The card owner gets the points; in other words, if the card is in her name, the points go in her RR account. That said, you can be an additional card holder and spend on the card, but they still will post to her account. The opposite can also happen: get the card in your name and add her as an additional card holder, and you will get the points. What is your specific goal?

And the good news is that if you book for the now-higher price and fares do come down, Southwest allows you to keep the difference in the form of Travel Funds. This is a perk you won’t find elsewhere, and it is one of the reasons I love SW so much. Also, and this is just strictly my opinion, I don’t think that $45 fares are sustainable. I would be happy for $99 fares to anywhere!

Great news! I too have a ton of travel funds, and I need to consider how much of it I will convert to points. Glad to have this option!

What you were seeing is totally normal, and it was just the AC. Read all about it here: Fog in Your Airplane Cabin? No Worries, It’s Cool (Literally) I can totally understand reacting weirdly to the scene, though. That happened to me the first time I ever saw this happen! You can learn all about what SW is doing from a COVID cleanliness perspective here: Southwest Promise If you would like additional information directly from the airline, you can use the Contact Us methods below. This is a customer community. Hope this helps!

@tappingmom1 You have the right idea by always going back to you actual booking in your account! But I def get how scary incorrect emails can be. If you have the time, please report the specific issue directly to SW so that they are aware and can investigate. I would perhaps pass a screenshot on to the Twitter or FB teams via private message. Hopefully, these issues will be resolved, and when in doubt, you can always reach out to SW directly via one of the Contact Us methods below.

Def a difficult situation. I understand that SW is doing all it can to preserve and drive business and also protect it's employees. I appreciate what they continue to do related to this situation, but I know that I don't trust anyone else to clean for me. When I fly again, I'll be bringing all my own cleaning supplies to take matter into my own hands. That takes the measures SW is already taking one step further.

It could be that either they removed non-stops for your route, so they moved you to connecting through FL, or there are non-stops but not ones close to your originally scheduled time. Either way, you have choices; I would make the desired changes as soon as possible.

@Rschmitt34 Thank you for your service. As has been said, I do believe the best course of action here would be to first contact SW with an explanation of your situation. The social media channels work well. If that does not work, you should definitely convert the funds to points so that they can be used or others or yourself at a later time.

I'm afraid that Southwest is not the airline for you if you are looking for first class. All of SW's planes have one class of service. The best you might get is what is jokingly referred to as "Southwest First Class," which is the exit row. Check out SW's site for a good summary of SW and why they are great. Also, check out the Knowledge Base here for lots of info for things like boarding, ticketing, etc. Even without First Class, I hope you find the SW experience to be awesome! #luv
