File a complaint to the airline using the "Contact us" button. If enough people complain, they may change the policy.

I have posted on this thread and have followed the thread for awhile and you are the first person to offer a real solution. I have also began to book flights on other airlines due to people obviously taking advantage of the situation - and I am not referring to the people who actually need to pre-board for legitimate reasons.
if you can’t find another airline for your route you can always pay a few bucks extra to board in 1-15 which puts you in front of the A-Listers. I have pre-tsa and have rarely seen the a-list security line faster than pre-tsa. The only real advantage of Southwest I see is greater flexibility with last minute flight changes. The a-list perks seem pretty limited. I also don’t drink so I give away the limited drink coupons they send me as random acts of kindness in flight.

Hence why I buy my luggage at Goodwill, and it really isn't worth that much to begin with. That's just me. I hope you make your claim, and you get the outcome you seek.
I tried this in Vegas and the selection was surprisingly not that great. Maybe it was the wrong part of town for that.

@smoreho3 @mrsstats @TobyLibby This was posted 13 hours ago and the poster mentioned they flew in 7 hours, so this is after the fact posting. I was/am going to suggest that you may just go a bit early and show all your information to the ticket counter and they hopefully can make some type of adjustment for you. I don't know how that works after boarding numbers have been assigned, but maybe you could have requested a pre-boarding pass for the mix-up. I'm curious to know how this came out, can you give us an update please. Thanks.

Can I find my funds without my confirmation number?
Only if you used your Rapid Rewards number for the reservation. If you log into your RR account, it will be listed under "travel funds available".
If you didn't use your RR number, I think you are out of luck..

Totally agree with you, you should get what you pay for Southwest isn't in the business of delivering that. Would recommend literally any other airline so you don't have to deal with their "quirks" , sincr Southwest decides to identify their flaws as such.

I'd go for it, adding EBCI removes any stress about having to check-in right at 24 hours prior. Sure, you could have gotten a better position if you had purchased back when you bought the tickets, but September is still a ways off and you won't be the last to purchase EBCI. You'll win back all your travel costs in Vegas anyways, right? --TheMiddleSeat

@John1158 I see people get up and walk off the plane, but they usually get in a wheelchair once they are through the cabin door. They also walk onto the plane. Most people in wheelchairs at the airport can walk, but they can't walk long distances. I suspect that they are gone by the time you get off the plane, and you assume that they walked up the jet bridge.

Has anyone told you you can’t be in the family boarding line with your 8 yr old? I think most people would be ok with it including flight attendants. I agree that an 8 year old can’t sit alone but likely someone would trade you. sometimes you can upgrade your boarding at checkin counter or gate for less money or upgrade to any unfilled business select for cheap (rare) so you can pre-board. But when I go with my kids I usually try family boarding or trading. Once I had to pay at the gate though to upgrade as it was a very full flight and we had end of C boarding and you was scared noone would trade.
