Well in life everybody and everything gives us one disappointment at some time. My wife has, my children have, my boss has, my car, my phone, and the list goes one. (As I have to them as well) f this is your first, then just chalk it up as that one. You started off with a statement of "good service" and being loyal. That means that you both have had a good relationship up to now. Yes, it was a trip with your significant other and I totally understand that. If SWA lets you down again, then I'd say you have good cause to vent, and I for one, will listen.

If you bought a fully refundable ticket, you can get your money back. If you bought a non refundable ticket, you will get a travel fund.

If the airline can keep getting good fares, then they'll have more reason to keep the middle seats open longer. I hope so as well. I have some travel planned in October which will be under the current requirements. Otherwise I'll be very interested to find those less busy flights if possible.

IMHO, the reason to strive for A-List Preferred is the 100% points earning bonus. At $8/day (less with the credit card discount), and with sometimes iffy performance, the wifi isn't a major perk.

And maybe this is the COVID's fault too. You're right Chicgoflyer. Now that I think of it, maybe it wasn't the home page, but the my account page. Went there today and there it was. I guess I had thought it was HOME.

What @TheMiddleSeat @said. Just be certain that when you apply, enter your RR # on the application so that you don’t get a new one with the card. This NerdWallet article might be helpful in deciding which card is best. Happy flying.

@CassioBanquo wrote: Upon informing SW staff of a medical condition exasperated by a mask, the only option presented was a credit/refund. Apparently people simply can not travel if they have a medical disability. This is true -- right now, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people cannot travel on Southwest and many other US carriers if their medical disability restricts the use of a face covering. I applaud Southwest for enforcing the wearing of masks onboard. The science is clear that mask wearing helps prevent the spread of corona virus, especially in situations where social distancing is not possible, such as on board an airplane. Unfortunately, for anyone who can't or who refuses to wear a mask, air travel is simply not safe for them or other passengers at the moment.

No. Unfortunately. Only paid flights count toward A List or Companion Pass qualification. Learn more about A List qualification here.

Thank you so much. This helps quite a bit. So I think best would be to get CC for myself a primary cardholder and working reaching that companion pass rather this year than next.

If you didn't cancel and rebook the flights within the 24 hour period of booking them, you can simply go on the Southwest web site or app and change the flights, and the difference in price will be a travel credit that you can use in the future (until 2022). --Jessica

@w5aj wrote: The problem ... I bought (in error instead of using points) three tickets for other family members. The tickets are not in my name but the $$funds$$ to purchase were on my SW Visa RR card. Those family members can transfer to points then transfer the points to me. A REAL PITA (PAIN) . folks at SW know that can be done but making process less painful isn't in their cards and really kinda horsey about doing it the long painful way. I told guy at SW customer Service to expect FAA complaint but they were fine with that.... Robert (A+ priority member) Sorry you are disappointed, but the airline is operating in exactly the manner it promised it would operate in it's contract of carriage. You agreed to it when you bought the tickets. Another point, don't have others transfer points to you because it costs money to do so - thus diminishing the value of the points. Instead have those people use the points to buy tickets for you.

What you were seeing is totally normal, and it was just the AC. Read all about it here: Fog in Your Airplane Cabin? No Worries, It’s Cool (Literally) I can totally understand reacting weirdly to the scene, though. That happened to me the first time I ever saw this happen! You can learn all about what SW is doing from a COVID cleanliness perspective here: Southwest Promise If you would like additional information directly from the airline, you can use the Contact Us methods below. This is a customer community. Hope this helps!

Yeah at this point it will be a wait and see how the conversation works once the feature is released hopefully we get full points credit for the travel funds without some kind of deduction because we make the funds points. I didn't see this earlier. Just to be clear, my comment was regarding the exchange rate when using RR points to book rental cars through More Rewards, not the rate to convert Travel Funds to RR points (which is 78 points/$1, as expected).

Def a difficult situation. I understand that SW is doing all it can to preserve and drive business and also protect it's employees. I appreciate what they continue to do related to this situation, but I know that I don't trust anyone else to clean for me. When I fly again, I'll be bringing all my own cleaning supplies to take matter into my own hands. That takes the measures SW is already taking one step further.

Just like I think SW needs to be reminded of a not so good experience a passenger has, so should they be acknowledged when they have done something good. use the avenues provided and thanks for your caring to let SW know.

It could be that either they removed non-stops for your route, so they moved you to connecting through FL, or there are non-stops but not ones close to your originally scheduled time. Either way, you have choices; I would make the desired changes as soon as possible.
