Best thing that's ever happened to MSP. And I was the one that talked it up so much to Herb Kelleher himself. Yet, unhappily, I couldn't land a job as all the applicants here crashed your website.....so that's the bad news. Maybe my dream will come true.....having been downsized from a major airline in my past, I don't count on luck one bit.

I have been flying Southwest Airlines for years. Whenever I board one of Southwest's flights I have this wonderful feeling that I belong to this very "exclusive flying club" and as a member of the club----I get rewarded constantly, by the excellent service provided by Southwest and it's dedicated employees. I fly out of Burbank to the Bay Area- Oakland alot. When the pilot mentions our flying time to Oakland...."""54 minutes from wheels up to wheels down""" I look @ my watch and it's almost , if not right on the money!!!! Damm, you guys are good!

I love you guys. I especially absolutely love the humor in the cabin from the crew. I love to laugh and you make it happen. I don't a lot but when I do I choose S.W. Your the funniest.....Please don't change....
Shhhhh....don't let the other airlines know about the best customer service agents, the best boarding process, the best flight crews, the best behind the scene folks and the free bag thing. Southwest, by far, has figured out the airline business and the commercials, using their own employees, just proves it more. Shhhh...we'll just keep it here within this Luv Circle.
When I have to fly someone else and I'm watching folks trying to fit their baby grand pianos in the overhead bins.....causing takeoffs to be late......I'm wondering..."what were they thinking when they began charging for bags?"
I now have my signifigant other finally flying you. When I pick him up from the airport - he's cracking up at all the funny flight crew stuff that went on. And he luvs the customer service when he has to change flights...which is quite often.
Challenge: Now I dare you to wave that magic Southwest wand and figure out a way to become the most efficient airline to fly to the Bahama Out Islands. If you figure that one out - you will have a monopoly within months.

My livelyhood depends on flying back and forth to work and to see my kids in Louisiana and California. Southwest and I are partners in both. This isn't a customer/Airline thing anymore. This is a partnership. When I have to change my flight plans as many as 4 times sometimes and never incur a change fee that let's me know that they understand! Other airlines would would be in my pocket for $600 for four changes. I recently had to fly on AA because SWA didn't fly there. Those flight attendents gave me the same look they always have in the past. We are number 1 and you are number 2 and you ought to be counting your blessings that we have allowed you to borrow a seat on our plane!! I always dread it and am always elated to get back on my next Southwest flight where they do everything in their power to let me know that I am and always will be number 1!!!

I love Southwest. It is full of comfortable, courteous, enthusiastic, calming, fun-loving airline staff that I have ever encountered. They are very gracious to first-time fliers and make them feel as though they have always flown. I cannot say enough compliments to Southwest for their kind and respectful and professional ways.
I only wish Southwest flew into Santa Barbara. I commute from Phoenix to Santa Barbara on a regular basis to visit my family, especially my granddaughters.
Burbank is the closest place and I will accept that for now.
Fond memories will be with me forever - especially the humor from the announcing flight attendant.
LUV Southwest Airlines. I only fly Southwest. I LUV that you don't charge for luggage and your rates are still lower than your competitors!!! Always on time, very helpful and courteous staff. Just returned from a Southwest Vacation package - everything was wonderful. I hope that one day Southwest starts flying to Europe.
About two years ago I flew southwest to Arizona and met a great gate attendant named Joe who could play the ukelele. Even after a more than two hour delay, the passengers were in great spirits because of Joe. He needs to star in your next commercial....... And if he hasn't been promoted yet, he deserves it!
My family of 12 loves Southwest! Given a choice we will fly SWA every time! I have a boatload of stories of how Southwest goes above and beyond (and how other airlines don't!) We got a free voucher from another airlines, so we reluctantly gave it a try--I wish we hadn't. It was a disaster! So, it's Southwest all the way for us!

When I fly anywhere in USA I fly Southwest, you're the best. But I'm sad when I fly to Costa Rica from Tampa is just 2.30 hours But the rest of the airlines that fly there, take people all over USA before they can make it to there destination (Costa Rica ). Will you please Fly non stop from Tampa to Costa Rica. Love you're Airline.

