Numerous people have tried to explain Southwest isn't going to make changes to the app that will allow it to once again work on older phones. We've also offered alternative such as using the mobile site. You've been complaining about this since January 2017, I think it's time to accept the current situation and either take your business elsewhere or adopt one of the suggestions. Happy travels!

All international flights are subject to both governments being in agreement that the flights are allowed. These agreements can change or be cancelled at any time, thus Southwest's international flights could be impacted at any time. Under normal conditions, once an agreement is in place it tends to stay in place. There was a problem awhile back when starting new routes to Mexico and some of the initial flights were cancelled, but all appears to be running smoothly now. Are you looking at flights on a route currently being serviced or something new?

No need for the attitude, I was just letting you know how to resolve the problem should you desire to do so. Southwest is following guidance from Google regarding what operating system versions to support. And no, I don't work for Southwest. You could also access the Southwest mobile site instead of using the app, https://mobile.southwest.com

The "fix" is to upgrade your phone operating system or get a new phone. The minimum requirement to run the Southwest app is an operating system that is over 3 years old and it's the oldest version still supported by Google.

What type of fare did you purchase? Have you verified there are no travel funds available/associated with the reservation you wanted to cancel? Enter the confirmation number and name of the passenger as it was on the reservation on this page to double check. https://www.southwest.com/flight/travel-funds-search.html

Rebooking one flight shouldn't be a problem and bet that's just the standard legal text they need to include. I have rebooked to take advantage of other offers and never had a problem.

During checkout select "Apply Travel Funds" then enter the confirmation number and passenger name from the cancelled trip. The passenger name on the new reservation must match the cancelled reservation and travel for the new trip must complete within one year of the booking of the cancelled reservation. Let me know if that helps.

You'll need to call Southwest to get the name changed.

That is a very inconvenient "feature", I will add it to my long list of reasons it's almost always better to book one way flights versus round trip. If the outbound and inbound flights are booked separately you can check in at T-24 for each reservation. You could call and ask that the reservation be split into 2 PNRs, that should remove the limitation. Purchasing EarlyBird Check-In would also work.

You should be getting 4 coupons after every 10 paid flights, this does not include flights "paid" for by redeeming RR points. Have you flown that many flights since you last received coupons? SW credit card holders no longer get coupons as a benefit.

Only the person who actually flies can earn RR points from a flight from a flight. You can create an account for your daughter so she can start accruing points.

No catch, nothing to join, no club fees like those horrible ultra low-cost carriers. If you want the fare/flight that's the price you pay. Welcome to Southwest, post again if you have more questions.

If you purchased an adult (Wanna Get Away) fare for the child you won't need any documentation. If the child is going to be a lap child or you purchased a child fare ticket then you would need the documentation. I'm guessing that as long as the certificate is in a language that someone can read the name and see the numbers for a birth date then you should be ok. Languages such as chinese or arabic which are harder for english speakers to decipher might be a problem. If, based on the fare info I provided above, you need to provide documentation, you'll need to call Southwest for an official answer

Nothing has been announced and there's no schedule to make the announcement. Most likely flights will begin in 2019.

Check out this post for an explanation of why it's sometimes not possible to book international flights from smaller markets such as Tulsa. https://www.southwestaircommunity.com/t5/International-Travel/Flights-from-Punta-Cana/m-p/64759/highlight/true#M504 While it doesn't "fix" the problem, at least there's an explanation.

To clarify just a bit, if the Companion Pass holder's flight is a revenue flight (not using RR points), they would earn credit towards A-List status. The companion does not earn credit.

@christianm2b2 It's unclear if the $68 you say you would lose is all related to having to rebook at higher fares or includes the EarlyBird Checkin cost. EarlyBird is nonrefundable so if you cancel and rebook you would also be out the $60 you paid there, plus you'd probably want to repurchase EarlyBird on the flights you rebook since you wouldn't yet be A-List, so that's another $60. That's quite a bit of additional expense you would be incurring now to potentially save $15/flight for the remainder of the year. Yes, A-List gets slightly better boarding position and having a dedicated line to check-in bags is occasionally nice depending on whether you actually check bags, how busy the airport is, and how early you like to get to the airfield, but my guess is you'd be just as well buying EarlyBird Check-in for the remainder of the year. When you earn A-List by flying the standard 25 flights in a year you get the benefits for the remainder of the current calendar year AND the entire next calendar year. If this promotion was offering the same time period you'd probably be better off completing the A-List challenge. Hope that helps. Of course, this is all my opinion based on the limited info you provided so you'll need to evaluate for your specific situation and needs.

I don't think it's exactly what you're looking for, but you can see all flights between the two cities during an entire week on one screen if you search at https://www.southwest.com/air/flight-schedules/index.html I think this search, the standard booking screen search, and the low fare calendar are your only options unless you have access to a corporate travel system like Concur which (last time I looked) does allow you to search Southwest flights.

None. Kids under 18 years old do not need identification. You can use whatever name they go by when booking the flight.

Looks like Saturdays are a slow day at SDF with just one nonstop to BWI as opposed to Sundays when there are three non-stops on that route. There's a nice midday Sunday flight if you could make that work, but sounds like Southwest's schedule isn't going to work for you.

No, A-List benefits are only provided to the actual person who earned A-List, not to any other travelers on the reservation. Additionally, any points earned from the flight would go to the actual traveler regardless of who paid for the flight. Even if you don't anticipate these 2 people flying much it doesn't hurt to open RR accounts for them just in case. Even just occasional flying can build up a nice amount of points to use.
