I believe what this means is if you changed from a non stop to a flight with a layover there is a segment tax and a facility usage fee (for each airport on the reservation) I believe that is the taxes you would pay. -Blake

Would B46 be high enough to get 2 seats together? You could fly with your child and your husband could sit separately. I don't see how that would be a great hardship. My wife flew with our 6 year old daughter to Bahrain and back in March, and I flew with her to Capetown (connecting in Doha) with my daughter in June. Those are much further trips than anything SWA does, and no one was hurt by the lack of a second parent.

@DfDrPepper_23 I don’t work for the airline so I don’t know why mobile wallet functionality was unavailable. I do know technology is not perfect so at times things break. The airline fixed the issue to most that's all that matters and Southwest did inform customers of the issue (other airlines would make you call and wait on hold for an hour or longer to find out there is a glitch). If you would like an official answer from Southwest directly you can reach out by clicking on the “contact us” link at the bottom of the page. -Blake

@byrdbrain591 More of like download reading material or movie to watch. Comedy should be of first choice. For instance: Jeff Foxworthy along with his comedy partners. It should be more of relaxing atomsphere whilist on flight. This is my best choice.

To check on the status of your applications, please visit https://corporatecareers-southwest.icims.com/ and log in using the email and password you used to apply for a job. Here is the SeatGuru (third party site) link for the seat map with comments and reviews from other passengers. @bec102896 you're thinking of the right one: https://seatguru.com/airlines/Southwest_Airlines/Southwest_Airlines_Boeing_737-700_new.php @byrdbrain591 I'll also echo the thoughts that EarlyBird *probably* won't get you the worm here (seat 12A) but you never know.

The best part of this entire thread is the OP somehow getting a boarding assignment of "C62." I hope you framed that boarding pass! Despite the one other recent poster having a somewhat similar run of bad luck, there's no conspiracy here. Your boarding position is assigned based on a variety of factors already outlined. If you 'wait' to check in and you don't have A-List, EB, etc., you are all but guaranteed to get a C position. There are exceptions: mainly when flights are not 100% full. There have been times when I forgot to check in for a few hours, got a C, and was able to manage an aisle seat. Rare, but it happens. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones 😉 --Jessica

TTRAVEL - Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We were made aware of the issue at the beginning of last week. It was affecting a small amount of our Customers (unfortunately you/your office was one), and was resolved on Friday morning (10/4/19). We are truly sorry for the inconvenience and hope that everything is working as expected at this time.

Posts like this always puzzle me. I wonder what exactly 'happened' 3 years ago to an individual / family to make Southwest issue over $1,000 worth of vouchers. Missed connection? Missed flight? Something else? Considering your user name is 'upset mom of three', I am willing to bet the farm that the compensation had something to do with your kids. You had an entire year to use the funds, that's plenty of time. Sorry, but without more detail regarding your situation, I am not very sympathetic to whatever issue you or your family might have suffered, especially considering you are complaining about it now, on a public forum, 3 years later. --Jessica

I think the only thing they do now is give out plastic wings. You can reach out in advance to SW, but definitely let the flight attendant know when you board the plane! Good luck!

Just fly more often and you won't have to worry about it. Get A-List with 25 segments and your EB fee days are gone!

If you scroll to the bottom part of the careers web site there is a category for "Flight Attendants and Inflight Operations", clicking takes you to the following page but there aren't any jobs posted there as of right now: https://careers.southwestair.com/c/flight-attendants-inflight-operations-jobs

Hey, sorry I'm late to the conversation. Yes, this is a known issue. The system apparently knocks a day off each time you make a change. This can be an issue when you're cutting things close. Luckily, a call to Customer Relations can help.

Yes he can obtain his boarding pass and get updates on his RR account. I also recommend you put his contact info for day of travel info so they can text, email, or call him with any major changes. *Be sure when booking his ticket using your RR points that you put all of his information (DOB, Gender, name, and his RR number) it will be auto populated with your information. -Blake

Agreed. Frontier's regular coach seats --combined with their crazy-tight seat pitch and joke of a tray-table -- make for an awful experience for any flight over an hour. When I fly Frontier (often now, due to Southwest abandoning almost all non-stops CLE-LAS) I choose the Stretch seats, which are actually quite comfortable and have great legroom. And even with bag fees and full refundability (I choose the "Works" package) the total fare is usually less than a connecting flight on Southwest. I personally would never choose a "regular" Frontier seat, but there are definitely certain passengers for whom the price point is convincing and/or the only option. Carriers like Frontier and Spirit have taken over that section of the market, once dominated by Southwest, as Southwest moves away from low cost and more into becoming a legacy carrier.

Okay I see how to create a multi-city one-way booking: On the booking page click "Advanced Search" Select the "Multi-city" radio button Enter BUF as departure city, OAK as desination 1, and HNL as destination 2 Click "Search" Select flights Check out and pay I'm still not able to figure out how to modify and add a flight but hopefully this gets the original poster, @Alktraveler, an option to book on one reservation.

In regards to the nonstops to Vegas disappearing, you can add me to that list, as nonstops from PHL to LAS went away this year (2019). My last nonstop was booked in October 2018. I just make do and book flights with stops. To the previous poster: I can't believe not having a nonstop flight would stop you from going to Vegas altogether! Not me, I love Vegas too much lol. But I believe these flight consolidations, at least this year's, are obviously due to the MAX 8 grounding issues. --Jessica
