I'd just book a one way trip for that leg.

disappointed in closing the discussion boards. There are so many questions that people have that are not addressed in the Help Page, and unfortunately the response times from SW via phone, email, social media aren't the quickest.

and what if there is a short turn around time for a disabled person to get to their next flight? You expect them to be last off the plane and then try to hurry to their next gate?
I think you should have to show your disability parking tag to be able to board in the group. Anyone with a legit disability would be able to get this easily through their Doctor.

oh no, 18 people boarded before you, 16 of which walked on the plane. I would expect them to walk off also. 🙂
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, my husband who has Cerebral Palsy would give you both of his legs to have lead a normal life like you have without any complications that his CP has presented him in his life.
Even if all 18 took the front rows, that is only 3 rows.... and that is a problem for you? Have some compassion and be thankful you are A List and have those benefits, able to fly instead of having to drive to your destination, and many other benefits of a non-disabled person.
I'm tired of the complaining and yes I know that people abuse the system. This entitled world we now live in needs to check themselves. You should be grateful you had a seat on the plane and got to your destination.
Be kind and compassionate. 1 in 4 has a disability.

so because my husband has a life long disability (Cerebral Palsy), you expect him to have to pay more to preboard? You also got seats in row 9 which I think is a great selection as you are still in the front of the plane. I've flown enough to know that there wouldn't have been 48 pre boarders ahead of you, or even that many on the plane already that would have moved to fill the front 8 rows.
I'm also sure that you still made it to your destination and didn't take long to deplane. I agree there are some preboarders that take advantage, but ultimately, you still had a seat on the plane to take you to your destination. The ones that take advantage of the system will have to live with their decisions and someday I pray they wake up and realize that isn't the right thing to do.

people still don't listen. Was on a flight yesterday and we had 50 open seats. The flight attendant kept telling people to move on to the back where there was additional overhead bin space and people were still trying to shove their luggage in the overhead space even without a seat near it. The flight attendant finally asked after numerous announcements, "does anyone hear me or listen anymore"?
People will still do whatever it is they want to do, regardless of any new boarding schedule. Most likely, they will put their luggage up front and sit in the back to grab it on the way out of the plane.

I haven't received mine, but when I went to look at the terms, it said I had to have spending in the time period of $30k. I didn't meet that minimum spend, so will not receive the rewards. Might want to look at the terms of the promotion to verify you filled the spend requirement.
and after reading the terms, it is very clearly a Chase promotion as it is all tied to the Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Card.

I didn't receive the offer, but put in my information at the website on the pic you attached and it brought up a 10 year anniversary for me. Worked fine. Receiving 750 companion pass points in 6-8 weeks.

They adjusted schedules last night because my flight changed from a non-stop to one with a layover in MDW for our early morning flight. Bummer because now there is only 1 non-stop during the day and it is late afternoon! We like the early flights but need non-stop and we lose a full beach day by taking the later non-stop.... ugh.

I usually cancel the original ticket first, but if for some reason it doesn’t allow you to, I would get in touch with SW customer service.
enjoy your companion pass! It’s a great benefit!

If that statement date you are questioning is from 12/6/23 - 1/6/24, then the points would show up for 2024 year as your statement ends in 2024. you would have received all you were getting based on statement date for 2023 on your 12/5/23 statement.

because I spend enough on the card to get me enough points to never pay for an airline ticket for myself, husband, and 2 kids (now 4 with spouses) to go where we want every year.
I haven't paid for an airline ticket in a very long time (we're talking many years). We've also earned companion pass with it every year.
Only you can determine the value of the card for your use. For me, I will keep it forever.

according to Chase Bank FAQ's: When will I receive my points? Points earned on purchases appear in your Rapid Rewards account up to 30 days after your statement cycle date.
Patience grasshopper. I'd give it at least a few more days or a week and then start digging into it.

I'm going to say it again.... you have a seat on the plane AND are not disabled (mentally or physically). You should be thankful for both.
Take a deep breath, enjoy the day and the fact that you have the luxury to be able to fly to your destination. There are many in this world that cannot afford to do so.
This world needs more compassion instead of entitlement.

not sure how to get that many points quickly without spending lots $$. Hotel stay via Southwest/Booking.com, dining, and SW shopping are the only ways I know outside of flights. Just checked flights and I can fly from MCI - TPA on Christmas eve, round trip for $1,734 to get 18,816 points, but not sure CP is worth the $1,734 ticket price for something you weren't really needing.

It's in the "other" category and shows "Customer Service Adjustment" in the description; only applying to Companion Pass Qualification. So not really sure if it is coming from Chase or Southwest.
Just curious what it could be. Not complaining and will take them, but....

I had the same thing - shows customer service adjustment! 10,455 points towards companion pass only. I was expecting some bonus points from the earn a 25% bonus that ended in September, but that should have only been about 4k points and those haven't hit yet.
I had a 10k points towards companion pass added on 10/27 also and can't for the life of me remember what those were for. Odd they are exactly 1 month apart.
Sure wish that if you earned over the 135k needed points for CP each year, the overage would transfer to the next year. 🙂

I received one also, and not sure either. Thought for sure it was the 2x CP points promotion but that doesn't end until November. Thought it would be a one time deposit of points. I'll take it though.
Too bad this time of year you can't apply bonus points like that toward the next year. 🙂 already earned CP this year, but thankful for the offer. Some years I would need it!
