I did end up booking a later return flight, as it cost less. But I intend to keep an eye on my original flight. I'm okay either way. My original flight was at 5:30 am, and I wasn't really too eager to get up for that early a flight. But, it did get me home earlier; the flight I ended up selecting is about 6 hours later, so that's a bit of a bummer. But....I'll keep an eye on it.
Try to keep it untouched now, the terms of the promotion will say something along the lines of "changes invalidate the promotion" so you should keep what you have.
I've heard people using WGA+ or other standby options still qualified in previous contests but making a change in advance to the ticket could knock you out of qualifying.

My understanding is that flight limitations at ORD are not based on demand. There is more of an issue of operations. The limited gate availability works OK when everyone is on-time but fails with tardiness. Maybe this can subside as the terminal moves toward completion.
100% its the gates/operations - but we'll have the new terminal and concourses by 2034. 🙄

There are limits to how you can book.
Multi-City trips involve only two destinations, not three.
International flights often require a clear departure and return ticket. Southwest may wait until you are at the ticket counter to check when there is uncertainty. One-way'ing the non-international portion may work best.

Dealing with this exact situation right now. I have contacted Chase about it. They are saying it is on Southwest and Southwest says it is Chase. It’s a classic bait and switch. Cancelled our Chase card completely. Reported to Federal Trade Commission. Heard on the news this morning that the Department of Transportation is investigating 4 airlines for the administration of their flyer miles and southwest is one of those airlines being looked into.

The company years ago had it out with SEA-TAC over costs and threatened to move to Boeing Field which the Government did not allow. Service was curbed in response. I would have to look-up SEA Tac's current rate to see if they are still expensive. Southwest forgave Denver and then married them. Maybe there is hope for the Puget Sound.

I guess we will see. SWA has diluted and watered down A-list threshold requirements to the point that most any casual infrequent flyer can achieve A-list, so there are a lot of A-list flyers these days.

It took Southwest 50 years to become a true national carrier. It is the only one to do it post regulation and it did it in its own way. Why take that away? The company has money. It's been putting it to use instead of handing it over to investors. While network changes may be required, huge cuts would just give share to other carriers and make it harder to profit as other carriers expand.

If he is going to cancel his existing flight, he will first need to cancel the companion ticket ited to it.
Then he should cancel his flight,
Then he should register for the new CP promotion.
Then he should buy a new ticket.
Then he should add a companion to that ticket.
and all will be good

if you book a WGA ticket with a voucher you lose the transferability of the voucher, however you will not have an expiration date you can always book WGA+ to keep the transferability down the road should you need to use the funds on someone else later
also if you book a flight with the voucher it won’t cover taxes but you can book a flight pay the taxes immediately cancel and get a refund of the taxes to your Credit card and those travel funds will actually cover the taxes when you rebook so yes it’s an extra step to book cancel and rebook but that way it’s no actual money out of your pocket unless the voucher won’t cover the ticket cost
now with the promotion going on yes using the voucher will still count but remember you must register then book by tonight then fly by November 20th complete both flights

Long Beach flights are technically not in direct competition with LAX so 1 LGB-SEA non-stop seems feasible. It may make sense for them to add 1 PDX-LGB non-stop as well.

Would it be cool to see this celebrated by bringing back direct service to Pittsburgh. Price suppression may have shorted the revenue on this route in 2006 but Southwest carried 500 people which is 2 daily round trips in today's operation instead of 6.

If instead you have a flight that stops and then continues on (one flight nubmer) you would only pay once.

Hi, @Lll002!
Looks like those applications are still active! When we receive many applications, as we did with the particular postings, it can take extra time for our Teams to review, coordinate interviews, and share updates along the way. You have our apologies for the longer than anticipated wait, and we certainly appreciate your patience. Next updates should be shared via email soon!

Hi, @valeriaftibocha!
Thanks for reaching out. I took a look at your UI/UX Design Internship application, and your application was removed from consideration due to you answering "no" to this question:
"As a candidate do you have entry level experience, specialized knowledge in: Digital Experience Design, User Experience Design, Digital Marketing, Marketing, and Large Organization Experience".
That said, I see that we also received your application for the Digital Solutions Internship! This application is still active, and our Teams should begin reviewing those applications after the application window closes on September 16!

There is no way to know who stole the belt.
Was it Southwest employees at MCI or DAL? .or.
Was it TSA employees at either airport? .or.
Maybe it was airport employees at MCI or DAL.
Since TSA is the organization that is specifically allowed to sift thru your belongings, maybe you should start by filing a complaint with TSA

I've always carried consoles, even on international flights, in my hand luggage. Just so I can quickly address any questions or security checks instead of finding out after arrival that my bag never left the airport. Even if you do check-in your console, make sure you either remove the batteries from the controllers, or carry the controllers in your hand luggage.
You have to if they have lithium batteries.
I think the OP is saying they left theirs in the seatback pocket after using it inflight.

It is not irrelevant. How do you expect the airline to verify this medical information? Presumably they would ask for something from a covered entity. HIPAA cleary states that a person has complete control over what information can be disclosed. You can not be compelled by the airline to give consent.

1) Regular pre-boarders
2) Military
3) Families with kids
Lots more pre boartders than SW and a much more chaotic pre boarding process.
