Companion Pass offers a lot more tier qualifying point (TQP) options than A-List/A-List Preferred which is why the counts are different - the breakdown is here:

Does Delta have forums similar to this?
I feel like, with any online forum, people are quick to share negative experiences over positive ones, generally. That's just how it is.
Southwest is unique in their boarding and seating procedures, they are unlike every other airline in that they don't assign seats, so those who aren't familiar with Southwest get confused by the process, hence a lot of the questions on here.

Your experience is different from mine. Lots of data requested just to find the survey is closed. If that is the case, why are they collecting ANY data?
Do you ... not understand how surveys work? Even with my profile filled to 100%, I sometimes have to answer a few questions until I am able to start a survey, and even when I start the survey, sometimes I don't qualify because they are looking for specific data requirements, i.e., age or location or job, and if you aren't who they are looking for you won't qualify for the survey.

Total scam. They collect tons of data - what’s your internet provider? What insurance do you have? Then they tell you you don’t qualify. What do they do with the info you already gave them?
The info you provide is anonymous - most I've ever had to give is my zip code and age or birthdate - and most companies on earth make surveys to collect data and opinions on their products and services.

It isn't a scam. Nearly all survey-type participations are like this - eOpinions is another example. You aren't going to qualify for every survey you click on and you sometimes need to go through several before you find one that you qualify for and can complete. It takes minutes of your time. I've earned over 7,000 RR points from Rewards for Opinions over the years and I'm at Diamond, the ultimate level. I've scaled back and haven't completed a survey in months though! Just looked at my profile and completed 2 surveys in minutes - even when you don't qualify, you still get 3 RR points (on average), so it's a win-win either way.
You also need to fill out your profile to 100% so you get more surveys tailored to you. If you don't answer all those questions before you start, the chances of getting surveys you aren't going to qualify for increases.

Rule #1 when flying for an important event: NEVER fly the day of. ALWAYS fly the day before. Delays and cancellations happen, and you don't want to miss your event.

I am trying to use my SW points to Redeem for more rewards. However, when i login to southwest website and click on click on Redeem points for Gift cards and more option, I am getting Site down for Maintenance error. I am seeing this error for last 2 days and this is really annoying.
P.S - I am not SW credit card holder and on SW website it says rapid rewards member can use points for more rewards.
Agree - the way Southwest words this has always been confusing to me.
According to the page: https://www.southwest.com/rapidrewards/redeem-more-rewards
It *looks* as if RR members and RR CC members (2 different groups) can redeem points for gift cards, merch, hotel stays, rental cars, and more according to the chart.
But the top of the page says: "With the More Rewards program, Rapid Rewards® Credit Cardmembers can use their points for merchandise, international flights on global carriers, hotel stays, rental cars, gift cards, and exclusive Cardmember experiences."
It's never been very clear.
I am not a RR CC member, and I have been able to access the site sporadically but have never tried to purchase anything with points. It's down right now for me as well.

I’m glad you all are chiming in maybe my point is not clear here, it’s seems so just because it is open seating there should be no ethical rule that the person paying $29 bucks should not go straight to the back ?
Wait, what? Cheaper tickets should automatically go to the back? Do other airlines do this?
Southwest has open seating. That means any seat is available to you. There is no hierachy based on price you pay or even A-B-C groups. I've been in the C group, practically the last person to board, and I got a second row center seat once.

Southwest Vacations - despite the name - is not actually run by Southwest. It's a 3rd party platform that Southwest utilizes for flight/hotel packages. Any issues with Southwest Vacations, you will have to take up with them. Due to the pandemic, etc., I would not be surprised if refunds take longer to process than the time they state (30 days).
I also highly question getting "partial cash refund." Almost always when there is a change or cancellation with Southwest Vacations and you did *not* purchase their travel protection, you're getting travel credit. If the flight portion of your trip was changed, you could get travel credit with Southwest, *or* an actual refund to your credit card if you booked an Anytime or Business Select fare.

I'm not aware that Southwest Hotels (through Booking.com) from Southwest.com ever allowed you to reserve a hotel "with points." I believe you can do this through More Rewards - and you can redeem all kinds of things there like international flights (not on Southwest), gift cards, and more: https://www.southwest.com/rapidrewards/redeem-more-rewards
I believe you have to be a Rapid Rewards Credit Card Holder to access the portal, although the link above says a "Rapid Rewards Member" can redeem rewards there; when I click "Explore Rewards" however the portal says it is down for maintenance.

You posted 2 different errors here, but I am especially curious about the first one which states to contact your "TMC/Travel Agency." Normal reservations booked online don't have anything to do with a travel agency. I'm not sure who booked the ticket, but if it was some sort of agency, you would have to go through them and not the typical "change/cancel" process on Southwest.com.

Your voucher expired almost 2 years ago and you're just now asking to use it after being told there's uncertainty. That's the cue to inquire again, perhaps after a month, not 2 years. You're welcome to write Southwest and ask for some compensation, but it seems rather unlikely to me.

I'm really just amazed that people wait so long to complain. Similar to the other post - you should have booked a flight with your voucher any time from March - September 2020 - doesn't matter where - and cancelled it within that window, to extend your resulting travel credit to September 2022.

As I understood it was for flights booked btwn March and Sept 2020. My flight was booked in December 2019. Didn't sound like my flight qualified.
All you had to do was rebook and cancel your flight within the timeframe specified to have your travel funds extended to September 2022. Not sure why you didn't do this. This is not complicated.

What small step? Please elaborate. I called in several times, spoke to several agents, CSR on the topic of this voucher. What small step? They never mentioned any small step to extend my credit through 2022.
All you had to do was book any flight between March and September 2020, then cancel it, and your travel funds would be extended to September 2022 instead of the usual one-year-expiration. This policy was clearly outlined on Southwest.com for months.

Now that flight credits no longer expire, one of two things should happen:
1) There should be a single flight credit balance instead of splitting up credits by reservation number, or
2) The "3 forms of payment" rule should be relaxed to include as many flight credits as you have / can use.
What do you think? I'd be happy with either one!

Works for me! I'm flying to MIA in Jan and can use this, but funnily enough, I didn't have to enter the promo code to get the discount. The % off was already applied when I looked up the flight. I entered the discount code anyway just to check and the price was the same as when it was not entered.

Southwest was just following their own policy, but the gate agent was only partially correct in wanting each child to show a card. The 8 and 9 year olds should not have had to show a card, but the 14 and 17 year old should have.
Military fares
United States military personnel on active duty (including reservists, National Guard members, and Coast Guard members with active orders, cadets/midshipmen attending the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Military Academy [West Point], and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy) and their authorized dependents are eligible for Military fares.
Military dependents ages two through 11 years old must be accompanied by a military Customer or a military-dependent Customer at least 12 years of age.
Note: Customers must carry and present a valid United States Armed Forces identification at the time of check-in. A military-dependent Customer 12 years or older must carry and present a card that displays their status as an active-duty military dependent.

Per the policy you are allowed one bag and one small personal item. Personal items must fit in the 16.25” (L) x 13.5” (W) x 8” (H) space under the seat.
So, a backpack should be fine. You cannot have a third item, though, like a purse. A purse would need to be inside the backpack.
