H&D called out specifically in the table as eligible if the purchase completes in 2021, although the processing of that may be 6-8 weeks so you wouldn't necessarily have the CP issued in January if that happens to be when some of your flights are taking place.

Even though it's an exit row, saving that middle doesn't seem to bristle people too much. Saving the whole row though will be some definite stink-eye, but that's not what you were describing.

My statement ends 12/3/2021 (3 weeks from now). When can I reapply for this case again and be eligible for the new 100k RR points offer, since this offer ends 12/7/2021? Chases T&Cs state: "The product is not available to either (i) current Cardmembers of any Southwest Rapid Rewards® Credit Card, or (ii) previous Cardmembers of any Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Card who received a new Cardmember bonus within the last 24 months. This does not apply to Cardmembers of the Southwest Rapid Rewards Business Card and Employee Credit Card products. I read that to mean that as long as it's been at least 24 months since you got your last sign up bonus AND you no longer have a Chase SW card, you are eligible.

A couple things. My guess is that you're wanting to sit next to each other so one of you will be in the middle seat so if you were to buy EBCI, buy it for one and then just saved the middle seat since no one will complain about a saved middle seat.
Secondly, I bought EBCI just for me on the trip I'm on right now and for the first time ever, my wife got checked in 1 spot after me for some reason on both legs of the trip. Not sure why.

It will depends on the flight attendants how they will treat your 2 year old. However it seems that flight attendants get some kind of satisfaction making a big deal about 2 year olds not wearing a mask. I saw flight attendants making big deal of a young child not having a mask on while he was asleep, and not saying anything to an adult man who had mask under his chin almost entire flight. One thing you can try to do is to get a mask exemption document from your son's pediatrician for the flight.

Okay, he's right for 2000 points. The sale is only on larger quantities. Then they get down to 1.6 cents. My bad. And the cost in points you're quoting does not include the taxes, which is why it seems so cheap. 8000 points is worth about $140. So you may pay $50 in taxes plus the points, or around $200 cash. Either way it seems cheap and you want to consume the points either way. The nice thing is further cost reductions go back to the buyer's points, not to travel funds tied to each traveler. So there's no risk purchasing now.

My understanding is that your companion can have ANY available seat - regardless of price.. To check on how many seats are available, pretend you are looking to book a flight for 8 people. If the flight is not sold out, that means at least 8 (maybe more) seats are available for the flight.

I think you are already on your trip, but SW's site says: Southwest Employees may ask for age verification at any point within the Customer journey, so Customers should travel with a copy or original of any government-issued ID, such as a birth certificate or passport, for their Lap Child. They will absolutely accept pictures of the document, and I have found they are very lenient, especially if the child is tiny. Worst case, you can take anything that shows the child's birthdate. I think you will be fine, but -- of course -- SW is within their rights to enforce the rules. Hopefully whatever you will be able to provide will work. Good luck!

I'd encourage you to confirm your email settings in your SW account. My Account > Profile > Communications. You should also check your SPAM, of course -- which you prob have. Additionally, you can add southwestairlines@ifly.southwest.com to your safe senders list. This is the email from which confirmations come. Good luck!

I don't have any suggestions to improve, You could let SW customer relations know about it https://community.southwest.com/t5/Knowledge-Base/Submitting-a-Suggestion-and-or-Complaint/ta-p/8724...

@gsking wrote: If they changed your flight, you should have 72 hours to change the flight with no added charge. I'm guessing you missed that window? If you are unable to make the change online, you can always call -- regardless of the 3-day window. Also, in my experience the window for online changes is often larger than 72 hours, sometimes up to a week. But this varies widely, seemingly for no apparent reason.

Did the dollar for dollar credit reflect on your account or was it just a percentage of the $75 credit. Most tickets are over 75 dollars so if this is true this card is the best of the 3 to purchase. Am I correct?

I'm a big fan of Southwest, but when I run in to this situation, I fly the other guy. That being said, all airlines price tickets for what they think they will sell for. So, that's what is going on. If ticket sales turn out to be slower than expected, Southwest has been know to drop prices. You could watch to see what happens.

Officially, here is what SW says about lap child IDs: "Bring a government-issued ID, such as a birth certificate or passport, for infants and toddlers flying as lap children." Do you have a photo of the birth certificate? We have always just used that instead of the actual document.
