Did you originally pay with a travel fund or LUV voucher? If so that refund would be held as travel funds under the confirmation number that you were booked under. You could also call reservations 800-435-9792 and see if they can take another look or escalate to someone who can investigate.

In AUS i just take the city bus and its only $2.50RT and from my place its not too long of a ride. My dad and other family members use the parking spot about $5 a day plus taxes. If he's late he will park at the economy lot now that it has finally reopened $8 a day. During the covid closure the only options were Red and Blue garage at $20-$25 a day the garage was full most of the time and unreliable so the parking spot started getting extra business from my family.

I've heard of some getting the voucher reissued after calling it can take up to 14 days to get the voucher though if they are able to resend or recreate it. Heck on that long of a delay you might be able to ask for more than $100. I've seen some get $200 for that long of a delay (depending on what caused the delay) you would need to reach out to southwest though to request the voucher be resent or resent for a higher value but I guess $100 is better then nothing.

I think your husband would be ok in 2 seats as I have seen others that size fit in 2 seats. I would proactively book the flight and it can be refunded after travel is complete. When booking just be sure you put XS in the middle name that way it will recognize it as a COS reservation and after travel is complete you can reach out to Southwest on Social media or call 800-435-9792 and they can get the 2nd seat refunded. -Blake

If you were booked on the same confirmation number her funds will be held under that confirmation number so when she goes to book a new flight she can look at the confirmation number that is under your account and just enter her name when applying the funds on the payment screen. At this time there is not a way to add the funds to an account after you cancel a booking without a RR account being on the reservation before canceling. Had she had an account then added the number to the reservation then cancelled it would have showed up but in this case it's not linked so it won't be in her account. (Sorry if that sounds complicated) The other option would be to rebook a flight while logged in to her RR account using all of her funds and cancel then the funds will show up in the account. So if she has $100 in TFs find a $100 flight book it then cancel (while she is logged in) and boom the funds will show up for when she wants to book later without remembering the confirmation number. -Blake

If you used the LUV voucher to buy a flight then cancelled the flight that voucher would become a travel fund and you can then see that under the travel funds page on your account. If you want to see how much is left on the voucher you would need the voucher number and security code as already mentioned.

Was this a register then book then fly promotion? If so hopefully you followed those steps or you won't qualify. Most SW promotions are register then book then fly I think I saw 1 this year where people didn't have to register but I don't remember if that was this one.

You could book when the schedule opens up and if the price drops before you make your final payment you can call and have the group repriced I have done that several times and saved some nice money for the group. Unfortunately once final payment is made you can't reprice and save on group reservations at least I wasn't able to on my last group booking 2 years a go. I might wait a few weeks after the schedule opens to call because you might be waiting on hold for hours just to get a higher price. Now days you might find flights for $49-$99 DAL-MCO when the schedule opens up it might be something like $139 so waiting might help but it depends on how in a hurry you are to book and if the prices are in your budget -Blake

So as an A Lister i had a case opened on September 1st they responded by phone on September 17th the Customer Relations rep i spoke to said some response times are at or just below 30 days because of a lot of emails thanks to schedule changes, covid complaints, and other general emails/comments and complaints. Are you using a LUV voucher by chance? If so LUV vouchers don't cover taxes which might be why you still owe money with part of the voucher applied but not all of it. Also as mentioned already if your original flight had others on the same confirmation number you can only use the funds attached to your name. -Blake

I just check in on my phone/tablet and if needed print the boarding pass at the airport when I arrive. If you don't have a smart phone or tablet and you use the hotel computer most hotels will restart and clear your information after so long of inactivity or after so long on a session (usually 20-45mim session in my experience) it's always best practice to not save your password on a public device just be smart if you use a hotel computer. -Blake

Hold times will be long at the group desk for the next few days. Southwest groups only has so many customer service agents I'm sure all hands are on deck. The bigger thing this time around is the schedule opened up for almost 4 months instead of a month or 2 so call volumes will be very high. Why is it always this way because really its no different than tickets to the great concert being released its like a rat race to get the tickets before the concert sells out some just want to book as soon as they can.

You check in 24 hours before the flight on the app or website. You won't need a passport to go from FL to GA. Southwest has open seating so your boarding group A B or C will show up on your boarding pass when you check in and the position 1-60 will determine where you stand in line to board. Once on board you can pick any open seat (so if you check in early at the 24 hour mark you can most likely avoid the middle seat unless you like the middle seat) -Blake

You should arrive at the airport about 2 hours before your flight. For checking bags you can do it at the self service kiosk or at the full service ticket counter. You can also get your boarding pass here or use the mobile boarding pass on your phone. Once you check your bag head to security have your ID and boarding pass handy. Once your though security you can go to your gate or grab a bite to eat if you have time. Be sure you check in for your flight 24 hours before departure to get the best boarding position as southwest boards by groups ABC the earlier you check in the better your chance of being in the A or B group. Boarding starts 30min before departure so be sure to be at the gate by that time. -Blake

So if you have all 3 confirmation numbers and know 1 name on each reservation you can check in all the reservations. For the group reservation (booked though the group department) once you click check in it will ask if you want to check everyone in you click the checkbox to do that and it will give you all boarding numbers. For the other 2 reservations it will check everyone in once you click check in (no selecting who to check in) How to check in all the reservations: I would have 1 reservation set up to check in on a phone 1 on a computer 1 on a tablet (or just 3 devices) that way at T-24 hours you can click check in on all of them at the same time. If you only have 1 device available do the group reservation first so the majority are checked in and maybe they can save the other few a seat. -Blake

I usually see schedules show up by 9am Central (Dallas time) at the latest but it releases in batches so it takes just a couple hours for it to load once they begin that process. most Southwest things (sales, promotion start/finish, schedule releases) are done in central time. -Blake

If southwest changed your flight you can make a free change within 72 hours after the 72 hours you would need to reach out to reservations 800-435-9792 or Facebook or Twitter DM and they can rebook you without a fare difference. If you rebooked and paid when you shouldn't have (Ig southwest made the schedule change) i would Contact Customer Relations to see if they can get your extra points back because 10000 is a lot of points to say oh well to. If the schedule had more flights added but your flight wasn't changed then yes you would be responsible for the difference in points -Blake
