I applied on the careers website of SWA .. after applying for the position 10 minutes later I got an invitation to have a virtual interview and after getting interviewed I got a CJO.  you guys might get the schedule for the interview before the hiring event arrives .. ... It will take some time, they are also working on former employees as well. it took me to 4 months before I got get official date for first day training. I had to get after former southwest employee clearance before interview then backgrounds 3 months then month after sending  my convid 19 vaccination card which final step and former Southwest employee evaluation. 4 months passed before I got official starting date ... They send a letter I think too. At least I received a letter stating they hadn’t chose me and had closed the job opening or something along those lines.  but in the case they do not send you a letter for you don’t see it, your status will say closed complete under that application like stated above.  good luck and if it doesn’t happen keep applying.  ... Okay, so I got the email from the system that my background check is complete (form letter mail not personalised to me specifically). Then....?? Nothing. It says that my recruiter will be in contact, I've had a different recruiter for each of these steps so not really sure who. Is this what it was like for all recently hired cohearts? Was this your 1st interview ( phone interview) or your VI? I emailed my recruiter right after my not so great VI. She responded the next day helping me understand the  hiring process. Good luck. With my background check, someone at some point input my social incorrectly which made my check all wonky. SWA contacted me directly to ask if the information was correct. I'm going to assume if there are slight inconsistencies with yours someone would reach out. But I agree that you should reach out to Sterling to make any corrections needed. Good luck! ... View more
