Base/Submitting-a-Suggestion-and-or-Complaint/ta-p/87244

Good info, but SWA is not to blame for Boeing’s shortcuts. If Boeing could not have made the new plane with the same type rating without needing simulator training, that is 100 percent on Boeing.

You won't get much help here. We're just community members. But the painful truth about using travel funds is they all acquire the earliest expiration date if used to book one ticket. The closer funds get to expiry, the more careful you must be using small funds on trips you may cancel. If you bundle them with cash or other funds, you lose more if they do expire. Sorry for your experience.

I’ve been flying Southwest 2-3x a week for several years now—I’ve been meaning to finally join this messageboard I’ve lurked for so long, so thanks, as it’s a good question. When I first took a field job, I primarily chose Southwest because of the frequency of service to my two prime stops, Albuquerque and New Orleans (but I handle Portland OR to San Juan PR, and can/do use SWA to get to all those locales). In the intervening years, the reasons have changed: 1. The Companion Pass, one of the better if not best reward of all the domestic airlines—my wife flies for free with me and we use the heck out of it with no restrictions. 2. The customer service. On the phone and at the gate and on the plane and on social media, I’ve always had good, usually very good, responsive experiences with staff. 3. Open seating. As I most often book less than a week before flying, I love that I’m not stuck picking the best of a bunch of middle seats. Now, those are my main reasons, they might not work for others, just as others’ reasons reasons might not be best for me (like, I very very rarely check a bag, but I like knowing I can for free if I choose). And I’m not saying they are perfect, not hardly. They had a pretty rough early summer, as poor COVID business decisions SWA made and outside tech issues and the severe weather created a perfect storm of problems that pax had to suffer through (and I did). I’ve done my share of complaining to Southwest staff for sure. But for the vast majority of the time, before and since, they get me there on time (or early) and most importantly, safely (their top track record on that is important to me, too). I’m a happy customer, which is more than I can say for, say, my rental car companies. Now, if you don’t like them, fine, whatever, but no one here can do anything about it (or even care, to be frank)—it’s a messageboard for pax to share info and opinions amongst themselves. Good luck/Godspeed.

Four days ago, Delta became the first U.S. airline to extend elite status through 2022. Perhaps Southwest will follow suit and extend companion pass through 2022 for those who earned it in 2020.

Not sure why that smallest dimension would matter. The length is the most critical, so the bin can shut. And even then, many people put their oversized bags on sideways to cheat.

Why would you not fly for a year? Sounds like a personal decision unrelated to Covid. So you won't find much sympathy here.

Totally agree with you, you should get what you pay for Southwest isn't in the business of delivering that. Would recommend literally any other airline so you don't have to deal with their "quirks" , sincr Southwest decides to identify their flaws as such.

I have a post on here from a few months ago with this same situation except my companion is 5. LOTS of confusion within the SWA customer service team and airport staff. I always ask nicely to have her board with me and was only hassled once. I’m A-list now and that resolved the whole issue but it’s still really dumb.

@ghsiehswa wrote: Can you use travel funds to buy points? Also, you're saying we need to convert travel funds to a travel voucher before the funds expire to get the extra 6 months added? Morning. One can only use vouchers to buy flights. Travel funds may be converted to vouchers 1) no earlier than the day after they expire 2) no later than 6 months after the expiration date. Vouchers are good for travel for 6 months.

Since you are changing dates of travel, you will pay the prevailing fare for your itinerary. Given that, the easiest thing for you to do is cancel the first ticket and get a travel fund. Then use that travel fund to purchase your new ticket.

Yes, some crews handle things differently. They're human... not the automatons you find on other airlines. And you claim you were treated like a child. Well, I daresay you sound like one coming here to vent in public that you were "offended". So maybe they treated YOU appropriately. They are tasked with enforcing mandates that are tedious, honerous, and in many ways past due for repeal. At least many people think they are, and act accordingly. If you had to deal with that every day, you might be surly as well. So have some compassion and toughen up a little bit. Whining is not an appealing quality. I've been on over a hundred flights with mask mandates and have seen the gamut of attitude out of the flight attendants. It's certainly gotten worse over the months. Does it annoy me sometimes? Sure. But never enough to get on the internet and publicly disclose that I'm so frail that I take rule enforcement personally and need a support group when I land.

I know back when peanuts were served on Southwest flights they allowed some with peanut allergies to pre board so they could wipe down there seat and tray table if they wanted but now days I don't think they would let you since nuts are less on Southwest flights since they no longer serve them just a few customers might being them on. You could talk to the gate agent to see what they can do but now days the most I've seen done is an announcement to please not eat nuts on this flight because of a peanut allergy. -Blake

FYI: I registered this spring for the A-list promotion, and actually forgot about it. When I scheduled three flights (one for June, July and August) and checked the box for "early bird", there was no charge and the confirmation indicated I had this benefit. This worked in June, but, when I checked in today for my July flight, I am in the "C" boarding group! Apparently, there was an expiration date for the promotion--I find this troubling that the system didn't automatically know that the July and August flights scheduled were outside the promotion period and notify me so that I could have purchased the "early bird" option. I also learned from another post that if you change a flight, you can lose this promotion. Be warned!

It’s one thing if a single, or even a few flights are cancelled. It’s quite another when they are cancelling literally hundreds of flights because they don’t have the capacity.
