@byrdbrain591 More of like download reading material or movie to watch. Comedy should be of first choice. For instance: Jeff Foxworthy along with his comedy partners. It should be more of relaxing atomsphere whilist on flight. This is my best choice.

@Shellbell_76377 Southwest employees should have a "Southwest" icon next to their name, see @NicoleAshley for example. I can't speak for others but I am a frequent poster so you may see my name repeatedly too. I am definitely not employed by Southwest, I'm here for a host of reasons, to include to try to help others.

I agree, it would also help when managing my expense reports by going to one place, "my trips". I will also send this suggestion to customer service.

I'm needing to purchase round trip tickets 4/11-4/18. One option is to purchase two one-way tickets, the outbound now and the return when the schedule for the return date opens. When you buy round-trip tickets Southwest just adds together the cost of two one-way tickets to give you the round-trip price. I prefer to buy two one-way tickets when I'm flying on Southwest, regardless of schedule availability.

Southwest doesn't seem to be concerned with losing customers. SW doesn't lose any more customers than any other airline - probably less. A certain subgroup of passengers have it "up to here" and swear off an airline every year. I've done it. There are reasons SW flies more people in the lower 48 than anyone else (and has for years), as well as having the best customer satisfaction score of major airlines. Sorry to hear you are leaving..If / when you get tired of the various fees the others charge, feel free to return.

I’m “one of those” that saves seats, when traveling with my family. I do have a few rules I like to abide by: no row before row 9 and definitely not an exit row. I fly enough that I’m one of the first 3 passengers to board after Business Select, but my family ends up in late A or early B. Saving the exit row is a “no no” in my opinion. Excessive seat saving in the front is a “no no” too. I’ve been on a flight where 2 ladies held 13 seats for friends, in the first 7 rows. 🙄

That "0 Points" indication is an odd one -- it took me a while to figure out that it meant you had crossed the $10,000 in purchases threshold and earned 1,500 tier-qualifying points (on certain cards). Generally, it's accompanied by a regular points earning value that has the same posting date. When you change the "point type" filter it makes this more clear. All Points: Changing to Tier Qualifying Points: If you're missing a corresponding regular points value, it may show up on Southwest's side a day or two later. If it doesn't, you'll unfortunately need to follow up again with Southwest. Good luck!

Hi @ckeola, yes you will get an email informing you of the next steps (such as a phone interview/in-person interview etc etc) and how to proceed with those. You will also see an update in your application portal. This is also true in case they decide not to move forward with your application, you will get an email and portal update informing you of the same. Good luck!

The best part of this entire thread is the OP somehow getting a boarding assignment of "C62." I hope you framed that boarding pass! Despite the one other recent poster having a somewhat similar run of bad luck, there's no conspiracy here. Your boarding position is assigned based on a variety of factors already outlined. If you 'wait' to check in and you don't have A-List, EB, etc., you are all but guaranteed to get a C position. There are exceptions: mainly when flights are not 100% full. There have been times when I forgot to check in for a few hours, got a C, and was able to manage an aisle seat. Rare, but it happens. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones 😉 --Jessica

It doesn’t take much flying on SW to understand that this was an isolated incident. SW didn’t even have to state that this is out of character for them for me to know it is out of character for them. But I have to leave it up to them to handle it appropriately, and I expect that they will. And political leanings aside, I won’t boycott the airline with the best customer service in the biz over the actions of one, however irresponsible.

My wife has arthritic knees and must get up and walk up and down the aisle several timed during each flight. Thus, she needs an aisle seat at the front or back of the plane. To quote Southwest's rule: [She has] a specific seating need to accommodate [her] disability . We get EBCI as a matter of course as it is worth it to me to not have to watch the clock to check in. Even getting B-20s boarding positions we have never had a situation where we have not gotten the seat arrangement she needs. We could probably get early boarding based on her seating need, but it really isn't necessary. If only some of the people who use early boarding would think "is this really necessary or is there another way to get the seat I need" it could reduce the number of preboarders and the stigma that is attached to them throughout these forums.

In regards to the nonstops to Vegas disappearing, you can add me to that list, as nonstops from PHL to LAS went away this year (2019). My last nonstop was booked in October 2018. I just make do and book flights with stops. To the previous poster: I can't believe not having a nonstop flight would stop you from going to Vegas altogether! Not me, I love Vegas too much lol. But I believe these flight consolidations, at least this year's, are obviously due to the MAX 8 grounding issues. --Jessica
