The proviso here is that f you have a connecting flight   ..and..   if it is a tight connection ..or.. Your first flight is suffi iently late ..   that you get to the gate of the connecting flight after boarding starts, that you might not board as a1-a15, but instead as whatever position is boarding when you get to the gate. ... Even if you buy multiple tickets then you’ll forfeit the extras as “no show” when you get there and then scan the boarding pass for yourself that’s all you get - the additional seats will be marked no show and forfeit.   Potentially there will end up being empty seats on the plane, but you won’t be guaranteed to have them next to you.   *the last place I would sit on a plane is next to someone with three pets but I’m allergic, it may not bother some people or they might even enjoy it.     ... I assume that you have a new Chase RR card. I saw that becasue     RR points automatically move to your SW RR account after each Chase CC statement. About the only way you could have 88k points on your card is for it to be a new card and your statement hasn;t yet been issued.   If what I descirbed is accurate, you should get your RR points after your next Chase CC statement. ...
