I can't find a recent, concrete answer on this...We have two LUV vouchers that expire Dec 8, 2024. We are 50/50 on taking a trip in November 2024.
1. If we end up booking flights in Nov with these LUV vouchers and end up NOT taking the trip (or changing the trip), will they be refunded to travel funds without expiration dates or will they still have the expiration date of Dec 8th?
All trvel funds have no epiration date.
2. And just to be clear, you can use a LUV voucher for anyone (not just the person it was issued to but a refund could only be used by the person whose name was on the ticket for the used LUV voucher?
That is correct. If a WGA+ flight is refunded it comes witha trasfeerable flfight credit.
If it's a WGA ticket it is not trasferable.
3. And lastly...anyone know if the current promotion of booking two one way tickets (or a roundtrip) by today would qualify with booking with LUV vouchers?
They sure do.
ith money qualifies.
Thanks!

If your itinerary has two flight numbers, you would hav to pay twice.
If instead you have a flight that stops and then continues on (one flight nubmer) you would only pay once.

Bird strikes are bad.
Back in the old days, at the Boeing 737 assembly plant in Renton, Washington, the line workers would bring their shot guns to work. At lunch time, they would walk out of the factory down to the edge of the marsh and slaughter birds.
Bird strikes are a significant issue. Historically, Boeing 737 workers in Renton, Washington, would use shotguns during lunch breaks to control bird populations near the assembly plant, reducing the risk of bird strikes.
Which is probsbly a much more accurate rendering of history than that which was posted in the initial poat.

There is no way to know who stole the belt.
Was it Southwest employees at MCI or DAL? .or.
Was it TSA employees at either airport? .or.
Maybe it was airport employees at MCI or DAL.
Since TSA is the organization that is specifically allowed to sift thru your belongings, maybe you should start by filing a complaint with TSA

When the airline changes your flight, it allows you a no charge change to something that suits you better.
If you can;t do it on line, call the airline to make the change.

The other option might be to just cancel your reservstion and have the child listed as a minor that is tied to your wife's resevztion.
Not sure exactly how that would be done. Call SS for advice.

My alternate carrer is United and my experience is 180 degrees different than yours.
Here's who United lets prebowrd
1) Regular pre-boarders
2) Military
3) Families with kids
Lots more pre boartders than SW and a much more chaotic pre boarding process.

Instant rejects seldom mean you are not qualified.
They could mean
1) You have to live in a certain state -- and you say you don't live in that state
2) Indicate you are willing to attend training in(insert city name) and you say you are not willing
Those are the types of things that result in an instant reject.

What happens is that both the airlines and TSA look to see if there is pattern of theft somewhere, and if there is, then that place gets increased vigilance to try to stop the problem.
One offs -- not so much.

Southwest is not condoning anything.
Neither party is going to do a whole lot about a $25 theft.
to calibrate you, earlier this year I had a check stolen and cashed for $8000 -- and the Chicago police did absolutely nothing about it.

Don;t know if fares are increased, but it would not surprise me that you might be tracked.
IMO two ways around it
1) use a VPN
2) Periodically delete cookies.
If SW fares are not good, you might want to see what the other guys are charging.
