No. Unfortuantely, Southwest just recently stopped allowing any points transfers from partners (credit card, hotels, etc.) to count for Companion Pass qualification. The only points that are Companion Pass Tier Qualifying are base points from Southwest or partners (not any bonus points), plus all points earned from the Rapid Rewards Visa card from Chase. Your best bet for earning CP without travel is to get the Rapid Rewards Visa card(s) from Chase, with a sign up bonus (40,000-60,000 depending on offer).

Since there are no change fees on Southwest Airlines, you can book your ticket now, and make changes to your itinerary as needed. Keep in mind that any fare differences will be applicable. Also, if your travel dates are flexible, you can use our Low Fare Calendar to find the best fares of the month and book for those days.

Our Network Planning Team is tasked with the challenge of monitoring changes in traffic in certain markets from season to season, and making sure we create a flight schedule that maximizes our resources, ensures cost savings, and offers the best overall product. This causes some routes to only be offered at certain times of the year. You can check out our weekly schedule between two cities here, which will make planning a little easier (make sure to change the "view" to "weekly").

Nobody likes to lean in the Customer’s favor more than Southwest Airlines, which is why we make the account information and progress towards Tier status readily available online, like you've shown in the screenshot.
In order to maintain the integrity of our Rapid Rewards program and continue to provide the perks associated with each Tier Status, we must consistently adhere to our program rules. Saying “no” to a request for a Tier Status that has not been truly earned helps ensure that we are able to say “yes” to offering benefits to our qualifying Members in the future. We encourage Members to familiarize themselves with their statement schedule so there won't be any surprises at the end of the year.

Yes. Customers who have purchased Anytime Fares will receive priority over Customer’s who purchase Early Bird with other fare types. Boarding positions are assigned based on the time stamp of the EarlyBird Check-In purchase relative to passengers within the same fare class.

I normally have my companion pass renewed by May with just flights. However, look for hotels on their site that offer big point bonuses, do you shop online you can shop though SWA and it will take you to the site you initially wanted to shop on and you can earn points, finally do you eat out allot you can link your credit card to their dining rewards and its 1 point per dollar spent.

Yes! when you check in it will automatically check in everybody in your travel reservation. I've been fortunate that we have always found 3 seats together for my hubby, daughter & myself. Never had a problem.
