Absolutely its a good deal. I was smarting over having to pay 20,390 miles for a flight I booked for my niece. One way; but it was absolutely the only/best flight itinerary for her. When the 20% offer presented, I decided the best way to capture it/rebook her flight was to cancel the booking. Then I turned around and immediately booked the same flight for
16, 312 miles. A savings of 4,078 miles.

My Aunt received the same email after contacting SW several times either via phone or the Contact Us option. She finally received her points after establishing a Twitter account, following Southwest Airlines, and then sending them a Direct Message (DM) with all of her information (case number, flight number, confirmation number, RR #). DO NOT reply to their posts but instead send a direct message (that will ensure that you are not giving out personal info to the Twitter world). It worked for her (and I've read where it has worked for others). Try it. You have only 16 more days to claim.

If you have a Twitter account, then follow Southwest Airlines. After you follow, send a Direct Message (DM) and provide your case number(s) if you created any via the SW Contact Us page. Also provide your confirmation and flight numbers. Give them every detail. DO NOT REPLY to any posts otherwise it will more than likely be removed (not to mention you don't want to supply your personal info as a reply). Send a Direct Message.

After 3 emails/cases opened and a plethora of phone calls to Customer Service for my senior citizen Aunt, no success in getting the 25K points...until I read this thread. Had her create a Twitter account (she already had FB) and we sent a couple of DMs via both. 1 1/2 days later she finally received a response via Twitter and this is what the rep said: "...It appears there was a glitch with your points code and I will have to manually add the points to your account....".
We initially redeemed her code for the points on Jan 26. I'm so glad this is over.

Thanks to all for your comments. I actually just kept checking daily on the flight totals, and in the last week, it has decreased twice! It now is at it's lowest price for four passengers on the same ticket.
I will keep checking, but I am happy with this point total. More points back for more future flights!

Maybe at a minimum they can issue you a luv voucher for the cost of EB check in if not a refund this situation reminds me of the 1st year I earned a list I bought EB for the return when I would have been A List unnecessarily I reached out and they refunded me (6 years a go)

Is it that the points are 1) pending in your RR Shopping account but not confirmed 2) have not yet posted to your RR Shopping account OR, 3) have not appeared in your SW RR account?
If either 1 or 2 above, then by day 16, you should log into your RR Shopping account and then click on "My Account" from the top left drop down. At the bottom is a Contact Us link where there is an option "Order Inquiry or missing points". Complete all of the required fields. Within a few hours you should receive an acknowledgement email with the opportunity to attach additional info. Then reply to the email with a copy of your receipt. Within 3 days it's usually resolved. SW indicates on some stores' landing page that you only have a certain number of days to dispute. It's best to do it at day 16.

Hmmmm...the summer international flights have increased by at least $60 since February for BS, AT, and WGA.
They can be changed, but they don't fluctuate on a daily basis. I'm sure there has been a bump in the recent time period from the winter.

Okay, he's right for 2000 points. The sale is only on larger quantities. Then they get down to 1.6 cents. My bad. And the cost in points you're quoting does not include the taxes, which is why it seems so cheap. 8000 points is worth about $140. So you may pay $50 in taxes plus the points, or around $200 cash. Either way it seems cheap and you want to consume the points either way. The nice thing is further cost reductions go back to the buyer's points, not to travel funds tied to each traveler. So there's no risk purchasing now.

If you used the LUV voucher to buy a flight then cancelled the flight that voucher would become a travel fund and you can then see that under the travel funds page on your account. If you want to see how much is left on the voucher you would need the voucher number and security code as already mentioned.

Jealous! I wonder how prizes went "unclaimed" - you didn't have to claim points prizes, so it's a little confusing how they are giving more points away now.
