Seems strange that you can't log into the app, especially if you can log in via the browser.
I have found that, at times, the app will auto-log me out and I have to log in again, especially if there is a new app update. See if the app needs to be updated, and if so download the update and try again. It should eventually let you log in, sometimes there are connection issues and the login doesn't work for a time, but it's rare.

Not in your email or junk or spam. You cannot find the hotel in your Southwest.com account. It is nowhere!!!!
You're not going to find your hotel reservation on Southwest.com because - if you paid attention while booking - you are actually directed to SouthwestHotels.com - a different site altogether. Your hotel reservation is there and can be modified/cancelled there.
I have always gotten an e-mail confirmation immediately after booking.
If you didn't get an e-mail, you can have it resent here: https://secure.southwesthotels.com/myreservations.html?aid=2077218&ref=SWHTL
@abpecunes wrote:
Why would anyone book a hotel through Southwest Hotels if it is non-refundable when they could book directly with the Hotel of their choice and get a full refund?
This fully depends on the type of hotel you selected when booking. Many are, indeed, non-refundable. It very clearly says in the terms that it is non-refundable when you are booking the room, and that you will be charged immediately as well. If you don't want this. You need to look for rooms that say "FREE CANCELLATION - No PrePayment needed" - these rooms allow free cancellations and don't charge you until you stay. Other options might just say "Free Cancellation" which means you are charged when you book, but if you cancel before X date, you can get your money back.
Of course, it goes without saying that even if you book with the hotel directly, many times they have cheaper rates that are non-refundable vs. the standard rate which is refundable. It all depends on what you book.

This is an older post - but - there is lots of incorrect information here.
Southwest Hotels is not directly affiliated with Southwest - it is managed through a 3rd Party, Booking.com. So any questions/concerns/etc. need to be made through them.
Secondly, I actually use Southwest Hotels quite often - 2 different hotel stays over the last 2 weeks or so - and to date I have never had any problems. I use Southwest Hotels whenever I don't care about loyalty to a particular hotel brand and want to stay somewhere unique, and/or I get a lot of points for the stay. For my last 2 trips I got 3,000 points. So it's worth it from that angle if you want extra points, and they are Companion Pass qualifying-points.

Using a bot is easily against Southwest Terms of Service and you could be banned if using it and got caught.
That aside, what you're looking for is easily attained by purchasing an Anytime or Business Select fare, which includes Early Bird.

Not getting a confirmation e-mail when you booked should have been your first read flag. You always get a confirmation e-mail with every booking. You could have gone to Southwesthotels.com, clicked "Manage my booking" and clicked "Resend confirmation e-mail" to see if that would have sent anything about a cancellation.
With that said, Booking.com is the parent site and Agoda is a child site - Priceline, Kayak, Agoda, OpenTable, and others are all a part of Booking.com.

Nope. I received the email yesterday. This is a screen shot of the notice.
First there has never been a "Law" regarding masking it was simply a "Mandate". Whoever controls these auto generated emails better do some homework.
This email looks strange. First, the links point to t.iluvsouthwest.com, which is possibly spam (I loaded the URL and it just has random ads for Southwest, and verbiage that "the domain is available"), and I'm not sure what LugLess is. Plus, look at how indented the "Travel Notice" header is.
This isn't an official email from Southwest. It's fake/possibly spam.

Seems like old verbiage. The federal mandate was dropped in April 2022. Masks are "encouraged" these days but not required. Some private institutions have required them over the past month or so (like colleges in NY and CA) but those are exceptions. It's not likely that full "mandates" will ever come back - hopefully.

