You can request all you want then you will get rejected  good luck with that lawsuit that I’m sure will follow    honestly you will probably just end up on a no fly list because businesses can refuse service to whoever they want and if you continue to harass them they will get fed up (some places quicker than others)    if you hate the airline so much why do you continue to fly them??    maybe go test out the other airlines with the new rules just announced today of cash refunds see if they actually do it you seem like the person who would great for seeing if they follow the new rules.  I’m guessing this is one flight that the rules weren’t enforced to your liking but you will call out MCO as a whole (which is not fair)   maybe air travel isn’t for you and a car, bus, or train might be a better method since your always upset over everything    just like your fed up with Southwest I’m sure some people and companies are fed up with you. Filing the lost item report is your best bet patience is the next step I know your anxious to get your laptop back however it is possible they sent it to lost and found and that process does take time. Also @whitesoxfan    im sorry of your bad experience on Wednesday I know they were a mess then and from what I have seen and heard from some of my friends it was a disaster that’s not the normal but unfortunately with the extra people in town flying out it made for a headache and it did take some time for kinks to be worked out    my guess is the line just kept growing from passengers missing flights and having to be rebooked and that takes time sometimes rebooking can be fast other times there’s a passenger who can’t decide what they want to do and hold up the line if you know what I mean.  id recommend sending an email to southwest sharing your experience and maybe they will be able to offer you a voucher for the inconvenience especially since you had to take a later flight   my recommendation for Southwest as another customer like yourself would have been to issue a waiver for all AUS flights once they saw what mess they were getting themselves in to that way people could change flights on the app/website without a fare difference and no agent required (similar to what they do for weather) of course HQ usually deals with those waivers but the line would have still been there for checked bags and other things but maybe slightly shorter.  ... In my past experience with this type of promo over the last couple of years I did same day changes and still qualified. I think the change may eliminate qualification would be for moving a flight past the promotion fly by date as mentioned by @epcot. one time SW did a schedule change I changed my date still within the promotion travel by date and qualified so you should be good for same day changes    Personally it would be a headache for the airline if they eliminated qualification for same-day changes because some have to be changed due to IROPS and it wouldn’t be fair to those customers to say you no longer qualify because we had to rebook you due to a flight delay  ... Yesterday was the 3rd busiest day in AUS history just behind formula 1 and a music festival. I’m guessing even the few flights where the WiFi actually works your probably still requesting refunds under the excuse of its not the speed I get at home well at some point they will see all you do is complain and request refunds then they will stop refunding you for abuse of the system. Plenty of companies do it especially food delivery companies (DoorDash or Uber eats as an example) if you complain every time your food is cold eventually they ban you because your costing them more money than they make off of you so they end in the red so it’s easier to fire you so to speak so they stay in the green with real customers (I’ve heard of several people who this has happened to) this is just a general warning to you not me trying to pick a fight with you    more importantly if you know the speed isn’t good or the WiFi is always down on your flights why waste the money in the first place? It’s more work to write a complaint to get a refund vs doing something that doesn’t require Wi-Fi for a few hours of your life. if you don’t like a company for any reason why do you give it your business?  I am ALP and get the Wi-Fi for free and out of the last 42 flights I’ve taken only 2 have had issues with not working at all and 5 with slow or intermittent/spotty service.  ... A 25min boarding delay because you had to wait on other passengers/crew is nothing and because of the weather your flight took just a little longer the airline has no control over that. A 40min late flight overall is nothing just wait till the day you have a 3 hour delay or an overnight delay.  When traveling I plan for my flights to be late so that in the event the flight is on time I’ll be happy and excited. When traveling always allow extra time in your schedule for the event of a delay say if your scheduled to land at noon don’t have a meeting at 1pm expect the unexpected so your not mad when a slight inconvenience occurs.  ... The other passengers would need to pay the fare difference only the A List passengers get the same day confirmed.  My way around this is buy WGA+ for the other passengers that way at midnight you can make the change for everyone without any cost difference    if you wait they can do free standby on earlier flights but seats would need to exist on the flight and inventory changes a lot same day  ... Maybe they went to take the call off hold and they accidentally hung up. Maybe you lost cell reception and the call dropped. Maybe you accidentally hit the end button with your cheek I doubt this was intentional but more of a simple mistake life happens.  Maybe they kept putting you on hold to work on your issue but they kept coming back on to update you that they were still with you and working on your concern compared to some companies who put you on hold for 30min with no update and you wonder if you were forgotten    did you call back right after the line hung up?  ... Since your airport doesn’t have curbside check in it will be hard to check bags under your partner without them present.   here’s what I would suggest have your partner drop you off with the luggage they go and park as they get close with the baby you can get in line that way they can just pop in and get to the counter with you or you can check your bags and just hold the 1 until he gets in to the terminal    3rd option is use the self service kiosk get the tags on the bags but wait till your partner arrives to go to the counter and show your ID’s and you will be on your way in no time as you can check in on the kiosk without showing ID until you hand your bag over to the employee at the desk however if the kiosk wants you to visit the ticket counter for check in for any reason then you would have to wait for your partner    bottom line you won’t be able to check the bags fully without the partner present to show ID but you can get a head start in many ways just pick the method that works for you.  Even if you can’t check the luggage it’s easier to walk from curb to counter inside instead of parking lot to counter (since some parking requires a shuttle)  ... I mean yes sometimes they have to make an announcement during boarding I just wait for the acknowledgment from the ops agent before I scan now was she right for slapping your phone no but the best thing you can do is report using the online form as you already did and hopefully they can take the appropriate action. Did the agent possibly say hang on a second as she was picking up her microphone and maybe it was missed because it wasn’t clear?
