Hi,
If an employee gets paid twice a month, will each paystub have YTD amounts individually for each period so they both have to be added to find out the total earned OR the YTD amount of the second paystub of the month will shows all the previous income earned?
Thanks

You can use up to 3 forms of payment when making a reservation, so it sounds like your 2 travel funds will be enough to cover your flight, so you should be good to go!

What is your gateway airport? Some locations are offering rapid PCR tests although it may not be free.

Hi there. Typically I have great things to say about Southwest but something that bothered me this past trip was the search/rummaging TSA agents did on my checked bags. I understand that this is part of the process, but to a point. First of all, in the past they would leave a note in the bag saying that it was opened and inspected. No note was seen in my bag. Secondly, there should be a limit as to how much rummaging an agent can do in a checked bag. After all that is my property and I, like many others, are very private.
You may ask how I knew my bag was opened and checked. Thats a fair question. The reason is because my laptop bag was closed and my laptop was off when I packed (I make it a point to turn off my electronic devices). When I opened my luggage, my laptop bag was opened and my laptop had been turned on. What purpose did they have in taking my laptop out and turning it on? I may be over-reacting, but I don't see the need to tamper that much into someone else's belongings.
Are you checking it often? Make sure it doesn’t have a lithium battery which is not allowed in checked bags.
If it’s valuable at all then I wouldn’t check a laptop, although mishandling is rare it does happen from time to time.

How soon do you need to use the funds? As @bec102896 mentioned it may be possible to make a change, this policy had been relaxed a little in recent years compared to the past although it won't look great that you didn't try to correct it when you had the flight originaly, but only now that it is travel funds want to change it.
And as @TheMiddleSeat mentioned it may be possible to fly with the misspelt name anyway. This would mainly have a downside if she has a rapid rewards account and was using this flight to achieve a status under the correct spelling.

I have a dilemma, I bought a flight to participate in this promotion. Only problem is that the flight that I bought out of Love Field was cancelled the morning of. It made us miss our son's game that we were going to see, so we had to cancel the trip. I guess that excluded me from the promo. SWA was very apologetic and even sent us $100 vouchers as an apology. The problem is, we missed out on the companion pass promo, I guess. I went online to book it this morning and it wasnt to be found. Can someone help me? I feel like we missed this promo on a "technicality". This seems like it could be easily rectified.

When you are on the WiFi landing page in the hamburger menu you should see an option for A List preferred you would click it and log in to your RR account and it will connect you for free. Keep in mind A List folks still have to pay for WiFi

I understand that people are new to SWA point system every year, but we do see this question every single year and it's too hard to go back to a year ago and cut and paste. There are all good answers on here, BUT, all are also subject to when the route you chose wants to post points. I've stayed at hotels and didn't get my SW points from them for months, while others were within a week. So that is hit or miss. Same with dining, usually weeks, and shopping can take up to weeks as well. At this point, depending on your billing cycle of the credit card, that may have passed and any points you get won't be posted until Jan. I tried to reach the AList preferred. At the start of Dec I needed less than 10,000 points and spent and spent on the credit card, but it wasn't enough and I fell short, even though I got 14K points from the credit card this month, not enough AList preferred points. So I look at it as a lesson learned, maybe other than spending for premium hotels for the next week, in which you would be staying every night, you might just chalk it up to a learning experience.

I have seen several articles posting essentially the same ambiguous details about the new fare SWA announced it will be offering beginning second quarter of 2022. Any speculations about what this new fare might entail??

I found an interesting new data point. As stated in the article, the new fare will be slotted between WGA and Anytime, and it would not take anything away from any other fare class. Apparently, Southwest also says that they will be increasing the benefits tied to BS, Anytime, and WGA fares. Okay, now I'm truly stumped. If they had said "enhancing", I'd jokingly say that it was a euphemism, but the word used was "increasing".

You will earn Rapid Rewards points and the flight will count towards A List and companion pass Just another note keep in mind with LUV vouchers they don’t cover taxes so you will still have to pay a little bit on a Credit card or use a travel fund and the travel fund will cover taxes. Also note If you pay the taxes with a credit card the funds will keep the expiration date of the voucher should you have to cancel later. if you apply a travel fund the earlier expiration date between the travel fund or voucher will apply. -Blake

@amgibson wrote: Oh, I’ve reached out to southwest and my funds were sent to their bank (Chase) but never received by my bank. This has been ongoing for 3-4 months now. They refuse to help at all. my funds WERE travel funds then they refunded them, after saying they wouldn’t. Plus they didn’t tell me they refunded them so I never knew to look for them for almost a year until I went to use my travel funds and they were gone. The travel funds also don't last forever, there were several extensions that might have applied during the pandemic to make it longer than a year but typically they are to be used within a year of original purchase. That doesn't sound like the issue here if they said it was refunded, then I would be trying to confirm the routing numbers, etc.

They said when we got home we could email a copy and get a full refund for her. We did it and they only gave us a $150 useless credit because we will never fly with them again. SHAME ON SOUTHWEST!!! I have to admit that I am confused.. You may need a birth certificate for lap children (those under the age of 2), but for no others. Someone anywhere near that young would never be forced to sit alone. Please explain... As far as the mask incident goes, mask wearing by EVERYONE age 2 and older is required by federal law. EVERY airline enforces that law. You may not like it, BUT IT IS THE LAW. As said several times up thread, this is a customer forum, and the airline will not resolve specific customer complaints here. For the disney tickets You would need to link your tickets in the Disney app. If your going to disney world (in Florida) it's the my disney experience app and once linked you can use Disney genie to help you with your day at the park. If you are going to Disney World and need help a couple of us here can help as well with tips. Keep in mind for both Disney parks you need a park reservation which you can make after you link your tickets to the Disney app. There is not a way or really even a reason to link your Disney/universal tickets to SW because they are different companies. SW vacations (which is not actually Southwest) might sell a package including tickets but once you get those tickets you would deal with the individual business (Disney and universal in your case) -Blake
