They will post the same time your normal statement points post. You'll see the points earned from the purchases on the card and the anniversary points all added together for one posting to your RR account.

I usually cancel the original ticket first, but if for some reason it doesn’t allow you to, I would get in touch with SW customer service.
enjoy your companion pass! It’s a great benefit!

did you cancel her original ticket? You need to do that to get the points back and the fees.

If that statement date you are questioning is from 12/6/23 - 1/6/24, then the points would show up for 2024 year as your statement ends in 2024. you would have received all you were getting based on statement date for 2023 on your 12/5/23 statement.

because I spend enough on the card to get me enough points to never pay for an airline ticket for myself, husband, and 2 kids (now 4 with spouses) to go where we want every year.
I haven't paid for an airline ticket in a very long time (we're talking many years). We've also earned companion pass with it every year.
Only you can determine the value of the card for your use. For me, I will keep it forever.

according to Chase Bank FAQ's: When will I receive my points? Points earned on purchases appear in your Rapid Rewards account up to 30 days after your statement cycle date.
Patience grasshopper. I'd give it at least a few more days or a week and then start digging into it.

Keep in mind, it takes about 8 weeks for the points to post after the promotion has ended.

Not sure exactly, but think it would be more tied to the RR # for the bonus as that is what you are registering.

I've seen it in years past, but not this year (yet). Once they have completed their review, you will be able to see the current points.

I'm going to say it again.... you have a seat on the plane AND are not disabled (mentally or physically). You should be thankful for both.
Take a deep breath, enjoy the day and the fact that you have the luxury to be able to fly to your destination. There are many in this world that cannot afford to do so.
This world needs more compassion instead of entitlement.

not sure how to get that many points quickly without spending lots $$. Hotel stay via Southwest/Booking.com, dining, and SW shopping are the only ways I know outside of flights. Just checked flights and I can fly from MCI - TPA on Christmas eve, round trip for $1,734 to get 18,816 points, but not sure CP is worth the $1,734 ticket price for something you weren't really needing.

It's in the "other" category and shows "Customer Service Adjustment" in the description; only applying to Companion Pass Qualification. So not really sure if it is coming from Chase or Southwest.
Just curious what it could be. Not complaining and will take them, but....

You also select, when booking a trip, how you want to be notified of any changes (text, email, or call). This is on the payment page, so verify this when checking out on future flight purchases.

I had the same thing - shows customer service adjustment! 10,455 points towards companion pass only. I was expecting some bonus points from the earn a 25% bonus that ended in September, but that should have only been about 4k points and those haven't hit yet.
I had a 10k points towards companion pass added on 10/27 also and can't for the life of me remember what those were for. Odd they are exactly 1 month apart.
Sure wish that if you earned over the 135k needed points for CP each year, the overage would transfer to the next year. 🙂

I received one also, and not sure either. Thought for sure it was the 2x CP points promotion but that doesn't end until November. Thought it would be a one time deposit of points. I'll take it though.
Too bad this time of year you can't apply bonus points like that toward the next year. 🙂 already earned CP this year, but thankful for the offer. Some years I would need it!

my closing date is the 23rd-26th and points post a day or two after that. This gives most of the month of December to add to the current year CP points. I wouldn't want it to cut off much earlier than that, but that is what works for me.

the bonus rewards from the one that ended in June (I believe) took the full 8 weeks. The one that ended September says to allow 8 weeks also. I expect the last day of November for them to be issued.

We flew out of MCO to MCI on Saturday. Saw the same things happening. I like the enforcement. and the gate agents were very clear in their messages about 20 minutes before it was time to line up - if you have more than two bags, you will lose your boarding position until you can get it down to 2 bags...
Even heard it once we landed at MCI as another flight was getting ready to board.
Love Southwest!

sorry this happened to you. We had a similar instance where our luggage was out on the tarmac and lightening struck. They shut everything down and yes, our luggage was soaked. We knew the minute it came off the baggage conveyor belt.
You might check each rapid rewards number as we all 4 received a voucher for the wet clothing on that trip.

I didn't miss your point. You think because you CHOOSE (your words) to spend $50 extra dollars that you should have special treatment. This preboarding abuse has been going on forever. My advice, stop spending the additional $50.
When I'm traveling without my husband (who has cerebral palsy and does get to preboard), I stand back and watch the entertainment of the miracles taking place. Does it frustrate me, a little because they are potentially taking this opportunity away from someone who desperately needs it. Do I let it upset me enough to write a post like yours, heck no (especially when it's been written about before). Ultimately they are the ones who have to live with their decisions of doing something unethical, not me. Until they do a heart check and they realize it is the wrong thing to do and not right to abuse a system that wasn't put in place for them, they won't change. It's a people issue, not a SW issue.

This has been addressed many times. You really are complaining because 20 people board before you? At most, they will take up the first 3.333333 rows if they took every seat at the front of the plane.
Have some compassion. They are slow to board and could also have connecting flights to make and you are going to make them late getting to their next flight by putting them at the back of the plane?
I get that some abuse the system, but come on, you still have a seat on the plane. Pick an available seat, sit back and enjoy the flight to your destination.
