Go to the customer service podium at the gate* and tell them that you would like to be accommodated as a Customer of Size. They should be able to help you with that best at this point. Have a great flight!
*Alternatively, you can go to the "Full Service" line at the airport and the customer service agent there can also accommodate your request.

You can call reservations starting at midnight the day of departure or go to the airport and ask for a same day confirmed flight change.
keep in mind you would need to make the change at least 10min before you original flight so the no show policy doesn’t kick in.
unfortunately they haven’t made it possible to make the change on the app (at least for A List members) you could try the app at midnight before calling but if it wants a fare difference then calling or visiting the airport will be your best bet but don’t wait till 5:50am to start the process or your funds will be lost
Just adding on to @bec102896's response - if you have a Wanna Get Away Plus, Anytime, or Business Select fares - you can change your flight (and get confirmed on another departure) on the app or Southwest.com for no additional charge. If they're all sold out (or say Unavailable) on the app, you'll have to go to the airport so they can add you to the Standby list, but you'd have to do it before your original flight is scheduled to depart otherwise you'd forfeit any travel funds per the No Show Policy.
Keep in mind that a same-day confirmed change does not guarantee your same boarding position - you'll likely get a later boarding position and if you purchased Early Bird Check-In, it'll have no use since you changed your flight less than 24 hours prior to departure.

Hi!
Official career listings are posted on careers.southwestair.com. Any other postings you find are not official postings and Southwest does not recommend that you apply to them as it is not theirs.
You’ll probably have to wait until a posting is live for the Ramp Agent position - BLI is a smaller station so they might not have as many opportunities come up - be sure your notifications are turned on so that you’ll know when it comes up. The company is in need of many ramp agents, though, so trying to get ahold of someone at Southwest (if you know someone) who works at the station and letting them know you’re interested definitely wouldn’t hurt, if anything, it’ll help you in the future by demonstrating your interest. As far as tips for getting a position at Southwest, I would read up on the culture since it’s always something they look for in applicants. It’ll definitely help with an interview!
Best of luck!

At one point, it was required as Southwest is a federal contractor but it has now become part of a gray area. I believe it is requested that you provide documentation of vaccination when you apply for a position, but Southwest does provide accommodations for various exemptions to answer your question. Your recruiter might be able to inform you on how to request an accommodation through the hiring process.
Hope this helps!

Hi!
The quickest flight from PHX to PBI depends on the date that you are traveling. There is not currently a non-stop flight on the flight schedule (between now and January 4, 2023), however, one may be introduced when Southwest releases booking for more travel dates in mid-July.
After checking the flight schedule, it looks as if there is only a route on Saturdays (assuming you are traveling within the next two months). There are three routes on Saturday - one with 1 stop and two with 2 stops, ranging from total travel time (including connections) to 8-9 hours.
Because West Palm Beach is a smaller station, might I suggest flying into Miami or Fort Lauderdale? There are a lot more options out of Phoenix if you are traveling to those destinations. Fort Lauderdale is only 50 minutes away and Miami is an hour away driving.
Hope this helps!

What you're experiencing is quite common among passengers. Sometimes, it's the airport wifi or poor internet connection in the airside. Feel free to approach a customer service podium with your ID and they'll be more than happy to print you a paper boarding pass. The Apple Wallet boarding pass might not be the most up-to-date - always check the Southwest app for the most up-to-date boarding/gate information. If the app is not updating, check your internet or data connection to bring it back online.

Hi!
Generally, the time for an update on your application can vary from weeks to even months. For the CS&S position, I know that there are a lot of applicants so it might take them some time to sort through the applications and provide updates/interview times. Since you already submitted an application, I'm sure that it is already going through the workflow. They might be working through an earlier requisition or bucket of applicants and providing them with responses already - no worries, though - they'll let you know as soon as they can.

I'm not a CSA but I've seen a lot of them wearing either black dress shoes or dark-colored walking shoes. Typically, though, I think any type of closed-toe walking-comfortable footwear would work. Black boots are also allowed.

My speculation is that they held the flight for the connections because they were still loading luggage, although that may differ from what they had told you originally. Generally, they like to push the planes on-time and if it's delayed, to not increase the delay. If it's a large party that is connecting, they may hold the plane to accommodate those passengers, but if it's only a single individual, they'll try their best to accommodate that passenger on the next departure, with compensation, of course. Apologies that it happened to you!

