For some reason it doesn't appear that you can book a flight from the mainland to KOA, at least not yet. I tried to do this a few months ago, flying from DEN. The workaround is to book to either HNL or OGG, then book an inter-island flight from there to KOA. When you check in your bags in Dallas use the full service desk and you can request the bags be checked through to KOA instead of having to pick them up in HNL or OGG and rechecking them, just have the confirmation number for your inter-island flight handy in case the agent wants to see it. You'll need to do all the same booking and bag check workarounds to get back to the mainland from KOA. --TheMiddleSeat

@james8 I would check out the low fare calendar as mentioned by SWDigits that way you can see a full month worth of dates as flight schedules change from time to time and some routes may be seasonal or weekend only routes. -Blake

@rickydaz A lot of us feel your pain and agree at times the WiFi is hit and miss. I know they are working on improving the WiFi although I'm not sure when it will be fixed to an occasional issue (technology isn't perfect) the best thing to do is let Southwest know personally so they can document it. In the meantime while I can't make up for the lack of internet lately if you DM me I can get you a little something for your next flight and hopefully it will make up for some the WiFi issues lately. To DM just click on my picture next to my message here and you should see a button to send me a message. Hope this helps Blake

Libra_14: (sorry, quoting another post is broken): I replied to your post in the other thread. The shirt answer is that yes, the points should qualify. The long answer is more complicated. 😉 https://www.southwestaircommunity.com/t5/Rapid-Rewards-Credit-Card/Extra-Points-on-hotel-booking/m-p/96154#M463

Agreed sometimes it’s the little things that make an experience go from normal or good to great. Glad to hear Shane made your flight a little sweeter by giving you the full can of Coke. If you have Twitter feel free to Message Southwest so they can pass on the kudos to Shane and her leaders. -Blake

@TerriP Unfortunately the only way to change payment methods is to cancel and rebook. You could reach out to Southwest on Twitter and maybe they could help with trying to keep your EB or refund it as an exception so you can re add it to the new reservation but no guarantees as EB is usually a non refundable fee. Hope this helps Blake

We're very sorry for letting you down, @LarryM. As a peer-to-peer support forum, we are not equipped to assist you here, but we encourage you to contact Customer Relations via the options at Contact Us. Thank you!

@Jdkowis To earn the companion pass you would need to earn 110K points OR complete 100 one way flights between January 1st and December 31st. So the points you earned in 2018 or before would not count towards earning the companion pass for this year. Hope this helps Blake

Thank you Blake, I did sent an email to Southwest because I made the reservation for Budget through their website. I know they don’t have anything to do with Budget but they are endorsing their business and offering fake deals on Southwest. My reservation with Budget was under my Southwest account.

Thanks for sharing a heartwarming story. May I suggest that you get Rajaa a cell phone? This can literally be a lifesaver in some circumstances and a great comfort in others.

It's also important to know that if you create an account for your daughter, you can request past flight points for travel completed within the last 12 months. To enroll her, please visit https://www.southwest.com/account/enroll/enroll-member?f=zSWASWHPAA1504000zz.
Thanks!

MDW and ORD are both susceptible to bad weather in slightly differing ways. MDW could be limited on flights with poor visibility or condition related to the short runways. If it becomes clear that only a reduced percentage of flights can come through then it would be a partial cancel like you observed, as opposed to a big blizzard that gets all the flights stopped.

As the companion you can cancel without penalty and it won’t affect your wife’s reservation. If it is booked as a Round Trip you can call to have just the return flight cancelled for you. You can either have the $5.60 held as a travel fund or request a refund to the original for, or payment. -Blake

Certainly we apologize if there was any miscommunication in the past. Allow me to clarify that Customer Relations is able to search by the Customer's confirmation number to locate paper vouchers issued in the airport and send a an email replacement in every case as long as it's still within the validity period.

A bit of a side note, but others already mentioned they use TSA PreCheck so I’ll just throw in my two cents and suggest it as well. I know it seems super annoying that you have to pay for it, but if you are flying enough to make A-List you really, really should give in and pay the $85 for 5 years of PreCheck. Yes, it’s all a joke and paying extra to be treated like a human is ridiculous, BUT the theater that is TSA screening is sooooo much more tolerable with PreCheck. If you do any international travel paying the extra $15 ($100 total) for Global Entry is super wonderful, letting you breeze through Customs. Just one trip in the 5 years justifies the additional cost. I also opted to purchase Clear which is a bit of a stretch to justify, but I appreciate the individualized service their offer and they have been very helpful getting me PreCheck-lite service when PreCheck is closed. And yes, TSA does control which airline priority lines are open so saying something to Southwest may get them to say something to TSA, but focus your annoyance at TSA, not Southwest. --TheMiddleSeat

@spookyac47 Sorry to hear your flight was cancelled today. If your able I recommend going to the airport as the agents at the airport might be able to assist with a hotel (if they can't get you out on a flight today and if the reason for the cancelled flight is mechanical) if your at the airport they might be able to get you on a flight if your on the standby list. After travel is complete you can always reach o ut to customer relations at 855-234-4654 or send Southwest a message on twitter and they can look in to possible reimbursement but there are no guarantees. Hope your on your way soon without any other delays. Blake

@S__Comkowycz I'm sorry to hear of the experience you had on your recent flight as that is not the service a lot of us have come to know and LUV. Being that this is primarily a customer to customer forum I recommend you reach out to Southwest directly so they can look in to this. You can reach out to Southwest directly though any of the methods listed here: Submitting a Suggestion and/or Complaint Hope this helps Blake

I do know that southwest was doing some website maintenance last night and they posted the notice on the website like a travel Advisory this should have only affected app notifications and email confirmations. That might have had some effect on bookings if something messed up but that I don't know. You could always reach out to customer relations at 855-234-4654 and they night be able to help but no guarantees as fares are subject to change until ticketed. Hope this helps Blake
