That's unfortunate! Yeah I suppose that lady did not know that Southwest policy has everything they find sent to the Alabama Processing Unit after 24 hours for valuable items. The best bet for things like that are to have someone come to the airport and get it before that time is up but she assured you it would be there Sunday. Now I would say you should wait and see if it turns up, especially if you gave the number on it there could be a chance they find it.   Here's their policy. If its found you'll get an email that the case is closed and the item is found    "After the form is successfully submitted, you will get an e-mail stating that the report has been received, and the hunt for the missing item will begin. You won’t have to worry about checking in with us because we will periodically send e-mail updates regarding the status of the search for up to 30 days.  If we haven’t been able to reunite you with your lost item on day 30, we’ll send an e-mail letting you know that we’ve been unfortunately unable to locate the item and have ended the search." ... Yeah I have had a variety of experiences with the amount of alcohol I get, more so with the rum. It might have to do with the amount they had per drink or just who is pouring. I have also heard from flight attendants that if someone has had many drinks and asks for another one it will be watered down! ... View more

Do you mean the transbay tube retrofit? To my knowledge this will only affect people going from east bay to sf at 4am, and BART will resume service at 5am. As others have said, Midway actually does not have that many delays! In fact it has some of the least delays! Good idea! Yeah it would be cool if the pre-boarding option would be added at the desk like a corner of the boarding pass where it was noted and the agent said could just check it off when they printed it . This would not be able to happen on an electronic boarding pass or on the kiosks but would make things easier!  ... View more

Hm I suggest checking it on its own just to be safe. I know once you activate it, it slowly evaporates water so there's some ice component before so I say definitely check it by itself. You can also take it up to the counter and ask if you already have two checked bags and would rather not pay extra.  ... View more

Additionally amazon, Netflix, and Hulu allow you to download movies and shows on your phone on tablet etc so you can watch all of them on you’re flight even if you don’t have wifi on the flight  ... View more

If you did make the flight you can always let southwest know in the web site about your experience and let them know what you experienced. I don’t think you will get a refund but you might get some sort of compensation for the time you had to wait so I would suggest to do it!  ... View more

Wow super helpful!    Yeah ah I definitely use this perk a lot because my schedule is so variable or if my the last flight of out LGA is delayed as it often the case and I can take an earlier one that lands at the time I was supposed to. I would also suggest tracking your plane and looking up where it went after. I submitted a lost item note for my IPAD but I also called Atlanta and then Bston which were the next two airports for my plane. They were able to find it in Boston by me calling a couple of times. The lost item note however still said it was lost weeks later so I suggest trying this method. Good luck!  ... View more
