Fresno would have to show ability to fill a few 737's per day, but it could be considered. MIA is a tough one, American Airlines has that airport locked up in terms of gates. Southwest could probably run operations at both FLL and MIA profitably, but without a major inititive/expansion by the city there won't be gates available.

I was travelling within 20 days of the expiry. But that does not matter here. Since we had two confirmation and was $ 200 bucks, instead of travelling during thanksgiving, we saved that for christmas holiday travel though it was only $ 200 forfeiture. Now when we actually called on to convert it to voucher, we lose $ 400. Utilized other airline for our thanksgiving travel since it was cheaper than SW. Guess what, we could have just utilized this travel fund. SW customer service mis-communicated costed me (not once but confirmed it twice).. Certainly, my use of travel fund on SW would be my last. Certainly lost a A list member ! I'm not sure I follow exactly what you're saying. It seems odd to me that an A-Lister (25 paid flights per year) wouldn't have had an opportunity to use travel funds prior to their expiration. But maybe I don't understand what you're saying? In case you're confused about how it works: Once expired, the fee to reissue travel funds as a voucher is $100 per confirmation number / passenger. If a passenger has multiple travel funds under multiple confirmation numbers, they can combine them via a "dummy" booking prior to expiration. This will generate a single confirmation number. Sorry if this is too late to be of any good to you.

If these points dont post to my account until January, will these points count towards companion pass since i earned them in the Calendar year? Thanks for any info! Hi. I can't tell you when your points will postas Chase controls that. They wil count towards companion pass in the year they hit your RR acount regardless of the referral year. If the processing is timed just right, they might even split the new year with one coming this year and one next, I don't know if Chase does these in batches or not.

From SW's site: "Tier qualifying points are earned from revenue flights booked through Southwest Airlines® or through the use of the Rapid Rewards® Priority or Premier Credit Cards (1,500 tier qualifying points for every $10,000 in eligible net purchases on that card, up to 15,000 tier qualifying points per year)." All credit card points do count toward Companion Pass qualification. To be clear, credit card bonus points are not A-List qualifying. ("Bonus points" are ones received from things like sign-up bonuses, annual anniversary, special bonus offers, etc.) The only credit card points that are A-List qualifying are as you mentioned (but which are not referred to as "bonus" points): Rapid Rewards® Priority or Premier Credit Cards (1,500 tier qualifying points for every $10,000 in eligible net purchases on that card, up to 15,000 tier qualifying points per year) Note that these "points" aren't actually redeemable, they are just a special accounting category of tier-qualifying points. When you earn these points, in your RR account you'll see them listed and "Credit Card" points, with a value of 0. If you filter by "Tier Qualifying Points" you'll see them itemized with a value of 1,500.

Sorry you will not find that answer here. The last opening for a Flight Attendant job was 2/5/18 and now is closed. "In order to remain consistent in our hiring practices and to be fair to all applicants, they only accept applications for a specific position, and only when the job listing is active on the Careers page." The flight attendant positions would only be listed under the city of Dallas Texas, the Southwest Airlines main headquarters. Thumbs down to the website. UGH> So I have to book the flight first? Do I get a refund fo my companion? Doesn't make sense. Sorry you're having difficulty -- the process is really quite easy. Book the flight for the Companion Pass holder first, making sure they are either logged into their Rapid Rewards account or their Rapid Rewards number is correctly entered (if, for example, you're booking a flight for them using your points while logged into your account). Then the Companion Pass holder can log into their Rapid Rewards account, find the upcoming flight under My Account > My Trips, and click on "Add Companion." Note: -- You must designate a companion before doing so. -- You may sometimes need to wait briefly after booking for the Add Companion link to show up. (If necessary, log out and back in.) Good luck!

We have always done family boarding even flying out of Orlando where there are usually a lot of families. With 4 of us (one being a lap child) we have always been able to sit together usually around the wings but never all the way to the back! We’ve done this on multiple flights (out of SDF, RDU, BWI, IND, CVG, MCO, ELP, and DAL) and never had an issue! I only ever buy early bird if I’m on work travel and going to be tied up at check-in time. I also have used the upgraded boarding position option at the gate mostly because of the perks that come with the RR credit card for this!

@mjoos1814 wrote: Hi! I've been travelling (exclusively) with SWA for years as a disabled person, and the only issue that I sometimes have is that one of my disabilities can sometimes be invisible (that is, I don't always need to use my cane or other assistive mobility devices). When I check in and say I don't need a wheelchair, I'm told to get a pre-board ticket at the gate, which is fine. When I get to the gate and ask, though; I'm often given the side-eye and reluctantly given the pre-board ticket because I don't look disabled. I don't feel as if I should have to prove my disability to the gate agents, nor do I think I should have to use my assistive mobility devices on a rare day when I'm actually feeling well enough to not have to use them just to justify needing to pre-board. You may ask why I need to pre-board if I'm feeling well, which is fair. The way my disability works, it's basically an either/or situation - I can either walk around the airport or I can use my energy (my spoons, if one is familiar with The Spoon Theory) standing in line with my carry-ons, looking for a seat, etc. By the time I've done all of that, I will most likely need a pre-board at my layover, so it's just easier to initiate the process from the beginning and save my spoons for the rest of the day. Is there a way this can be addressed? Thank you so much! Our Agents ought to ask whether the Customer needs help to board and in the event that they require a particular seat installed to oblige an inability to decide whether a Customers meets all requirements for preboarding. Our Employees get preparing and ought to perceive that not all inabilities are promptly evident; in any case, I'm sad if your collaborations haven't been charming before.

Southwest employs a rolling update when it updates it's schedule -- it's not all at once. The process takes several hours. Now two hour after your post, it is likely to have been completed. So you should be able to look at flights to the west coast.

I would go back to your confirmation email and see if your RR number is on the reservation as there are times it may jump off especially if you make the reservation over the phone if it says join or add number under the RR then you would need to request past flight points after 48 hours of your flight completion as @franktravel stated. If you are booked on a RT flight all travel must be complete before points will post to your account if you need further assistance just let me know Blake

Hi Its all about supply and demand. Airlines know the months of high demand and they will try to fill the plane with the higher price fares. As departure date gets close and they have not filled the seats they start to open up the lower fares. I would suggest check every day because the Wanna Get Away fare could open up.
