You don’t need to clarify, it was clear.
A-list members without A Numbers should be in front of family boarding.
If you see a “situation” developing just work your way up to the front or jump in at “A61” and ask “A-list?” and you should be good.

I am flying alone with my toddler soon, and I was hoping to fly with our Wonderfold Wagon W2 Elite. I didn't know if it was too big and I needed to get something smaller, or if I could gate check it when we board. I also didn't know if I needed to buy a cover for it, or if I can just gate check it without a cover. Thank you in advance!
I don't think a cover is ever required for gate checking items but it would be up to your preference if there ended up being some scuffing or if a cover would help keep it collapsed and safe during handling.

Of course I registered for this, awesome. But in the conditions it says "Earn double Rapid Rewards® points when you register by 1/14/2024, book between 1/12/2024 and 1/14/2024, and fly by 5/22/24."
I've got business flights booked out through April, do I need to cancel and rebook using flight credits to meet that 'book between 12Jan24 and 14Jan24' requirement? Seriously, not gonna happen.
Mainly because it says "book between" if the promotion doesn't require that then it would be open but based on what you've shown here the previously booked flights wouldn't count for it.

You may also be able to use the kiosk without the hard sell from the agent.

Yes, you can create a booking using the funds and then when you cancel it the result is one combined travel credit.

On your outbound flight you will have your bags checked to the final destination. On the return flight , US Customs regs require you to retrieve your bags, and recheck them. I'm not familiar with how that's done in Fll, but at most airports you dothat within the area where you pick up your bags. I presume that is how it;s done at FLL.
My only time through FLL international was from Nassau, and they do pre-clearance there so I never got to see the customs area at FLL.
PUJ I don't think has preclearance yet but it has been discussed, so OP should get to claim, go through customs, and re-check at FLL's customs area on the way home to BWI.

So i got the two chase cards and hoping to get the credit card spending bonus points to hit this year and get the companion pass. sadly, i messed up on one of the credit cards and overspent. is there anyway to salvage this mistake? i am sure i am not the only one.
i got the personal and one of the southwest business cards. there is a second business card. if i get that, can i also qualify for the spending bonus again?
any tips that you have is greatly appreciated. thanks!
Sure - if you fly a bit you can earn lots of points. Try to strategically upgrade to Business Select to get 12x points instead of 6x with Wanna Get Away.
Rocketmiles or use Southwest Hotels.
Here are many other ways to earn points:
End of Year - Tier Qualifying Points (southwest.com)
Its normal to earn it later in the year which a bonus can help achieve.
I think you have to wait 24 months before you can get a sign-up bonus again from a personal and business card but someone else will have to weigh in if the other business card would work again so soon.

One segment. It's only two segments if you change planes.
Also, SInce you will be on what is called a direct flight, you will be able to change seats when the plane makes it's first stop.
The price would include the total benefit think of it per boarding pass - for each boarding pass you have you want to get upgraded - in this case you'll only have the one boarding pass.

Today they've posted a 6X points bonus for the SW Credit Cards up to $500 SW purchases. Does the $500 limit typically apply to each credit card if you have both a personal and business card? For example, if I use the personal card for $500 and the business card for $500 purchases on SW, do we get the promotional bonus (3000 points) for both cards? OR is the total limit of $500 applied across both cards?
The fine print that I'm seeing is that it is across all cards together:
*To be eligible for this bonus offer, you must register between 1/8/2024 12:00 a.m. ET and 1/14/2024 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Promotional Period”). During the Promotional Period you will qualify for and earn a total of 6 Rapid Rewards®points for each $1 spent with any Rapid Rewards Credit Card, on up to $500.00 in total purchases, made directly with Southwest Airlines®, including flight, inflight, Southwest® gift card, Rapid Rewards Points Center, and on Southwest Vacations® packages ("Qualifying Purchases"). That's 4 bonus points on top of the 2 points already earned on Qualifying Purchases made with the Rapid Rewards Plus or Employee Credit Cards, or 3 bonus points on top of the 3 points already earned on Qualifying Purchases made with a Rapid Rewards Priority or Premier Credit Card, or 2 bonus points on top of the 4 points already earned on Qualifying Purchases made with a Rapid Rewards Performance Business Credit Card, or 5 bonus points made with any remaining Rapid Rewards Credit Cards.

