Not trying to bully anyone, but I wouldn't consider any refund outside of the policy that I've established. SWA and many other companies worked and tried to do what they could during a crazy time of our lives, but they, or anyone, could guarantee everyone was going to be satisfied. Not just with airlines, but other issues and services as well I had to bite the bullet and move on. No, I wasn't happy, but I've not tried to make others feel bad as like with SWA, there were policies in place that I didn't take the time to fully go over and it's my fault. I hope this is just a minor blip in your life and you can move on and maybe I will see you on a future flight, if not, good, I have an empty middle seat.

I am unsure of your situation. If you are a Rapid Rewards member, sign in and then go to My Account. On top there is a Travel Funds box; click it to see travel funds you have available (assuming they have been made in the past 6 months or so). If they are there, then wait a couple of weeks (my guess as to when it will be done) and the programmers will write the code so you can convert Travel Funds to RR points, which will show in your account afterward (on top when you sign in). RR Points do not expire and you can use them for anyone you wish for travel on SWA. (When you go to book flights, just check the Points box on top of the page where the available flight are shown. If you don't see it, call SWA to book. Of course booking with points does not get you points for those flights, but not likely a big deal for you.

You really are good at deflecting the issue: IF A senior citizen books a cheap flight not finding the camouflage fine print and the Senior ons willing to accept 1/2 of his airfare back on his credit card & my airfare was $659.00 & dropped to $99.00 why cant SW refund 1/2 my airfare to my credit card to mitigate? I have raised that question plus the tiny fine print not user friendly to a Senior & if I read your sarcastic response I would wonder why you keep repeating the Company Policy and dont acknowledge the Epidemic has caused mitigating circumstances let alone why SW cant give even half my$ back on my credit card. Did Sw train you to write like a Politician or does it come naturally. You evaded my issues again and try to bully me w your sarcastic comments. Why dont you get your buddies from Sw to see if my flight was canceled they have my $659.00 and you d think they could add people to the call center w everyones $ that they are holding in the lock box. Your comments bring to mind "withholding information is worse than a lie. Giving a reply that does not address the issues and being so smug is disgusting and deceitful. Which bring s to mind when your lips move the truth doesnt come out.

Perhaps you didn’t read the solution. A refund is an option for flights canceled by Southwest. Here is the info again: If your flight was canceled by Southwest, you have a few options: you can rebook your flight, get travel funds, or ask for a refund. You need to contact them and ask (but you should have received an e-mail with this information). If *you* canceled your flight, not Southwest, your options are to rebook or get travel funds, which are good until *2022*. Let us know what other questions you may have. —Jessica

@MeddleSeat wrote: why did SW mark luvsw's issue resolved ? It doesn't look like he agreed to that? Y R you people censoring legitimate differences of opinion? He or she can “unmark” it then if it was incorrectly marked as solved. It could be marked solved if the question in the post was answered. The answer may or may not be desirable to the poster. This community is primarily user to user, if the OP is looking for Southwest to do something then you need to use one of the “Contact Us” methods rather than post here.
