You probably don’t know that, as of today, 56% of US population is injected. A lot of nurses got fired because they refused to be injected. Ask “why”?

Appreciate the replies. For an update, I just spoke to Southwest, there reply was they eliminated flights because of Covid 19. Obviously they changed the flights for that week to more reasonable rates this morning. Makes sense they were so high for a short time so customers weren’t booking.

@Lmkel68 wrote: I say just make sure they're properly protected and get on your flight. It is a recommendation, it is not mandatory. Depending on where you are planning to travel to, it may be prudent to still make the trip. (For example if you were ending a vacation and returning home.) If so, take all of the recommended precautions. As mentioned earlier, if you cancel you receive travel funds good for one year from the original date of issue. If however Southwest cancels your flight, you can receive a full refund. It may be prudent to wait and see what happens, keeping in mind that you can cancel as late as 10 minutes prior to departure and not be considered a no-show. If canceling remotely online, I personally wouldn't allow it to get so close -- I'd probably cancel no later than an hour prior -- but do keep in mind that that is an option. Good luck.

When I last talked with the More Rewards office they offered to do a "one-time complimentary replacement" on ONE of the orders. I had three orders. One was for $100, one for $125, and one for $150. Of course, the one they were going to replace was the one for $100 and I still don't have their "one-time complimentary offer" in my mailbox.

@Lmkel68 wrote: My flight last month was cancelled and I had to fly out the NEXT morning. If you go to twitter, you will see the same generic response to the cancellations. I'm not sure what SW has going on but I hope they get it together. All of these cancellations cannot be weather related. My personal opinion is it has something to do with issues with their mechanics. Southwest reached an agreement with the mechanics so that is not the problem. Currently the MAX8 is grounded which is affecting flights and yes weather has been a factor as well and will be in the coming days as well since there is some tropical moisture headed up from the gulf which could affect flights. Also with being told your flight was delayed or canceled due to weather the plane could have been affected by weather before arriving to you which is why they they would say your flight was delayed because of weather even if weather is perfect at your departure and arrival airport.

They do not give refunds for weather related cancellations. They will, however give you a discount on a room and nothing else.

@elijahbrantley wrote: While there may not be a "policy," I have seen that happen many times before, and every time, I have seen the gate agent kindy remind the person that they are in the wrong group and will need to wait for the appropriate time. You should certainly compare positions with anyone around you. I think you posted a portion of this story on another thread - the new info here is that B40 was boarding with her friend who presumably was in the correct A-number position? So in that case it is obviously someone who knows they are sneaking in, which my other advice about letting someone know in case they aren't aware of how boarding works, etc. etc. wouldn't apply. There isn't a great option here, I haven't ever seen anyone notify the gate agent about someone cheating. Often if they catch them then they get bumped back, but if they are in a mode of scanning, scanning, scanning then they will just go through, I haven't seen any evidence that the scanning software itself would make an alert for someone out of order. This is probably even tougher on mobile boarding passes since the gate agent wouldn't see the position until it was already scanned. In a practical sense if the A-person was going to save a seat for the B-person anyway, then it's somewhat academic for one person to do this that would be sitting in a middle seat anyway. All I can suggest in this case is letting the gate agent know that you saw someone sneak through, maybe they'll take that as an incentive to be more stringent on future flights.

@Lmkel68 wrote: The only issue I had was a B40 person boarding in front of mein my A40 spot. I think they should make sure people board where they are supposed to board @TheMiddleSeat wrote: @Lmkel68 buying it as early as possible before your flight does help, but I'm curious what you weren't pleased with? High A and single digit B boarding positions aren't too shabby, especially if it's a heavy business traveler (A-List) route. Impossible to say what you would have received without EBCI but for not having to remember to check-in exactly 24 hours prior, those boarding positions seem pretty good to me. --TheMiddleSeat Feel free to point it out if you see someone obviously not following the program, in some cases these may be simply unaware and then the gate agent will either catch them or not. Othertimes it may be someone deliberately trying to sneak on, and again either caught or not but if you point it out maybe they'll give up the attempt. A third case might be that they asked for some special dispensation to board with someone else which may be given sometimes, i.e. their spouse was right in front or something. Anyway - it doesn't have to be confrontational, just ask the person what their position is as you are trying to decide if you are in front or in back of them, just the facts. If they say "B40" then maybe they just need help getting to the right spot. Either way it would be behind you and the next person behind you can have the same negotiation if necessary.

@Mariek92 wrote: Yes, that’s good advice. It seems like they are only canceling the flights that aren’t full. I wish they weren’t doing this at the last minute. The other airlines with the MAX have been able to avoid this- Southwest could too. I got a letter from Southwest’s President today saying they are trying to do better. It was probably sent to those who had a cancelled flight. It was sent to everyone, I also got it but have not had a canceled flight. Actually I meant the opposite on the flight status - if Southwest is still selling seats on a flight then then it's clearly not slated for a later evaluation. If there was a flight out there in limbo, they may put the selling of additional seats on "hold" while they figure it out.

@Rkelleher,
Firstly - so sorry to hear about the triple charge. The right thing to do is make sure you get a refund, and we will do just that.
If you've sent your information to us via the web form on the Southwest.com "Contact Us" page, you should receive a response with 7-10 business days. Did you receive a Service Request number?
