Although not advertised, if you go to Magical Express and let them know you are there they may be able to pull your extra luggage even without the yellow tags. The scenario you describe makes sense, Southwest will only care about what you check at the departure airport, and Disney will only care about luggage that shows up with yellow tags (or names that they are looking for). You can "gate check" luggage on the Magical Express too if needed, the downside is that you would need to leave it with the concierge at the destination resort instead of having it appear in your room automagically. This works great if you need some items before heading to the parks even if you don't have a room assignment yet.

Passport, and depending on several factors it may benefit you to have Global Entry. I like flying Porter to Canada if you'll be in the east of the country. Take Southwest to get to MDW or one of the other Porter airports. (Chicago MDW, Pittsburgh, Boston, among others.)

I think it might be a mixup in the lingo, I've never heard of family boarding to be affected by ticket type. It is affected by age of the child, and potentially number of adults traveling with the children. Companion boarding along with the primary ticket holder likely to be A-list does cause friction when the companion has a later boarding position, particularly if the child companion was old enough not to qualify for family boarding as an altnerative.

Yes. Here's an answer from the pet FAQ: Customers will be permitted to travel with no more than one (1) pet carrier per person. Each pet carrier can have no more than two (2) of the same species of small cats or dogs per pet carrier. You should read the complete policy for other restrictions https://www.southwest.com/pets/

Points earned through a RR credit card are posted monthly to your RR account so you can book travel with those points through the Southwest website. My understanding of the BofA card is you pay for travel with the card and then you can select to get a credit with the points you have. If you don't have enough points in your RR account to cover the entire purchase, book what you can with RR points and then purchase the remaining portion of the trip with your BofA card, and then file for reimbursement. You'll need to inquire with BofA for more details about how that card works. There's no way to combine the two buckets of points.

@rdonley This was in the news back in May: “We’re deciding what our plans are for 2018 and Hawaii is important to us.” – Gary Kelly, SWA CEO. Southwest's new long range aircraft will be joining the fleet in October so that's a big part of the equation.

@TheMiddleSeat wrote: Also, not all points count towards CP. In general, "bonus points", typically earned from shopping, do not qualify for CP. You could also have a difference the other way, having more CP points than actual points if you redeemed some points so it's not uncommon for those two numbers to not match. To be clear: All points earned from a shopping using a Southwest Rapid Rewards Visa qualify for Companion Pass, including any bonus points. All base points earned from any other partner also count, but any bonus points earned from a partner other than the RR Visa Card do not. This would include bonus points from partners like Rapid Rewards Dining and Rapid Rewards Shopping.

Hopefully you were able to get the "boarding position only" upgrade at the gate for cash. I don't think it makes sense to use points for Business Select - one of the real benefits of BS fares is the extra point earning potenital, which you would be doing the opposite by purchasing with points. If the boarding position was critical for someone, then it would be best to go for early bird for a small price upgrade instead of multiples on the cost of the ticket.

I wouldn't expect a problem - the child is traveling correct, just not right at the moment? As much as I don't expect a problem, I'd expect even less of a problem at curbside check-in. The baby items don't count as your two free checked bags. I think it is two additional free baby items per child among stroller, car seat, pack and play.

Great news! Today Southwest mailed my grandson's iPad. We were both SO very happy. A lost report was filed immediately & edited as I remembered important details that would identify the iPad as his. It took about 16 days, so don't give up hope. Initially we got an email saying they were in receipt of the report & to allow 30 days. I never did give up hope. Thanks again, Southwest, my favorite airline for taking the time to find my grandson's iPad. We are SO grateful! God bless you all.

Sounds like you purchased a flight using one of the two vouchers and paid the remaining balance in cash? Was it a Wanna Get Away fare/ticket? If that's the case, yes you could cancel the ticket you purchased BUT the amount you paid (including the cash amount) would be returned to you in one Travel Fund expiring when the voucher was scheduled to expire. You would then have a Travel Fund for the whole amount of your trip AND the second voucher so you wouldn't achieve what you want to do, assuming that is to use both vouchers and not spend your cash. At this point I don't see how you could use both vouchers and get your cash back. However, if you bought an Anytime or Business Select fare you could get the cash portion back if you canceled and then you could rebook.

Several factors go into whether or not any exit row seats will be available so there's no guarantee, but your best bet is to either purchase Business Select tickets or pay the $30-$40 per person at the gate to upgrade your boarding position. You're much more likely to be successful on first flight of the day when plane is starting the day at your location (no passengers traveling through your location).

Thanks for the reply, but I already had that information. The problem appears to be Southwest. I called and spoke to someone who was very confused and had no real answer. Although TSA materials appear to accept the batteries as carry on, after a long wait, the SW rep said no. Then I actually stopped in the baggage office at the Atlanta airport and the persona seemed quite freaked out that I would even ask them a question. Bottom line - I shipped everything via UPS - no problems.

With Southwest there's no advantage or disadvantage to buying one way flights vs a round trip so as @franktravel said, just buy a one way and you can buy the return one way when you're ready.

Based on past experience and reading about other people's experiences, points for flower purchases usually post pretty quickly (couple of days after delivery), but they often don't post at all due to some rule technicality the seller has. People have had luck calling the seller to ensure their purchase qualified and points are actually going to post. I would not count on your points being reactivated so you need to ensure some points post before your expiration date. It wouldn't hurt to seek points from another method too, just to give yourself a backup plan. Points from the dining program tend to post quickly too and buying a drink at a fast food restaurant can be enough to save your points from expiring.

No way to do this currently, probably because there's no pooling of points. You can buy a ticket for someone else with your points, but you can't combine multiple people's points.

Checking in online doesn't change anything at the airport, just go to the normal baggage/check-in counter when you arrive at the airport.

@chgoflyer wrote: No, you can only use funds towards air travel (base fare + fees and taxes) for the same passanger(s) as originally ticketed. Southwest does not extend funds. Once expired, you can contact Customer Relations and ask that they be reissued as vouchers, minus a $100 fee each. These requests are granted on a case-by-case basis. In addition, please be careful to use the travel funds together or with gift cards/cash since if you cancel again the expiration date will be the earliest date. I had a bad experience in the past. I used a $5.60 travel fund which expired in May 2017 and ~ $160 voucher which expired in 12/2017 then I had to cancel it due to conflict schedule. Then, my new travel fund ~$160 + 5.60 was expired in May and end up I could not use all of them.