They only had MIA since 2020 so you shouldn't miss that one too much.
I'm a little surprised there isn't more LGA/FLL available though.
LGA is so constrained they must be seeing some higher fares on other routes that end up using all the slots.
A one-stop in BWI or elsewhere along the eastern coast wouldn't be so bad though. Avoid any connections through DAL or DEN though. 😂 unless your username is @bec102896

I don't think there is enough traffic to take from United to make it worthwhile.
Taking people from OMA is great except if those are already Southwest customers then it doesn't make sense to spend a bunch of money to start a station at LNK if the passengers are already using OMA.
Your other point driving an hour to OMA - that's about how far I have to go time-wise living in the Chicago suburbs to get to MDW. I'd consider hour-long trip to the airport to be normal for many cities.
As @5280Av8r pointed out the key here would be identifying what the best point to point route would be - where are people from LNK going now that they have trouble going on United?
Otherwise Southwest would likely connect this location to Denver and Houston the same as United does.

Two free checked bags, no change fees, overall very flexible network among the locations - i.e. often there are multiple routes to get somewhere.
Then once I was a regular A-list and companion pass have been great additional benefits.
Cost is often a little bit lower than what I would buy from the other guys as well when including a checked bag.
Personally I've found customer service to be very good. There will always be hiccups in air travel, for any airline.

We are flying from Orlando to Columbus with my 3 year old and my 6 month old. My 3 year old has Leukodystrophy and uses a specific supportive stroller as his wheelchair as we're waiting for his custom chair to be built currently. He cannot walk, stand, or sit unassisted. Most strollers do not offer the support he needs, so I can't just buy a cheap one when we arrive at our destination or anything if his gets broken.
I want to make sure that his chair is stowed on the plane in wheelchair stowage and NOT in the cabin as I'm afraid it will get broken and we'll be up the creek with no way to transport him. However, since it's technically a stroller, I'm worried that they'll say no / that "real" wheelchairs have priority.
Is there a way to ensure that we will be able to utilize that space for his chair?
Can you clarify the question whether you want the chair in the cabin with you, or if it would be gate checked to the destination?
If gate checked do you have any bag for it?

My last flight for this year was Christmas Day earlier this week. I had planned to take a day trip to finish that final leg this week but unfortunately fell ill. Today, I looked into flights within the next 2 days and while I was seriously considering it, it is simply too costly to fly anywhere this weekend from my home airport.
All that said, has anyone experienced anything similar? What did you end up doing? Has anyone experienced a "challenge" akin to what one of the representatives described?
In all honesty, I am just yearning for some comfort knowing that I will lose my A-List status that I have benefitted from tremendously over the past few years. And as I am writing this, I am realizing this may ultimately result in me finally moving on to another airline, as my friends and family have fervently encouraged me to do so the past few years. *sigh*
I just wanted to make sure was that trip that you canceled the second leg a round trip or one-ways? If it was a round trip then you may have one more flight in the bank, but you'll have to call and break the trip apart into two separate legs so that the first one can be processed. This should be retro-active, flights flow in a calendar year count for that year. I'd go back and count the up separately from your tracker and see.
Second issue - no spending won't do anything for you except some tier qualifying points from spending, but it sounds like you aren't close on points basis, so forget all of those suggestions anyway. A-List is great but you wouldn't want to spend thousands chasing it.
Third issue you most likely will be given some sort of challenge offer early next year to woo you back - as you mentioned in your last point you will be a free agent and it is everyone's best interest to get you back on the A-list.
Also print out a screenshot of your status now tonight while you still have it, so you can do a status match with whichever other airline you like second best just in case.

You can have two items - so if you have a cushion and a personal item you in effect have two personal items.
You can have two personal items, but not two carry-on luggage items. (i.e. not supposed to put two items in the overhead.)
