On the Low Fare Calendar page.....click the very small View All Destinations box.
From next page plug in your home airport for FROM airport, a list of fares for MANY airports will pop up. You have to look down the page for the $49 dollars. They are limited.

SWA changed my flite. The result was my flight INTO Dallas arrived at 2:00 pm. My flight OUT of Dallas departed at 9:30 am. My friend called SWA for me, which is very difficult in my cirumstances, setting someone up to make a call for me. I am a laryngectomee and have no voice. Thats my plight and if i have to call, i have to call. SWA rep went "Whoa how did that happen?" And fixed it.

Wish i could be as nonchalant as you about it. I just went back to try to change my flight again. Now......Nancy xxxxx and Rogerxxxxx have 4 travel funds in my account. Yesterday it was 2. And what concerns me is that MY confirmation number is included in the block with their funds. There continues to be red lettering in their funds......" this is not the passenger (me)". Delete these funds. But theres no way to delete. I tried ignoring it, tried to get thru the change module, got to last step and got the message " this change can't be made online. Call SWA."

More and more....within the past 2-3 mos....the answer given here is "it must be a temporary glitch". These temporary glitches seem to be moving toward the norm, and not a random occurrence. Didn't they have a data/software issue recently?? This is proving very unacceptable. Despite being a longtime SWA customer, I am losing confidence in them.

What is going ON with SWA software lately?? Yet another weird thing is happening in my account and with my reservations. I am in the module to change a flight. Steps 1-3 proceed as usual/normal. I get to the screen for step 4, where it pulls up my travel funds. And there are TWO people's names I do not know showing travel funds for my reservation code. There's a red message: " The name attached to this fund does not match passenger name (mine). Pls edit passenger name or remove the fund." I can't even figure out how to do that; and I don't want to manipulate ANYTHING anyway. So, I completely log out of my account. Log back in. And check my travel funds (not thru any specific reservation). They are correct. Any ideas or recommendations???

Just today I found out similar. AND I got no notification (by email for example) that my flight times were changed. AND there isn't even the banner that says "Oh sorry....we had to change your flights." I was just randomly checking this reservation and saw this. Fortunately, the dates are out a ways on the calendar and the new times are fine. But why NO NOTIFICATION and no remarks that it was changed????

This is what i call the flights/flying days from hell. Sorry it put such a damper on your vacation. But honestly this could, and has happened on ANY airline. All airline flights are affected by weather and maintenance issues.

not necessarily too large. many beach umbrellas, canopies, etc come in a carry bag that is quite compact. it would have to meet size requirements though. same for a duffel bag. some are pretty small.

I am a laryngectomee. I breathe thru a stoma in my neck. So my issue is respiratory. I walk fine. I need no assistance boarding the plane. I pre-board. The reason is because I have medical equipment that must be directly over my head or in the bin over the adjacent aisle. Like super close. I honestly could care less where I sit on an airplane. Really. I'm just glad to get on. I really don't understand all the hoopla about getting to sit up front or in the first however many rows. I make it a point to proceed to the back of the plane and choose a seat there. My roller bag is quite heavy and I am very small. Many times staff are in the back and are kind enough to help me with my bag. I KNOW they are not required to and I don't expect them to. I wear a back brace and pretty much handle my bag ok by myself. So.....there are other reasons for pre-boarding besides mobility issues. In fact, I think I have heard the announcement for pre-board reasons go something like "if you need more time to board the plane or if you need the assurance of a nearby overhead bin." I am also a disabled veteran and an Army Retiree. But I don't expect special privileges for that.

You have been so helpful in stepping me thru the troubleshooting. After digging deeper into our Global Entry file, I DO recall now that our FIRST GE/TSA application was in 2018. To let you know, I have conclusive evidence that I renewed my status in late 2022, and my KTN did NOT change upon renewal. It stayed the same. With initial application is Fall 2018 and my daughter's bdate in the month of DEC, I have a feeling her most recent expiration was her bday in Dec 2023. And somehow we missed renewing it. (Interestingly, my OTHER daughter renewed hers months prior to her Sept '23 bday and expiration). Maybe life got busy for this daughter in question; she was in college at the time. And me Mom the travel administrator was/is going thru a stupid cancer battle (still). I have asked my daughter to check her GE card for expiration.

My point exactly. So has she/we. As stated prior, ALL her names and info match exactly and are included in her RR and American accounts, in the specific air reservations, and in her Global Entry/TSA account. Her Global Entry is current, active, and valid. I have cross referenced everything. So that is why it seems odd that it occurred on two different airlines 4 days apart. Oh well....we are flying SW this weekend. We'll see what happens.

well i don't have her Global Entry card. i know our 3 family members applied for GE at the same time, within a few mos of each other. So she either applied in 2022 and expires in 2027. Or she applied in 2023 and expires in 2028. (Global Entry is good for 5 yrs)

Her Global Entry commenced in 2022. And it has not been renewed. It doesn't expire until 2028.

Create a RR account for your daughter. Then for future ticket purchases that are paid with $$, purchase WGA+. Its only like $15-$20 more. If your daughter has to cancel, the travel credit can be transferred to you.

Thank you. Everything matches exactly. She has TSA precheck thru her Global Entry status. It expires in 2028. Her name is exactly the same in her frequent flyer profile for both airlines, in her reservations for the flites, and in her Global Entry/TSA profile. She/we fly and travel frequently. We didn't do anything differently when making these two reservations. I was not with her during check-in for these flites. It wasn't a concern to her at the time, and she prob didn't have sufficient time to really address it with an airline rep. We will both be flying this weekend on Southwest. I will be sure to see what happens.

My daughter experienced something weird recently while flying. I booked her a one-way flite Austin to Phoenix on Southwest. And a one-way flight Southwest to Austin on American. She has a Known Traveler Number in her profile for both airlines. On BOTH flites she was NOT designated as TSA Pre-Check. So this occurred on two totally different airlines. If it had been just one of the airlines I would speculate that maybe I entered her name wrong (with or without a middle initial, something like that). But I'm certain that did not happen. Since this occurred on both airlines, could this have been a wonky issue with the TSA software system or something like that? Any ideas?

Okay, I'm a little paranoid to cancel a WGA Plus reservation until I ask here. Once before, I cancelled one, and I THINK the option/link to TRANSFER the funds to another RR member showed up on the screen BEFORE I clicked "Cancel."
This time....first of all when I clicked to cancel flite, I got the message about "sorry your flite has been modified....do you want to make a change" etc etc. I think the software is key-ing off the flight change situation.
The reservation screen DOES show this is a WGA Plus Fare. However, this is the final thing: It shows the paid amount $308.48, Underneath says "Funds will be held for future use." And underneath that is the CANCEL button.
If I hit cancel, will it take me to a screen with the option to transfer the funds to a RR member??
This is kinda critical becuz the reservation is for my husband, who rarely travels with us. And of course, again becuz of his job, he cannot go on our trip. So I REALLY want to be able to transfer the funds to MY RR account. Otherwise they will prob sit in his a long long time.
