Earlier in the thread it was stated that the code had to be USED by 10/31/24. If true, getting the code now would not do you very much good.

This was not a "Customer of size" nor had they purchased the extra seat. The woman probably weighed about 120lbs and was about 5'5" tall. So, no extra size at all. Just being difficult and being vocal about it. She literally stated that she was a priority customer and that I should be sitting the back of the plane since I boarded towards the end. That is actually not a policy.
Ok...That appears to be a rare exception, especially by her response.
As mentioned, this is not normal. As a side note, any Window seat toward the front of the plane is my preference and whenever I find an open Window seat in a section but find that the Aisle (or both the Aisle and Middle) are already taken, I'll first ask if the window seat is available before claiming it. Of all the times I've asked, the other passengers say, "come on in!"
Had I encountered the lady in question upon approaching the seat, asked her the same question but she instead boasted over her A-List status and tried to tell me to go to the back of the plane, I would have simply moved further back to avoid an altercation and look for the next available open seat, but probably would have later discreetly advised a Flight Attendant of the incident because to your point, the passenger is entitled to one seat.

Time for SoCalFlyer97 to review the bookings back from WOW50 and prior Low Fare Sales...
It turns out after reviewing my bookings that WOW50 and the prior Low Fare Sale promotions were still the better deal for all my current reservations as of today instead of CYBER30. However, if you haven't booked your post-Christmas/New Year's winter trips yet, there still some good deals out there which makes the CYBER30 worth it; that was the case for me last year.

Yeah, the one Chase is offering is the one that you do after you check in for a flight -- within 24 hours of departure time.

That depends on what the T&Cs say about when Chase will credit the points. Do you have to wait til after 1/12 or if you pass $6k before your December statement closes will it be sooned.
I have not seen the T&Cs

It seems like there might be a misunderstanding or miscommunication in the process. If you have concerns about the offer or the application process, reaching out to the specific customer service for the credit card or the airline might provide more accurate and detailed information.

So evidently if daylight saving time ends during this period you are instructed to check in at the 23 hour point. Yes, this is happening to me this weekend.
That sounds consistent with past time changes - check in at the correct “number” hour as if it was usually 24 hours in advance even if it is 25 hours in the fall back or 23 hours in the spring forward.
This is the easiest way so the passengers don’t have to do the math on the time.

As an FYI- you can remove individual(s) from a flight reservation bought with points without torpedoing the whole reservation. There is the of credit of the $11.60 RT taxes which you can then apply to the companion when added (as long as it's the same person, if it was a WGA point fare.)
Recently did this successfully online for a couple of flights next year after I got my CP for 2024.

If they are using SWABIZ I believe there may be a favorable solution for the OP, As mentioned check with you employer/travel planner.

I'm not a SWABIZ member myself but I understood there to be overlapping benefits to the company but also the individual would maintain their own benefits as well.
There are a million people in the OP's boat where they are flying for business and then get to use the benefits when a personal trip comes up. It may trace back to who pays - if you are using expense reports then it's yours, if the company pays directly then the benefits are theirs.
You @KAforumSW should still get a tier qualifying benefit - which is one reason that you should NOT try to split into separate accounts if possible - even if the employer keeps all the points you would still be wanting to use A-list on your personal flights. If you go separate then you'd have to qualify separately for A-list on both accounts.

Greetings Everybody from SJC:
Flying today and landed in San Jose a short while ago...I was unable to confirm how the boarding order process went when leaving SAN this morning as my flight was the first to board in the concourse after passing through TSA and I was in the A group.
However, I stayed airside at SJC after arrival and watched some of the other gates board. Here is the order of the A & B in-between'rs that I observed:
WN 791 to STL: A-Listers w/o A position boarded after those needing extra time and Family Boarding, before military...same pattern as described in this topic.
WN 1809 to BUR: A-Listers, Family Boarding, and Military were cleared to board together after those needing extra time...different pattern.
WN 1466 to LAX: A-Listers boarded after those needing extra time but before Family Boarding and military...opposite of what is described.
There you have it. Not going to speculate on the actual policy but I would just be ready one way or another to board when directed to do so. Photo Trip Report to come...

Thanks for replying. I changed my fare to BS and paid $123 additional for a flight next week only in order to get some of the tier qualifying points to help me re-qualify for A-List Preferred. I also bought my companion wife EB so she won’t be near the last to board, and plan to use one of my four free Chase upgrade boarding positions for her at the T-24 check-in if available. But your suggestion is the best - to wait and buy BS at T-24 check-in after she has sequential boarding position and thus save the cost of EB plus get a better boarding position. I run the risk of BS being sold out (though often low risk) and gotta do what I can to re-qualify. I’ll do your suggestion on my flight after this one coming up. Thanks for your help.

I think such experiences happen with people and it's not always directly the fault of any company. Even tho there are cars with electric window operation, the manual ones are not extinct. And other cab services also have cars with different facilities, maybe you should ask for your requirements while booking.
Southwest does partnerships with brands for monetary and customer benefits. A partnership doesn't define a brands intentions and image completely.

@Jack2act I know this isn't the solution to what you are seeking, but, here goes anyway. As a senior myself (67) I am for the most part able bodied and have never even had a thought of trying to get any early access to boarding. But just as a individual I take no issue with any senior getting any extra benefit, in good faith or not, for any service. The more elderly they are, the more I accept that.

Chase likes to typically take what they purport as eight weeks after the promotion closes to put the earned points into your account. In reality they mean two months. For example the 20% bonus points on spending promotion ran from 3/1/2023 - 6/30/2023. I received my bonus points from this promotion on Monday August 28th. Eight weeks after the end of the promotion was 8/25/2023 (which is what Chase stated as the date the awards points would post in the fine print of the promotion).
