I have the same question. I receive a very specific number if “action based bonus” points of 3,624. This is in addition to the posting of points from my credit card statement that included individual bonuses on internet purchased, Rapid Rewards partner, Southwest Travel. The only thing I think it could be are the 25% bonus on all credit card purchases associated with A-List membership. But I can’t re-calculate the number of bonus points by applying 25% to any number I see on any statement.. But if this isn’t the 25% bonus, I don’t know what ir is.

Still having the same problem. Clearing browser cache did not resolve.
I'm on a new Macbook. Purchased Internet, used internet (which was awesome flying to Hawaii) but now I want to get back to the movies. Have tried southwestwifi.com and getconnected.southwestwifi.com but they just direct me to https://www.southwest.com/inflight-entertainment-portal/
I've disconnected from the wifi network, turned off wifi and back on. I tried using Safari which I had not used during my internet access and it has the same issue. Going to turn my laptop off, have a drink and try again later.

Not trying to bully anyone, but I wouldn't consider any refund outside of the policy that I've established. SWA and many other companies worked and tried to do what they could during a crazy time of our lives, but they, or anyone, could guarantee everyone was going to be satisfied. Not just with airlines, but other issues and services as well I had to bite the bullet and move on. No, I wasn't happy, but I've not tried to make others feel bad as like with SWA, there were policies in place that I didn't take the time to fully go over and it's my fault. I hope this is just a minor blip in your life and you can move on and maybe I will see you on a future flight, if not, good, I have an empty middle seat.

I definitely understand the frustration. My biggest issue would be that of price because it doesn't seem to reflect that of a low cost airline. Now a lot of that is due to higher fuel costs right now, so I can give a little slack. As far as the delays and cancelations, all airlines are being affected by weather, pilot/staff shortages, among other things. So, Southwest isn't the only one affected here. Don't forget we're still on our way out of a pandemic. People are still getting sick, so there's going to be callouts.
As far as "Other airlines offer a wider range of nonstop flights and red eye flights!" I will definitely agree with you on the redeye flights and hopefully they're in Southwest's future. As for the nonstop flights, that is true to a degree, but really only if you include long-haul and the regionals (SkyWest, Envoy Air, ExpressJet, etc). Comparing just the domestic mainline networks, Southwest has more airports with more service than most of the legacy carriers. American has the most number of hubs at 10, which means for the most part, on a legacy carrier, you're not going to have service to more than 10 airports unless it's from their hub (American - 10 hubs; Delta - 9 hubs; United - 7 hubs). On Southwest, you can get service to at least 10 airports from a whopping 50 airports! Now some of these are on a more seasonal basis, but that's still a lot of airports with at least 10 nonstop destinations on Southwest. And there's even a lot with service to 8 or 9 airports, not to mention, Southwest has the most nonstop service to Cancun and San Jose del Cabo in Mexico.

"In order to provide a top-notch WiFi experience, we prohibit access to certain high-bandwidth applications and websites, including NetFlix, HBO GO, and telephony applications (VoIP.)"
I'm going to say that in today's world, there are going to be those of us left behind with the technology curve. It doesn't matter if it's by purpose or lack of IQ, you should always consider providing all forms of wording and language so we knuckleheads of the world really understand what you're saying.
Let me say, your reply does merit it being a solution. But one of the focus topics was ZOOM, a simple and common word even this dummy knows. But you put down telephony applications (VoIP) I had no idea what that means until another post spelled it out...."you're on ZOOM, which is still a VoIP."
I'm not knocking you, I'm just letting you know some of us still need it explained like we are two year olds. Sorry, and great answer. Hopefully better bandwidth or whatever to allow for these types of access or commonplace. NO, not at the expense of the rest of the users on flight.

If you are still within the window to do so, you could protest the charge to your credit card company.
You may want to protest via e-mail. You might receive a voucher good for future travel in return. To proceed click on "contact us" below to continue.

Right. That's why I said it doesn't help with full flights.
But if it's an empty flight, they will give you the seat... then you can add the companion.