Used to love to fly Southwest during the 80's. A few months ago when I flew I was sad to see the Airline wasn't the same. My bag was lost along with five other passenger bags. The crews were average nothing I would brag about. When Souhwest was a small airline starting off they had really nice flight attendents that were great. I long for the days when you could walk thru a airport, buy a ticket and just get on board without taking your shoes off and your family could see you off at the gate. I still fly SWA but the glory days are over.
I love Southwest and use it whenever I fly. I had an exceptional experience last September on a non-stop flight PHX to PHL with flight attendant Angela. Along with the usual (for SW) exemplary service, she was very entertaining. She really could be a standup comedienne. There was one very difficult passenger and she handled him like the pro that she was. I was aware only because he was sitting in front of me. I am sure not many people were even aware of the difficulty this man presented. This was the shortest 5-hr flight I was ever on, because of Angela. She was so entertaining that time flew by. I had reading material with me that I never took out of my bag!
I have never encountered a rude or uncaring employee of Southwest Airlines. Angela was even above and beyond their standards.
Kudos to Southwest. Keep up the good work!
I absolutely LOVE Southwest Airlines! Everything about them from their employees good attitudes to the low fares, everything is always consistent. You can always expect the lowest fares and great service from them. Never a problem with Southwest! My 16 year old daughter flew for the first time (alone too) on March 8, 2010 from Nashville to Raleigh and was thrilled, she mentioned the scenery from above but also the friendliness of the attendants on flight 980!
If any of the attendants are from that flight and are reading this, I say Thank you! I knew I could count on you to make her flight enjoyable!
I love Southwest and fly pn it often. On one flight I left my jacket on the plane I checked the next day at lost and found it was not there, and figured I would never see that jacket again. A few weeks later I got a call from Southwest and they had found my car rental receipt in the jacket and tracked me down. I was impressed that an airline would go to that kind of trouble to return a lost jacket to me. You guys are great and Thank you for all your effort
I have flown many other airlines and Southwest is in a league of it's own. No charge for bags, excellent customer service, in addition to excellent prices. This proves you don't have to pay alot to get the best. Southwest is the best.
I laugh at the commericals and think how dumb it is to pay for bags to go with you. Bags? We can't go nude or wear the same cloths all week to meetings! Well. some do. The other airlines are the reason people smell on Friday. Now you know. For 20 plus years I have flown many times a year with Southwest's finest people. None of them smelled!
Just a simple THANKS for keeping me safe to return to my family on Fridays. I can't do more except make another reservation. Let's see now, Southwest.com

As a business traveler I find SWA the absolute best! Price, choice, on time departure and arrival rates are off the charts!! I fly SWA up and down the west coast, and east and west...I don't miss the movie!! Keep up the great work...
I love Southwest! I love the fact that they don't charge for baggage and I love the fact that they're always on time. I fly 2 or 3 times a year and its always Southwest. If the flight is supposed to leave at 7:40, I tell you at 7:40, that plane is backing out of the gate. I check my watch each time I fly and they've never been late in my experience. I fly to Phoenix from Las Vegas every February for a conference and there's always the same flight attendent. I never got her name, but she's a tall blond with glasses and a fantastic sense of humor!! Keep up the great work, Southwest!!!
We fly Southwest 4-5 times a year but lately have not been able to book any good deals between Jacksonville,Fl & Las Vegas,NV. It seems the sale flights are always to places we don't fly. We love to fly SWA because the attendants are very nice and really seem to care about us and are either on time or early. We too have been on a flight with a man and also a woman who sang and told clean jokes. We also love the NO CHECKED BAGGAGE FEES! and online Boarding Passes. We would also like flight service from JAX to Branson and also JAX to Seattle in the near feature. Congratulations on the great jobs your employees do. Thanks

Southwest, keep on doing what you're doing!! "If it ain't broke,don't fix it" really applies here. Our family, like others, will absolutely always fly with Southwest. I am impressed and happy to read that actors were not paid for the commercials, which by the way I love. They are all great! I crack up over the one where the guys cry when seeing the bags depart. I have flown southwest and enjoy my flights. Thanks Southwest!!!
I love this airline and prefer to fly this airline. Many times my 88 year old mom flies with me and SWA is always so accomodating. And sometimes I put my mom on the plane to fly somewhere by herself and I know she is safe flying with Southwest. The only thing I wish SWA would do is start flying into Mexico, such as CanCun, etc - the resort destinations. The flight attendants also make flying SWA fun. They seem to always make me laugh when they are doing the prep prior to takeoff. Every once and awhile you get one that obviously is not having a good day but those are very seldom. Anyway, keep up the good work!
Flew SW a few months ago and had trouble understanding where to stand to Board.
Asked the SW ticket agent and was told to wait for the announcement. I did and he sounded like an auctioneer - could not understand a thing he said. Was told by other passengers where to stand after a few wrong places. Wrote into the customer service e-mail and did not receive a reply.
Like the SW concept, but could be a lot more helpful and friendly.
I LOVE SOUTHWEST ARILINES!!! Thank you for taking my bags for FREE!! You are almost always on time and if you are a little late, you find a way to make up time during flight. Your staff is wonderful!! I only fly once or twice a year, but I always fly Southwest!! I really wish you had nonstop roundtrip flights from El Paso, TX to Detroit, MI so my grandchildren could fly alone to visit me. Keep doing what you are doing, you are the BEST!!!
I love Southwest. Great customer service and ticket prices.
I like that they still aren't charging for bags. I hate flying other airlines that charge for luggage. Now almost every passenger on those airlines are carrying on luggage to try and save money.

