Mine were added. I tried calling but the customer service area wasn't the best help. I got more assistance and better answers by sending a message to southwest on X (Twitter). I made a long post earlier in the thread 🙂

I noticed this too for one of my flights, and there doesn't seem to be a time limit to make the free change(s), whereas before you had to do it in 72 hours (on average) then the option went away.

Over on Reddit SWA-Mark confirmed that it was an error in the footnotes and same-day changes remain an A-list benefit in 2024.

I found a solution that might work for some people.
This was on my Android 12 phone
Somewhere along the line I had switched my DNS setting to use a private, encrypted DNS server.
But of course when first connecting to the inflight WiFi, you don't yet have internet access to access a private DNS server.
I fixed this, for inflight success, by going to Android settings
Connections
More connection settings
Private DNS
Changing it from Private to either Automatic or Off

The Hawaii flight will have a few snacks - there's a snack pack with the usual snack mix plus cheese and crackers and two Tic Tacs, and they'll also come through with a sweet snack. I can't recall if we had one additional service of just a snack...
That said, for a 6-hour flight, I'd bring something to eat and fill a water bottle in Vegas.

Wow, I've learned something, thanks for sharing. As an A'-lister I've done the standby flight change multiple times over the years but was unaware I could make a no charge change. The standby thing only works for me when I do not check bags and about 75% of the time I have to check bags to accommodate PPE for work so a no charge same day change would be a win for me.
The same-day change is new this year with the WGA+ fare, it was only standby for earlier flights before this.
Agree with you the new method is great if they let you do it since I like to check bags when traveling with some of the gear.
But my habit under the prior rules was generally to book the latest non-red-eye flight available and then try to confirm a standby at the counter which often worked.

How do I get free drinks on a plane?
By making 10 paid flights...When you do that, SW sends you drink coupons which you can use to buy "free" drinks
There's lots of ways!
Drink coupons are the easiest, but also be friendly to the FA's, give up your seat if a family boards late, sometimes the FA never comes back to collect coupons, sometimes during a delay in the before times they seemed to forgive the first round not sure if that's unofficial policy now or not, dressing up in Southwest logo clothes can't hurt. Make friends with your seatmates if you see they have a stack of coupons likely more than they could ever use. (I often offer to pick up my seatmates if they show interest in a beverage.) Sit next to but not in his adjacent middle seat of @bec102896 and he'll offer.

cash drawer?
I don't think so at the gate either.
Maybe you can give a fellow passenger the cash and they would swipe it for you.

Well if you want to do this, you can contact SW to tell them you want to cancel the MEM COS flight, but keep the COS - MEM flight intact. As a matter of fact you can do that yourself on southwest.com. Then you would need to book your MEM DEN flight. I'd be surprised if there is not a significant difference in price, but I've been surprised before..
I would check the price on the MEM - DEN flight before I cancelled anything.
Good luck.

However, there was one change that did catch my eye. AL and ALP now receive free same day confirmed changes. In the past, it was just same day standby. To me, this is a fair major plus. Yay!
Where did you see this? I only read this was for WGBP fares... for everyone.

I’ve flown my qualifying segments as of 10/31/21 and had 4 different SW reps tell me I’ve qualified for A List renewal for ‘22. Yet, my account has not been updated to reflect it. Just this morning, I was told that they see in my record that I’ve qualified, but that no one’s will show up until a system-wide update on 12/31. Obviously, that’s false based on what some have written on this thread. I’m concerned because I have one more (expensive!) flight in ‘21 I can convert from a points to a paid business class fare to qualify. The rep this morning said I “absolutely do not need to do that.” Thoughts from those more experienced than I in dealing with Southwest?
