Good info. I've got a trip to Maui in February, but I'm sure that the entire state will revert back to the quarantine at some point.

No LAX, but daily non-stop LGB (Long Beach) to HNL starts March 11. Flying out of LGB sounds 1000% better than having to go to LAX. I also suggest you use the low fare calendar to find days with cheaper fares than what you saw, they are out there. --TheMiddleSeat

@gretch0628 Am I being unreasonable? In a word, YES! I work all year, mostly into Nov and Dec before the points for my companion finally reach the jackpot. And we are taking many flights, not the other promotions. You get on one flight and you have that luxury for months? I will admit, it's not during the best of times, but it's there. So I can attest you won't get much tread on this one even from the skeptical SWA travelers.

I'm sorry, I'm not denying your credibility, and understand that this is another effort to let SWA know you aren't going away. But for me, and I hope anyone else in this discussion forum, without SEEING the pictures ourselves, we can't, and I won't, be on your side. But keep up your fight if this is true.

Same thing happened to me. Our 30th Anniversary is Nov 2. I had booked back in April Nov2-7 and when I went out 2 month's ago to check the departure was gone but had the return. Called CS and they couldn't explain as to why I wasn't contacted. As far as I can tell SW has dropped Costa Rica.

This thread isn't about Rewards for Opinions, but to answer your post anyway: As a member of our program you may only have one account, provide accurate profile information and survey responses ^My guess is they took issue with either providing an accurate profile or your survey responses, not if you had more than 1 account. You need to keep your profile active and give accurate survey responses. If you don't do this they have the right to suspend your account for inactivity or if they feel you are manipulating survey responses or not taking them seriously. --Jessica

Just a guess, but I think the OP may be referring to this dreaded "oops" error box. When you go to the Southwest site on the desktop, it first appears that you are logged in -- it displays your name and current point total, etc. However, if you try to do most anything on the site, you're greeted with the message above. You have to go back, and then log out & back in to be actually logged in. It's a frustrating bug that's been around for years and years (there's at least one FlyerTalk thread about it). It even predates the most recent website redesign. My solution is to simply log out and log back in every single time I use the desktop site (if it's been more than a few minutes since I last used it). Clumsy, but it keeps me from seeing that message. 😉

Good reminder I need to renew. Also I'll jump in with @bec102896 and second (third?) the suggestion by @TheMiddleSeat to use the live chat function if you are on mobile app, or send a direct message to @SouthwestAir on Twitter if you use that platform. (Don't send any personally identifying information in a public twitter message.)

I bought the tickets and they will not refund the one I bought for my friend. She will not be able to use it at all. I just spoke to an agent who was so condescending and rude. I have been flying southwest for over 30 years. I am done! So now they get an extra $350 instead of refunding to the person who bought the ticket. I had a 69 minute wait on the phone to be treated so rudely! Horrible. Sorry you are disappointed in the funds being non transferable. This policy is the same with every other airline I am aware of with non refundable tickets the funds stay with the ticketed passenger. Luckily Southwest just introduced the new way for you to convert travel funds to rapid reward points so i would have your friend make a rapid rewards account and they can convert the travel funds to points which your friend can then use those points to buy a ticket for you. You can read more about the converting travel funds to points here: Converting Travel Funds to Rapid Rewards Points -Blake

The option to convert travel funds to Rapid Rewards points is now live. You can find the option toward the top of the My Account page on SW's site.

To be clear: In order to apply for a Chase Business Credit Card (including the Southwest Rapid Rewards card) you need to have an existing relationship with Chase. To apply, follow the link above, which will require you to log into your Chase account(s) before presenting an application link. Be aware that approvals for business cards have been significantly restricted by Chase since April.

The DOT was very, very clear and reiterated it multiple times that if the airline cancels the flight for any reason that the passenger is entitled to a refund. However, if the passenger cancels, even if the airline later cancels the flight, no refund.

Actually, there is a way to do what you want, but you can't book it as a one way from BWI to OGG because it involved 2 plane changes and the Southwest reservation system will not book a reservation that involves two plane change. But you can book it as a multi city trip. Here's what i found for December 9. It would be a very long day. Because SW does not fly red eye flights, there is no way to do the return in one day. southwest.com/air/booking/select.html?adultPassengersCount=1&departureDate=2020-12-09&departureTimeOfDay=ALL_DAY&destinationAirportCode=OAK&fareType=USD&int=HOMEQBOMAIR&originationAirportCode=BWI&passengerType=ADULT&reset=true&returnAirportCode=OGG&returnDate=2020-12-09&returnTimeOfDay=ALL_DAY&seniorPassengersCount=0&tripType=multicity

It means that you can adjust your flight to another flight for no additional cost if you would like to. I would suggest you check your existing reservation to see if any unexpected changes have been made and adjust your trip if desired. If everything looks good and you like the current schedule then no change is required and you can ignore the message. --TheMiddleSeat

Just look at the idio...er....people and shake your head. Maybe eventually they'll get a clue. So far, in my experience, they won't. At least most of them won't. They are gleefully oblivious standing 2019-style up against their neighbor. More reason to grab a window seat. No butt in your face, ever.
