If one of my employees are traveling however i am not, will i still receive the bonus points in my act? I think you would receive them as having booked the rooms and provided your RR number. I'm not sure if the hotel must report your name specifically on the booking or not. If the wording says booking and not "stay" then I think you should earn the points.

The travel funds from the cancelled flight can be used to purchase multiple flights, $200 credit can be used to buy $70, $90, and a $40 flight or applied towards a more expensive flight, using a credit card to cover the remaining balance, BUT all travel must complete within one year of when you originally purchased the reservation you canceled AND the travel funds can only be used by the passenger(s) that were on the original, canceled reservation. If the original purchase was $100 for passenger A and $100 for passenger B, that's how the travel funds have to be applied to a future purchase. Hope that clarifies things for you --TheMiddleSeat Did this or any other comment in the thread answer your question? Spot on. Now that 2 one-way flights are almost always the same price as a round trip flight, with SWA I've only been booking 1-way domestic flights for several years now and this is one of the reasons why -- especially since SWA doesn't charge a cancellation or change fee.

Addendum to lastly: don't post personal information the forum @Leesunkyu - you may wish to edit the post to remove the RP number. This forum is for other helpful flyers to chime in, Southwest's customer service department won't get your information from here, you'll have to call the customer service who can help you as @TheMiddleSeat has mentioned.

The satelite bandwidth available for 2-way internet service is limited, which is why the service quality varies so drastically. If there are too many people using it, it slows to a crawl. (I've actually given up on even trying anymore, after getting burned many, many times.) It's also very expensive. Some reports I've read suggest that Southwest offers it at a net loss, just because to be competitive they have to at least appear to offer a service that business travelers require. There are some announced wifi improvements looming on the horizon -- I certainly hope they help with overall connectivity. But until that bandwidth opens up, or becomes cheaper, I very much doubt we'll be seeing any of the great suggestions made here offered.

Looks like @DancingDavidE already said most of what I was thinking, but I had it typed out already so here you go... @JFGREEN72, it sounds like there is some misunderstanding about how EarlyBird Check-in works and how the overall Southwest check-in process works. EBCI secures a boarding position (letter and number) for you 36 hours before departure. At that same time A-List members are also assigned their boarding position. This is not visible to the customer and at this point in time you can not determine what your assigned boarding position is. At 24 hours prior to departure all customers can start the check-in process and must check-in at some point (up to 10 minutes before departure) regardlesss of whether or not they were already assigned a boarding position. Again, being assigned a position at 36 hours does not change any of the process and you still have to click the button that says "check-in". If you were assigned a number at 36 hours prior to departure you can check in at 24 hours prior or 1 hour prior and you will still get the same boarding position. In summary, the system works, it's just not visible to the customer what is happening and the wording used during the process doesn't do a good job confirming that EBCI did anything. Please let us know if you have additional questions or want anything else clarified. I'm also curious what boarding position you got. --TheMiddleSeat Did this or any other comment in the thread answer your question? I flew Japan Airlines in 2010. I don't remember much. I guess that means I need to fly them again?! I flew Emirates in 2013. Very impressive! The women greeted us in business suits with skirts and head pieces. The men greeted us in business suits with vests. (They took their jackets off for the duration of the flight.) They handed us wash clothes to wash our hands as soon as we sat down. They also gave us stickers to use for service. One sticker to receive service and one sticker for "do not disturb". Based on what I wanted at the time, I put the sticker on my seat and the crew responded accordingly. What a fun way to take the awkward "Do I wake her up or do I let her sleep?" out of the food service. I've heard amazing compliments about Singapore Airlines and hope to fly them one day. (If you haven't been to Singapore, it is a MUST! I've been to more than 25 countries in the last seven years. I can easily say Singapore is one of my favorite countries and is, by far, my favorite Asian country.) But in the end, Southwest still has my heart. Cheers! ILV2fly

You should have received emails containing your confirmation numbers when you booked and when you canceled the reservations. If you don't have them you may be able to call Southwest and ask for assistance. At one point you could retrieve information over the phone if you had the credit card number you used to make the purchase, but I don't know if that's still an available option. Good luck --TheMiddleSeat Did this or any other comment in the thread answer your question? The passenger names listed in your email confirmation are the names that were ticketed. Viewing the reservation in the My Trips portion of your RR account does not include the middle name. That is a rather odd discrepency. I can't check right now, but you may want to try viewing the reservation at https://www.southwest.com/air/manage-reservation/index.html to see if that provides a different result. If your email is correct then you don't have anything to worry about. --TheMiddleSeat Did this or any other comment in the thread answer your question? New Rapid Rewards double points promotion! This one does not appear to be targeted to specific people so everyone should register! Log into your RR account on southwest.com, then go to My Account and click on Promotions. As with most Southwest promotions you must register FIRST, then book flights. You can also cancel and rebook existing reservations, but making a change to an existing reservation does NOT count. Always best to read ALL the fine print. Here's the summary from the website: You can earn double points on every flight you book through Southwest Airlines® and complete by June 13, 2018! Whether you're traveling for business or for pleasure, you'll get 12 bonus points per dollar spent on Business Select® Fares, 10 bonus points per dollar spent on Anytime Fares, and six bonus points per dollar spent on Wanna Get Away® Fares. Simply register, book, and travel: Register for this promotion between April 6 and June 13, 2018. Book your flights between April 6 and June 13, 2018. Complete your flights between April 6 and June 13, 2018. --TheMiddleSeat

I just remembered and wanted to add that the area is really into astronomy. The city regulates how much light there is at night, many areas don't have street lights, so the night sky is full of stars. If you're even the least bit curious about astronomy check out the many clubs and presentations that occur in town. --TheMiddleSeat

Unfortunetly this is "normal" behavior, Southwest appears to be blocking some international traffic to their servers and has been doing this for quite some time so I don't expect it will start working any time soon. My suggestion would be to use VPN software/app which would make it appear as if your computer/phone was located in the US. --TheMiddleSeat Did this or any other comment in the thread answer your question?