If your husband is a big guy and would spill in to the next seat he could take advantage of the customer of size policy where he can get a 2nd seat for no charge and it would get him pre boarding and more room however just being tall won’t qualify him for the policy.
if he is just tall then that’s not a reason to preboard. If he has a medical reason then yes he could preboard.

Success! It pays to go to the top! I received an email from Southwest today saying that they reviewed my webform and my email to Gary Kelly and found that an error was made. They rectified the error and I now have A-list status until the end of the year! Happy that they finally did the right thing and I can continue to feel good about flying Southwest.

I flew on United last year, and the flight crew was constantly going up and down the aisle, reminding people to pull up their masks. Announcing is not enforcing. I fly pretty much every week, and I never hear flight attendants address individuals about masks. I certainly never hear anything after takeoff.

I have a dilemma, I bought a flight to participate in this promotion. Only problem is that the flight that I bought out of Love Field was cancelled the morning of. It made us miss our son's game that we were going to see, so we had to cancel the trip. I guess that excluded me from the promo. SWA was very apologetic and even sent us $100 vouchers as an apology. The problem is, we missed out on the companion pass promo, I guess. I went online to book it this morning and it wasnt to be found. Can someone help me? I feel like we missed this promo on a "technicality". This seems like it could be easily rectified.

Anyone reading a post can mark the post as a solution -- ANYONE.
I was hoping to receive objective information, backed by written policy and or procedure in response to my questions (below), however, I received subjective responses, relative ideological responses., etc. Can someone provide an objective response to my question in this community?
How is the FA to know that you are an old pro that knows everything there is to know?
The FA is given the duty of making sure that exit row occupiers know exactly what to do in the event a plane goes down and people have to get off the thing.
Failure to do so can result in deaths. You don;t need a policy to understand that -- just a bit of common sense

You shouldn't have any problems once you're in the US, but Canada has its own set of requirements to re-enter the country. According to Canada's travel page, it sounds like you need to be vaxxed to be exempt from testing or if you are unvaxxed there is a whole other set of procedures to follow including testing negative and even quarantine to re-enter Canada:
https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/covid-vaccinated-travellers-entering-canada
Unvaccinated - Entering Canada by air or at a land border crossing
Meet these requirements if you are eligible to enter Canada, and do not qualify for the fully vaccinated traveller exemption, or other special exemptions for your situation.
Find out if you can enter Canada
Assess your quarantine plan before you travel
Get your pre-entry molecular test result
Register in advance for your arrival test
Use ArriveCAN to submit your travel and quarantine plans
Have your ArriveCAN receipt, test results, and quarantine plans ready for assessment by a Border Services Officer
Medical conditions that prevent you from being vaccinated
Unvaccinated travellers over the age of 12 are not required to quarantine upon entering Canada if they meet the following conditions:
have a medical contraindication for getting a COVID-19 vaccine, and
comply with the public health measures outlined in the handout provided to them at the border

I found an interesting new data point. As stated in the article, the new fare will be slotted between WGA and Anytime, and it would not take anything away from any other fare class. Apparently, Southwest also says that they will be increasing the benefits tied to BS, Anytime, and WGA fares. Okay, now I'm truly stumped. If they had said "enhancing", I'd jokingly say that it was a euphemism, but the word used was "increasing".

Summarizing: Likely only curbside check in closed. You will probably have the option to tag the bag yourself, but you will hand it to someone at the baggage desk. If you need assistance, you can go thru that line/option as well. More here on baggage check hours. If you have one ticket for the whole trip, you bag will be tagged at check in to your final destination, and you will not have to pick it up in MDW...as was shared below. Happy flying!

I’ve flown my qualifying segments as of 10/31/21 and had 4 different SW reps tell me I’ve qualified for A List renewal for ‘22. Yet, my account has not been updated to reflect it. Just this morning, I was told that they see in my record that I’ve qualified, but that no one’s will show up until a system-wide update on 12/31. Obviously, that’s false based on what some have written on this thread. I’m concerned because I have one more (expensive!) flight in ‘21 I can convert from a points to a paid business class fare to qualify. The rep this morning said I “absolutely do not need to do that.” Thoughts from those more experienced than I in dealing with Southwest?