Just in: soon you can standby on another southwest flight regardless of your fare class and Business Select customers will get free Wi-Fi!
i’m curious for A List A List preferred customers what are your thoughts on this change since you could be on standby with a lot more people certain times of the year. Keep in mind it’s only standby where A list still gets same day confirmed.
I'll weigh in as I usually book WGA+ (non A-List).
I think the Same-Day Standby policy change was necessary considering competing legacy carriers were doing the same. Since the benefit appears to be morphing into a standard feature across the airline industry, it makes sense in my opinion for Southwest to offer it too. Since Southwest generally does not like to upcharge for such "basics", I think this had to be done.
We should keep in mind two factors: Same-Day Standby List is different from Same-Day Flight Change (both currently included with A-List and WGA+ fares or higher). Of all the times that I've needed to use either of the Same-Day change benefits under WGA+, I have only needed to use Same-Day Flight Change; I have not needed to use the Same-Day Standby List benefit. It appears that non A-List'ers who purchase WGA fare will not get the Same-Day Flight Change benefit.
Regarding A-List, I don't think there's much to worry about because I assume A-List'ers will still retain their priority order on the Standby List based on fare, being placed only behind those who are re-accommodated due to flight disruptions and in front of everybody else. As for me who books WGA+, the policy states that non A-List WGA+ fare also remain ahead of WGA and behind A-List.
With all that being said, I think the A-List is long past due for much needed value upgrades. I would propose a number of add-ons to A-List so that this program too can better compete with the other carriers.
Example suggested perks to add to A-List combined with all existing perks:
A-List: Free Wi-Fi Transferrable Flight Credit for WGA Standand Plus Priority Pass Reimbursement (10 lounge visits per year) 100% TSA PreCheck or Global Entry enrollment Reimbursement 25% CLEAR enrollment Reimbursement
A-List Preferred:
All A-List perks above plus
Premium Beverage Prestige Priority Pass Reimbursement (unlimited visits) Free Companion Upgrades to Business Select Board after A30 if positioned at A31 or behind 100% CLEAR enrollment Reimbursement
Agree with all of this!

I'd book one or more hotel stays via Southwest and look for the hotel offers with bonus points. I've gotten thousands of extra points that way, they regularly offer 1,000 - 10,000 or more bonus points.

Southwest's lost/damaged bag policy is pretty clear that you must file a claim within 4 hours of either a) arriving to the airport or b) retrieving your luggage.
https://www.southwest.com/help/baggage/lost-damaged-baggage
For domestic itineraries, Customers must notify us of the claim no later than four hours after either: (a) arrival of the flight on which the loss, damage, or delay is alleged to have occurred, or; (b) receipt of the baggage, whichever is applicable.
For domestic itineraries, we’re not liable for manufacturer defects or for minor damage resulting from normal wear and tear, such as cuts, scratches, scuffs, stains, dents, punctures, marks, and dirt. We’re also not liable for carryon baggage or any items contained in a bag deemed overstuffed.
This is one reason why I travel light and rarely check bags, though. With a carryon you can skip checking bags and go straight to TSA. Saves a lot of time/hassle that way.

How can American have multiple daily nonstops to FL airports but Southwest has literally none? MCO nonstops on Saturdays only? It makes zero sense honestly.

What does this have to do with Southwest? It doesn't matter if you're A1 or C60, as long as you get on the plane, you'll get home and won't miss your bus ... I've been in the late Cs before and still managed to be in the first 10 rows of the plane. One time I was second row center seat. Even if you're in the very back, you should be off the plane in time to catch other public transportation.
And you ended up in row 6. There's barely a few minutes difference deplaning at this point.

Prices fluctuate all the time for many things, especially on sites like Amazon.
I would say taking 30 whole minutes to complete a transaction on Southwest.com is your first error. It should only take minutes to select flights and check out. I have certainly seen prices change an hour after looking at them. It's unfortunate that they change so quickly but it happens. That's why you have to jump on a good price as soon as you see it.

Hi - i will be flying tomorrow and lost my driver’s license yesterday- what other document can i take to be cleared to travel?
Here is a list of valid IDs you can use for flight travel, a passport being the most common alternative. Also from the page:
In the event you arrive at the airport without valid identification, because it is lost or at home, you may still be allowed to fly. The TSA officer may ask you to complete an identity verification process which includes collecting information such as your name, current address, and other personal information to confirm your identity. If your identity is confirmed, you will be allowed to enter the screening checkpoint. You will be subject to additional screening, to include a patdown and screening of carry-on property.

If you have points from flights that are not associated to your RR account, you should first request those points to be added to your RR account in the "Request past flight points" section of your account. You can request points to be added to your account if the flights were flown within the last 12 months. Once the points post to your RR account, you can redeem them for flights using your RR account.
