I can get on the mainpage but can not select a flight. Been having these problems for several months and after SWA reset my account, it worked for awhile and now is doing the same thing as before.

Looks like Jetway Jesus was there to meet her. The miracle flights seem to be especially plentiful with SWA. @MrSavage wrote: 0 through passengers. The complaint is about the obvious false disabilities. Entire families boarding first because of a 70 yr old woman that walks away fine after the flight. Unfortunately I just now consider southwest to not have acceptable boarding.

@gsking wrote: Nicole, thanks. As I suspected. I didn't make the earlier flight, and wasn't even early for my scheduled flight. But I'm here.🙂 Just this past week I was able to finish up a project early and head home at a decent time instead of the late flight I had previously booked. When I went to the ticket counter and asked about same day standby the agent must have had some idea that i may make it, and booked my luggage on the earlier flight even though I had to go to the gate to be cleared for my boarding pass. I'm not sure what the parameters are exactly for checking bags into the later flight knowing you would request an earlier standby flight, or when they go ahead and check luggage on the earlier one even if the ticket counter agent can't confirm you right then.

Hello, and thank you for participating in the Community. We understand the concerns discussed here and appreciate the opportunity to respond with our statement:
Southwest will vigorously defend the lawsuit. When the incident happened two years ago, we investigated the allegations and addressed the situation with the Crew involved. We can confirm from our investigation that there was never a camera in the lavatory; the incident was an inappropriate attempt at humor which the Company did not condone.
The Safety and security of our Employees and Customers is Southwest's uncompromising priority. As such, Southwest does not place cameras in the lavatories of our aircraft.

I have filed multiple police reports, TSA report, and reports with the airline. Nothing has been done. I would just like others to know that nothing will be done about items stolen from their checked luggage.

Hi @Dawna22! I can verify that you can opt to purchase EarlyBird for just the return flight since I just did it myself on a multi-Passenger reservation. As long as everyone is on the same reservation, you only need to check in once. If you purchased EarlyBird, check-in is automatic for each person you purchased EarlyBird for. We look forward to welcoming you and your family onboard!

Hi there! The only way to apply for a job at Southwest Airlines is by submitting your application for an open job at careers.southwestair.com. To check on the status of your applications, please visit https://corporatecareers-southwest.icims.com/ and log in using the email and password you used to apply for a job. @Shellbell_76377 wrote: From what I have dealt with it doesn't change anything to contact customer relations. I will also be canceling my southwest card and going with Delta. Southwest doesn't seem to be concerned with losing customers. SW doesn't lose any more customers than any other airline - probably less. A certain subgroup of passengers have it "up to here" and swear off an airline every year. I've done it. There are reasons SW flies more people in the lower 48 than anyone else (and has for years), as well as having the best customer satisfaction score of major airlines. Sorry to hear you are leaving..If / when you get tired of the various fees the others charge, feel free to return.

Re. “a guy bleeding from his leg sitting in a wheelchair” If the guy was literally bleeding from an open wound, from an infection control perspective, this is commonly and technically known as “bad” – especially if someone is boarding a crowded plane for a well-contained flight. First of all, if the guy bleeding has an open wound, he himself is way open to bacteria and significant risk of infection, particularly in a crowded, closely contained, not very clean, commercial airplane environment. Secondly, if this is an open wound, those who might come into contact with the guy, or his blood from a surface, are at risk of contracting anything he may be carrying. This could be any type of blood-borne illnesses like hepatitis B or C, staph, or any other virus the person may have. Blood is a fabulous transmitter for illness. Additionally, bloodborne viruses can live outside the body and still cause infection. For example, the Hep B virus can live for as long as a week outside the body in dried blood, and Hep C for up to four days. One might also think there is a decent chance that a guy boarding a plane with a bleeding open wound is not in the best of health or under the best of care. To allow a passenger to have an uncovered, bleeding wound, while boarding and flying on a plane is staggering to me. And people usually look at me funny after I sit down, pull out my Lysol wipes, and clean every surface around me that I might touch. Southwest – Apparently you have a new protocol to implement, and/or further training to provide your employees.

I wonder if they had a last minute craft swap? Normally, they would not have said they had a seat, but maybe the computer system did not catch up with craft swap. Some of the older 737s have only 4 seats on the exit row whereas most 737s have six seats. I am sorry this happened to you and the lady you were sitting next to. This is not typical, so I hope you will give the, another chance someday.

In regards to the nonstops to Vegas disappearing, you can add me to that list, as nonstops from PHL to LAS went away this year (2019). My last nonstop was booked in October 2018. I just make do and book flights with stops. To the previous poster: I can't believe not having a nonstop flight would stop you from going to Vegas altogether! Not me, I love Vegas too much lol. But I believe these flight consolidations, at least this year's, are obviously due to the MAX 8 grounding issues. --Jessica

Although I completely understand SWA's position...I will carry my own peanuts onboard. 9 times out 10 no issue, and if it a problem sitting near me....just put them away. Problem solved. Ps....the pretzels are disgusting and usually stale and maybe a half dozen pretzels per serving....and God forbid you ask for two.

@jtminneapolis wrote: This is the complaint......Companion flyers are a reward for spending a boat load of money and being loyal to SWA airlines in order to qualify. They ruin the experience of a "reward" when the companion is not treated like the member. Why can the not attach the companion ticket to the Rewards Member and check them simultaneously. The reward program is great and appreciated....they are meant to incent loyalty, and say thank you. When your companion has to wait to get on the plane separately, putting the rewards member in the position of "saving" a seat just takes away from the experience. With volume of pre-boarders growing, then the A-Listers, then family boarding, the purchase of Early bird has proven to be absolutely worthless. In fact, I bought early bird for my wife and got B43. What a waste of money!!! You can always buy an a1-a15 spot (if available) at the gate. It's amazing how many people who benefit from companion pass to the tune of thousands or tens of thousands of dollars a year find something to complain about. Does ANY other airline provide an equivalent benefit?

Just as an aside. The flight crew usually are the ones who clean the seats and I'm sure dog hair would be a concern. However, they could be better in manners. I had a few older attendants lately that were as rude as United.
