Same thing with me. It will eventually load, allow me to log in, but the log in takes me back to the temporarily unavailable page. I have a showtime in an hour and will be broken hearted if I'm unable to submit my application due to technical issues.

So as an A Lister i had a case opened on September 1st they responded by phone on September 17th the Customer Relations rep i spoke to said some response times are at or just below 30 days because of a lot of emails thanks to schedule changes, covid complaints, and other general emails/comments and complaints. You could also reach out on Twitter or Facebook and send Southwest a DM and maybe they can get you an update on your case. -Blake

This is obviously discrimination against skinny people. We should all boycott SWA immediately. #SkinnyLivesMatter

I fly a few times a week with good ol’ SWA and finally got a gold bag snack mix again today on SJC-DAL. I think they might still be using up those genetic white pretzel bags at certain hubs because I haven’t seen it anywhere else this week (long, short, midrange) despite their reappearance elsewhere. I was told weeks earlier it was a supply chain issue, like so many things right now. I loved the peanuts of old (they went great with a Friday flight home cocktail, ahem) but I too have been enjoying the snack mix, which popped up around last Spring. Hope they keep them around a while.

Are you using a LUV voucher by chance? If so LUV vouchers don't cover taxes which might be why you still owe money with part of the voucher applied but not all of it. Also as mentioned already if your original flight had others on the same confirmation number you can only use the funds attached to your name. -Blake

Yes, I have submitted an email describing the issue. I was curious if anyone else here had a similar experience, or had any thoughts. Thanks!

Hold times will be long at the group desk for the next few days. Southwest groups only has so many customer service agents I'm sure all hands are on deck. The bigger thing this time around is the schedule opened up for almost 4 months instead of a month or 2 so call volumes will be very high. Why is it always this way because really its no different than tickets to the great concert being released its like a rat race to get the tickets before the concert sells out some just want to book as soon as they can.

@bec102896 wrote: If you only have 1 device available do the group reservation first so the majority are checked in and maybe they can save the other few a seat. -Blake If you only have one device , you could open three different browsers - one for each of the three groups. You would not have to enter information three times as t-24 passes.

@gsking wrote: If they changed your flight, you should have 72 hours to change the flight with no added charge. I'm guessing you missed that window? If you are unable to make the change online, you can always call -- regardless of the 3-day window. Also, in my experience the window for online changes is often larger than 72 hours, sometimes up to a week. But this varies widely, seemingly for no apparent reason.

Schedule changes are a tough one in the airline business but from time to time they will happen and routes we like will be cut or may only ooperate at certain times of the year. Your best bet is to share your feedback with southwest directly though one of these contact methods Contact Customer Relations -Blake

I would not call this a regular occurrence, but prices change daily, over the years I've kicked myself several times for coming back to book later only to find a higher price on particular destination. If it's really cheap it's worth booking on the spot.....

I agree, no WiFi can be frustrating! In terms of work, I always plan to do work that doesn't require a connection to the internet and if I do have a connection, which is the vast majority of the time, I can e-mail and text as needed for free with Southwest ALP. I have yet to fly an airline that has 100% uptime with their intent connections, including United...I think it's a big gap/problem that all airlines need to address!

@poster7855 Every announcement had to include how to wear a mask, not take it off and to make sure you kept it on properly. You would think all the passengers were kindergartners That’s happening more places than just Southwest. I was on a United flight from Saint Louis to Chicago today for a 46 minuted flight and there were probably 20 announcements. On approach to O-Hare the FA got on the PA and shamed a passenger in about row 10 in to covering his nose with his mask. After he did so, she thanked him

Just FYI @ffflyer it would be best to start a separate thread on your own question, but the answer is “no” because you would have to check in with another boarding pass and board the plane twice. Customers of Size have this option as discussed above, and I believe musicians can purchase a second seat for things like cellos. There may be a few other exceptions I’m not aware of, but they all involve bringing something onboard that can’t go in an overhead bin.

Short answer yes you must name the child as your companion, keep in mind SWA limits the number of times you can change your designated companion on an annual basis

Unfortunately at this time you can't cancel just 1 person off of a reservation online you would need to reach out to Southwest at 800-435-9792, use the in app chat feature, or reach out to Southwest on Facebook/Twitter for assistance. I find social media and the in app chat to be the quickest as wait times on the phone will be long. If the other passenger doesn't need to use the funds right away you could also cancel the other passenger at the airport at the ticket counter since you can cancel up to 10min prior to departure. -Blake
