@melzee I agree with your comments below and I would never understood the whole process of employment especially the bidding and scheduling times on the job as long the seniority of long time employees can decide which and what time they can works. As for the entry level, they will have to be ...patient.

@Mrkmbb Good point! I am pretty sure the extra space for let is a good ideas. Think of Amtrack that provided the passenger lots of leg room! I have been a passenger of Amtrack for years providing me a leg room a lots of love!!!!. Unfortunately for the aircraft like SWA and others, not enough of room for it. cramped and not enough of room for your leg is not good for blood circulating results in blood clots.

@awebb1980 Yes, I firmly believed that several passenger like you did experience the delayed flight due to bad weather. I am sure I have seen many posting for the last few months. For some reason why they don't always informed their passenger fearing backlashes from angry or frustration passenger. You can call the cutomer service number at 1 (800) 435-9792 or (214) 792-4000 or write it to: Southwest Airlines Co. 2702 Love Field Drive. Dallas, Texas 75235. Hope this will helps.

@lostmydog wrote: Hi - I just want to make sure I am looking at this the right way regarding qualifying for a companion pass via flights ( non credit card points). My work will pay for business select ticket class. So to get a companion pass I have to purchase 18 tickets/segments at let's say $500 per ticket which gets me 12x points for a total of 108k Rapid Reward points? I travel a lot for work between Hou and LGA/DAL so this is not crazy. Just looking to see if this correct and has any one else done this? Appreciate the feed back. Be well, Mo Additionally if you have a Southwest Rapid Rewards Visa you would get 1x points for all purchases, and 1x points for all purchases on Southwest.com on that card, as well as some other perks. (In effect the 12x would be 14x towards companion pass.) I'd strongly consider getting one if you plan to fly that much and purchase those fares, even if all you use it for is Southwest flights. A-list is separate only for the flights, that will remain at 12x for business select fares but based on your pricing and frequency above you'd easily make A-list Preferred as well at some point during the year.

Yeah that doesn’t sound right. She should be able to get her own. The only reason I could think that might throw that off is if she is an authorized user on your card??? Either way, I think it is worth a call to Chase to clarify. Let us know what you find out, pls.

Hello, so I did receive a email on last Friday that they found my phone. I had to pay a 42.00 shipping fee for them to ship it 2day (it said receive Tues) thru FedEx (yikes). Still cheaper than paying for a new phone. Since I did it after 6pm on Fri it ended up being 3day instead because I got it on yesterday, Wed. While waiting for my phone over last weekend I saw I got a separate email saying they are still looking for my item and haven't been able to locate yet. I thought that was weird because I just paid to have my phone shipped. Come to find out they gave me 2 separate claim numbers. One for my phone and 1 another for my charger. Luckly the phone is what made its way back to me. I am going to cancel the other for my charger because I am not going to pay another high cost shipping fee for a charger. I have a few already at home. Everything is fine with the phone so I'm happy now. Thanks for you all help and concerns.

@brendadrojas Sorry for the delayments, I was helping with my daughter remodeling the bathroom just to give a face lift. This has to change like every ten year to live with a better tones. We had the floor resilented and I liked the new floor! Ok, let's get back to the point that I was deeply concerned on why they won't hire me due to my disability - Hearing Impaired. So, I gave up applying for the company. I can't deal with hurt feelings. Don't let the other comments let you down.

@ronnyradio wrote: Geez, what was the purpose of this? Do you work for SWA or just an apologist? Obviously the OP knows that a ton of people love SWA but it does't work for him and his group and their policies (idiotic in his opinion) have cost them 700K annually. SWA should know this - and now they do. I'm skeptical that if this group has been traveling in the past that they don't already have go-to airlines, so it wouldn't be accurate to say all of their travel was in play necessarily - anyway, the policies that "cost" $700k in this case have earned Southwest much more from the many customers ( >120 million annually) that have embraced their way of doing business. That said they would always hope for a few more, and setting up this community is one path to help people new to the airline or infrequent travelers to gain a comfort level and become repeat customers. The OP didn't seem to be very interested in adapting to the system or learning any alternate approaches though - why did he post here if not to get some sort of feedback or audience?

I hope this helps. This is absurd, and, of course, completely untrue. The ale offered now is Lagunitas 12th of Never, which is a bit too hoppy for me but isn't awful. The lager is Dos Equis Special which is also good but not great. I too would prefer some regional craft beer selections. (But realize that, due to the nature of how Southwest planes hop about the country while being provisioned in each location, this is unlikely to happen.)

@desnda93, @DancingDavidE has the best advice. Consolidate two things into one, and then you will have the one carry item and the one personal item. Once on the plane, you can quickly remove your purse from your bag before you put it in the overhead bin. Ironically, you have to get on with two but can exit with three, so as long as you can combine down to two before getting on, you should not have a problem. It might be good to check the measurements of your makeup bag to ensure that it will count as a personal item. I hope that is helpful. Keep in mind that if you have a connection, you will have to “re-consolidate” before boarding the second plane. Fortunately, it is unlikely that you will have to go through security screening again, but not a guarantee because it depends upon the airport and flights. Good travels!

But, anyway, Do you have a account with southwest airlines portal? Check and see if you have some points onlines. I know this is a complication issues we have with SWA. Hope this will helps.

@DancingDavidE wrote: @dfwskier wrote: @DancingDavidE wrote: @bgubs14 wrote: Yeah I have had a variety of experiences with the amount of alcohol I get, more so with the rum. It might have to do with the amount they had per drink or just who is pouring. I have also heard from flight attendants that if someone has had many drinks and asks for another one it will be watered down! They might consider this if a passenger was noticeably intoxicated already. Otherwise the drinks all come in single serving containers so there wouldn't be much jurisdiction for the strength of the pour. They shouldn't be doing this if they take payment for the beverage though, the better option would be not to serve it rather than only pour a portion of the drink. Perhaps better to water drown a drink for someone who may be drunk than potentially get into an altercation with an angry drunk If there was an unpublished policy to do this, and then "forget" to take their drink coupon I'd be behind it. Actually the drink coupons could come with fine print that Southwest is allowed to provide any mixed drink in a manner necessary for the conditions...but don't take someone's credit card if you weren't going to deliver the goods. Or make up an excuse of "sorry we had turbulence" or "we ran out of that" and then forgot to come back. But I don't expect that the FA do this either - my guess is that people have an issue of perception of the strength, but the actual strength is standard. David, I didn't mean to imply this is happening. I don't. The liquor comes in those one serving mini bottles. One per drink. I'm sure you've heard stories about pax being denied another drink, and then becoming belligerent when denied.
