There is only one way I know to add it to your account which would be booking a flight that uses the whole voucher (voucher won't cover taxes) then once you book you can cancel the booking and the voucher then becomes a travel fund which will show up in your travel fund list. Only down side is this makes the voucher non transferable so if you aren't sure if you will use it then I wouldn't do this method. If your fine with losing the transferable part here's how you do it: So let's say you have a $100 voucher find a flight for around $130 you pay the taxes then you can cancel the flight within 24 hours (you can cancel immediately) you can ask for the amount you paid with a credit card to be refunded the voucher funds will be held under the confirmation number once you cancel the flight. This only works if you have a rapid rewards account. -Blake

A lawsuit will do you and others no good it will just cost you money for nothing. Southwest or any other airline for that matter could say tomorrow that they are ending their frequent flyer programs and points will be void and you would be out of luck. Obviously that won’t happen because that would cause a company to potentially go bankrupt but yes they can end the program or change it at anytime without notice to the public.

If you are on the same confirmation number then only one of you needs to do the online check in as the system will check everyone in that’s on the same confirmation number. Both of you could try doing it and maybe one of you has a faster finger at the 24 hour mark but it’s not necessary. with arriving to the airport you just give your ID and your son can give his ID when he arrives and they will check the bags under each of you or if you use the kiosk then once you enter the confirmation number just select the appropriate name and you will be good to go. No need to arrive together. if you are on different confirmation numbers make sure both of you are online at 24 hours before your flight to check in but with check in at the airport again you can check in at different times and it’s not a big deal just enter your confirmation number check your bag and head through security and you can meet up once all have arrived at the gate. -Blake

One Round trip I took to DAL yesterday was $53 yes round trip Maybe prices will go down for you once flights start resuming to pre covid levels up there. Now back on topic with the pet fee sorry your disappointed your best bet is to Contact Customer Relations to express your displeasure with the fee so they can document it but as others have stated other airlines charge $100-$125 each way so at least your saving a little bit with Southwest as of now. -Blake

@TheMiddleSeat wrote: Serving alcohol requires payment which leads to additional contact between the crew and passengers. I suspect there's no desire to increase contact points at this time. The saving money comment makes absolutely zero sense since it's a money maker. --TheMiddleSeat Maybe customers could pay through the entertainment portal of course that is hit and miss when it actually works and with coupons that would require more contact. I'm guessing the end of the year or early next year for alcohol to return but of course I have no control over that just my guess

If you don't have a rapid rewards number attached to your reservation you could try reaching out to Southwest on Facebook or Twitter in a DM and hopefully they can assist. You could also call 800-435-9792 and they might be able to look it up with the credit card you used to book the flight. -Blake

I did notice points were devalued overnight. One example a flight I booked yesterday which was $90 or 5,400 points now it is 5,900 points still only $90 for the flight. I am surprised that no email went out and hopefully an email will come out soon because I know several people that won't be happy to read about the points devaluation.

The max flights look to go to a larger schedule next week. In this first phase they had about 30 flights a day but next week that goes up (unless the electrical issue grounds them a week or 2)

Most of the MAX planes have been pulled from service at this time but not sure when those will return to service. By the way on March 11th I took 2 MAX flights on Southwest (the day SW resumed MAX flights) and they went without a hitch and I'm still alive. Left and arrived early on both flight and that M word that we don't like was never mentioned.

You can register for the A List promotion on the website and still book on the app With the app vs website I like parts of each With the website i like that I can see points history vs on the app I can't On the app I find it easy to book and change flights and with the app it makes boarding a plane much easier (mobile boarding passes don't exist on the website) -Blake

Once your funds expire you can Contact Customer Relations and ask for an extension of the travel funds in the form of a LUV voucher. This voucher would be good for 6 months however there is a $100 fee per travel fund. This fee is subject to change and being issued the voucher is on a case by case basis. Keep in mind you can only request this once your funds expire so this would mean you would be booking much closer to your travel date. -Blake

Most southwest promotions require a member to register then book then travel however with this promotion I noticed when I registered another family member the A List status showed up instantly on their account. The terms of the offer do say this: During the Promotional Time Period you will not receive an A-List card, but you will receive all A-List status benefits on all flights booked after registering when you provide your Rapid Rewards account number in your reservation. Valid on new reservations booked and flown within the Promotional Time Period only. so it acts like you would need to register book then travel however since the status shows up instantly I’m not sure if it will auto check in older reservations.

If you have multiple travel funds you would have to combine them yourself. Keep in mind you can only combine funds for each person individually. Meaning if you personally have 2 funds say $200 and another fund in your name for $100 you should book any flight you can find for $300 then cancel it. This way when the funds expire and you call to request the extension it will only be $100 instead of $200. Keep in mind if each person in your group has 1 fund then you will each lose $100 and you can't combine your funds with someone else's. -Blake

If you are traveling with a service animal you can request to pre board. You didn't need to pay extra to get the "business Select" ticket. With seats not being available I only see 3 ways that this happens 1. Your on a connection flight and your first flight was late and your 2nd flight had started boarding before you arrived 2. You were late to the gate at boarding 3. Southwest has flights that go from A-B-C-D also called a thru flight in this case if someone is going From A-C on the same plane they get to stay on the plane when the plane arrives at midway point B and FAs usually allow those staying on the plane to switch seats before your flight boards. In this case I occasionally see lots of thru passengers but the most i have seen was 57 (a group booking that i was apart of and another volleyball team) that was 4 years a go. Now days the most I have seen is 19 (was actually last night on a DTW-BNA-PHX route) even with this many people it won't make every seat taken. sure maybe the bulk head is full but rows 2-11 should have at least 1 seat for you if you boarded in your A1-15 group when it was called. Your welcome to Contact Customer Relations however I'm not sure there is much they can do other than document your feedback. -Blake

I also agree it would be nice to save frequent travelers info on our profile that way no matter which method you use to book you can just make a click or 2 and make life much easier and it would help when it comes to booking a flight with just a couple seats left as typing out all the info can make a difference in getting the flight or not. If you are using an IPhone to book your flight maybe this will help for the time being. How can my iPhone help store info for frequently booked travelers? --Blake