Wow a Blog, who would have thought? I cannot say enough about SWA, I would NOT be able to handle the crazy life I have without it!
I live in Sacramento and my husband lives in Arizona ( Yes I know what you are thinking, THE PERFECT MARRIAGE! ) We have done this "Commute" for 13 years on SWA. I am in the Wine Industry and am a Manager of 11 states.. ALL southwest airline states except Alaska and Hawaii. I also have to travel to Chicago and NY on occasion. I do not know what we would do without you guys. I travel on average about 12 flights a month... that's A LOT of time on SWA! I have a 16 year old son in one state and an 18 year old in another, thank goodness for Companion passes! We all meet in the middle at our Tahoe home once in a while. ( Flying into Reno of course on SWA )
We have our CC at SWA and really rack up the free tickets so we can go back and forth at our leisure. I never understand when people say that they cannot ever get a seat with free tickets.. I have NEVER had a problem. I love it when we have a "Lively" flight attendant, it always gets my day started, I hope you encourage them to do the fun speeches they do etc.. it makes for a much better start to a long day.
So all cannot be perfect ( But pretty close ) I had to take a flight out of Seattle and flew another airline.. ( Shhhhh ) well Southwest I have to say I was IMPRESSED! ( the Horror of it!) I flew in those fancy white reclining seats and got spoiled rotten with incredible food and drinks as I sat down, and the flight attendants were pretty hip I must say. But the BEST part? I HAD WIFI !!!!!!!! Do you realize how important that is to a busy executive like myself? I was able to get all of my emails caught up and research what I needed to do by the time I landed. It was the most enjoyable experience I have ever had on a plane!!!
When I returned home I found myself searching THEIR site for other places they fly.. all because of WIFI ! I had booked last minute and it was the same price in First Class as a last minute ticket on SWA. Soooo I really really prefer SWA but without WIFI i am starting to cheat on you! ( I feel so dirty! ) So PLEASE get WIFI as soon as you can on your flights. It will make all the difference in the world to a Business traveler like myself.
I have had people tell me that I should be featured in your magazine because I am a cheerleader of the airline and live on board. I have never seen a Wine Professional featured so when you are ready for a true Southwest Airlines traveler story. Look me up. Imagine the backdrop... Wine Country..... 🙂 Doesn't get better then that!
Southwest Airlines is simply the best! I always feel appreciated when I fly SWA. From the ease of online booking to the simple check in, including no charge for the bags, you make flying fun. I especially appreciate how you allow fliers who need to make changes in their plans at the last minute to "bank" their ticket-less funds for later use on any future travel, rather than take away $150 of those funds and put restrictions on use of whatever is left over like other airlines do. Your service personnel are always friendly and helpful. I always fly Southwest when I have a choice.
Hi Southwest. I wanted to express how great an airline you are. And when I say 'you', I mean the whole Team Southwest. I've been flying Southwest since 1993, maybe not the longest compared to some others, but really appreciate the wonderful people that work for Southwest.
Now that I am considered a senior, I like the discounts that Southwest offers me. I guess there are some advantages of becoming a senior. I still work in sales and enjoy my job, so I will continue to fly Southwest for my job and my wife and I continue to fly Southwest for our nationwide vacations. Can't wait for Southwest to announce flights to either Mexico or the Carribean. Keep up the good work and always remember that a "smile is worth a million dollars". See you next week!!

The SW commercials being played every 5 seconds during the NCAA tournament are horrible....just horrible. Am not biased in any way over airlines but makes me kind of not want to fly SW. Ughhh if I see that commercial one more time I might vomit.

Southwest is definitly the best Airlines out there. We love the no baggage fees and our bags get to their destination too. I fly from MHT with my four year old granddaughter a couple times a year to visit my son in PHX the customer service employees are so helpful, the flight attendents are so good with her it make the long flight more enjoyable for her and me. She just loves SouthWest airplanes she thinks their so cool and colorful.
We have friends who are SW employees and they truely love what they do and is shows in how they treat the passengers and our bags. SW well always be my first choice , hoping Portland or Bangor Maine will become a new destination. Keep up the great job, you have a loyal customer here, we love you.