Once you log in to your Southwest Careers portal, you should be able to click Dashboard and see the status of each position that you applied for and the date that the status was last updated. The speed of the process can vary for different positions so it helps to be patient with the process. For some, it could take days, weeks, or even months. It helps to stay optimistic while being on the lookout for communication from Southwest regarding interviews or any other updates for your application.

Early Bird does, in fact, work.
"EarlyBird Check-In® Customers will have their boarding positions reserved beginning 36 hours prior to their flight's scheduled local departure time. Boarding Passes can be accessed beginning 24 hours prior to the flight's scheduled local departure time." (https://www.southwest.com/help/booking/earlybird-checkin)
The system automatically reserves your boarding position 36 hours prior to departure, but you can only 'check-in'/retreive your boarding pass 24 hours before.
Hope that helps clear things up, but yes, you did get Early Bird according to what you described.

From my understanding, Closed Complete means that the position has been filled and review of applicants has completed. I’m sure many more opportunities will come your way! Never give up! It might take weeks, months, or even years to land a position at SWA but trust me - it’s worth the wait, and if it’s destined to happen, it will happen!

Not sure if this will help but typically refreshing the page, changing the browser, or changing even the device you’re on could fix this issue. Are you trying to apply for the credit card? I know that one of the applications is on a non-SWA website (mychasecreditcards website).

Hey all!
On a flight right now (the SWA Community can be accessed through inflight wifi without purchasing internet) and I was wondering what your favorite drinks are that are on Southwest’s menu? A lot of them are back!
I didn’t know that you could ask them to blend drinks until recently so now I’m a fan of Cranberry Juice + Ginger Ale.

Since this is a customer forum, I’m not sure if we can get you a definite answer about this. I would speak to your point-person/supervisor/recruiter to see if they are able to get a definite answer for you. Generally, I believe the answer is yes as long as this is anticipated and communicated in advance. It’s encouraged that you don’t take time off during your probation period but sometimes a conflict as big as a graduation can occur - I’m sure that Southwest will be accommodating! (don’t quote me on that, though 😂)
Congrats on graduating and good luck at training!

No - once a fund is issued as a travel credit, the fund will remain valid for travel on Southwest only and will be honored until its expiration date, usually a year from the date of purchase. During early 2020, Southwest did extend the expiration date for travel credits, although such extension was stopped a while ago.

The port of entry/customs at Hobby airport is quick - you definitely should be able to make it! Southwest is the only airline that customs serves at Hobby so you can expect relatively quick service. As a reminder, after clearing customs, the customs exit is in the ground transportation area, meaning that you will have to go through TSA security/re-check any bags for the second domestic leg of your trip.

You'll find a measuring box like this at the airport:
The box itself does consider the wheels to be a part of the dimensions of the bag. The same goes for the overhead bins as well. Personally, I would make sure that the entire suitcase, including wheels, matches those dimensions for it to be a carry-on. I'm sure there may be some leeway when it comes to the dimensions, but I would try to not be in that gray area. I don't think Southwest agents will physically measure your bag, but the overhead bins do only have a limited amount of space and you want to make sure your bag fits completely.

Usually in this case a travel voucher will appear in your RR account (although I could be wrong) - can’t speak for this specific instance but mechanical issues do occur at times and situations like this do occur.
Customer service representatives feel the same way you do - they really do not want to inconvenience you but sometimes the stress brought on by the pandemic and additional delays/cancellations also affect them too.

I'm not sure if anyone in the community can provide you with a definite answer to that question, however, it is not unlikely for Southwest to add additional flights or routes during the summer months to their already existing schedule. I would check every so often and if a new and better flight is listed, change my flight to that one. Personally, I would say the answer is yes (given restrictions being loosened), as the schedule is not really official/finalized/no-changes would be made until about a couple of weeks before departure.

Yep! Adding on to that, they have Tourist Cards on-hand at the airport as well and they should also have them on the plane, although the ones on the plane do run out quickly. I would recommend filling it out online as @TheMiddleSeat said - all the customs agent has to do is scan the form and it'll save you much time at the airport. The customs hall at some airports in Mexico can be extremely crowded during heavy travel times (afternoon). Lucky for you, as of March 2022, the Mexican Government is no longer requiring passengers to fill out the health declaration, so all you would need is a passport, visa (if applicable), and the Mexican tourist card. Yay!
One more handy piece of advice (from personal experience) - do not lose the tourist card after entering Mexico. You will need the other part of the form to exit the country. Your airline will require you to surrender it upon exiting, and it could result in hefty fines if you don't have it with you.
Safe travels!
